Hello to whomever is reading this and thank you for both the click and your time! I am looking for a few roleplay partners to participate in either a private roleplay experience or a pm roleplay. If you are interested in this and over the age of 18, I have a few more details which I will list below for you to read through. If you are not interested, thank you for getting this far and I hope you have a good rest of your morning/afternoon/evening or whatever the time may be for you.
The Settings: When it comes to roleplays I tend to prefer alternate universe roleplays and am primarily interested in doing just that. There are a variety of themes, worlds, and genres in which I am comfortable playing in and I am open to discussion as well as building a scenario that suits our needs creatively. As a general rule I tend to avoid slice of life style roleplays because I have a difficult time finding the muse and entertainment in them. That is not to say they are bad or there is anything wrong with them, they just tend to not be my particular cup of tea. I also am not entirely comfortable playing characters that already exist and were created by other authors because I don't necessarily feel like I can do them justice. Original characters and stories are more my strengths and provide the space for me to lean heavily into them with my own imagination and ideas.
The Characters: As far as my characters go, I play almost exclusively female muses and most of them in their later 20s onward. Younger characters are difficult for me to play because I don't truly understand them and have a problem with getting into that headspace. I am an older mun and even when I was that age I had been forced to sort of grow up and mature far before my time which makes it hard for me to connect and really pour into them the things they require to be a fully believable character. I never had these experiences and so it is a struggle for me to make them feel authentic. As this is a roleplay and it is supposed to be fun without adding much stress to my life, I would like to avoid that kind struggle.
You character can be basically whatever you want to be. Male, female, non-binary, trans, etc, it doesn't really matter to me what you choose to do with them. It will alter the ways my characters interact with them on some level and what story they have together but that is entirely up to you. Again, age doesn't really matter to me icly but it will alter the tone and content of the plots appropriately. There will be no underage sensual content of any kind. At all. That is the only line I draw here and it is not a line; it is a giant wall surrounded by a moat, land mines, and topped with barbed wire. Thank you.
More details regarding characters can be discussed once we figure out what kind of world and general story we want to embark on. I prefer a collaborative way of writing and roleplaying and I will work hard to bring the arcs and stories to life once we figure out a direction. If at any time you think I am not doing well enough or if you have another idea, let me know and I will adjust. If you are having a hard time with a thought or idea and it is just not working for you, please let me know and again I can try to adjust for your comfort. Or we can drop it altogether and try something else. I will not take offense. Sometimes things just don't work out how we wanted and characters do what they do irregardless of how we try to make them behave, that is how it is and I accept it.
Themes: I am open to pretty much every theme that our characters are capable of except underage inappropriate topics. Violence and non-con are on the table provided the story is made better by including them and I will not be entertaining plots that consist solely of those elements. Romance is also an option provided the characters actually have that kind of chemistry. Again, not all characters do and that is okay. Angst is likely to be a part of any plot because life is full of ups and downs but I do not wish a plot that is entirely angst either. It is tiring to write, read, and melodrama is only fun for me in doses. Don't get me wrong, I will indulge and absolutely stuff up for the lols and story but dwelling in it or wearing angst like a shrowd is not for me.
Style: While I can do 1st pov, I greatly prefer 3rd. It is the way my mind works and to try and get my thoughts into 1st I have to do like this weird inner-brain translation thing that is somehow less reliable than google translate. It will be clunky and I apologize ahead of time but I can do descriptive 1st if that is what you need. I typically write a lot, and if you've made it this far I am sure you have noticed that and my roleplaying style is similar. Multi-para to novella is my bread and butter and I cannot, will not ever indulge in one-liners. If you reply to me in one line during a roleplay that is just not acceptable and I am sorry but that will be the end.
