if you have major sinus issues like i do, please, for the love of all things great, blow your nose if its runny or thick. Clear it all out. Your nose will be raw at the end of it, but trust me, it helps tremendously. If your throat is swollen and sore, start on a liquid diet, chicken noodle soup is the best. Raw Honey and lemon juice mixed in hot water is amazing too, it helps soothe a sore throat. This might sound gross, but if you cough up a loogie, spit it out.
When you sleep, sleep at an angle, use a few pillows to prop you up a bit. This should lessen the coughing fits at night and help drain your sinuses (which helpee a lpt for me). If you're having trouble sleeping, please take nightquil OR robitussin. During the day, take Alkseltzer Cold if you have it where you live OR dayquil.
And of course, drink loads of water. When you near the end (when you atart to feel a little better and symptoms feel less severe) drink powerade OR pedialyte!
Hope you feel better! I got covid with my entire family in one week when my dad came back home from work sick. We got it in less than 24-48 hours, I got better in, maube, 4-5 days? Almost a week. Everyone is different. If you do feel worse, or you have trouble breathing, contact your PCP and/or head to the hospital.
I hope you feel better soon bub!! Get plenty of rest and stay hydrated okay? Take meds and use lozenges for honey and warm water if your throat starts to bother you ♡
Be sure to stick eat, even if it's something light, your body is going to need the nutrients ♡ ily lots!!
The important thing to remember is that it’s not your fault for having caught it. When I had Covid that’s what ate me up the most, blaming myself for having caught it and having everyone around me be angry or upset at me for endangering them. I shut everyone out during quarantine and because I was blaming myself for having made everyone feel that way, I was really depressed during the first few days or quarantine and that too was not healthy at all.
Just remember to take care of you. Stay hydrated and take Tylenol, get lots of rest and remember to eat. Losing your sense of taste and smell cause it makes the joys of eating go away but you’ve gotta eat to get better. Hoping you all the best and that you get well soon.
yeah sounds about right
i had it in jan
tea, water, food, throat lollies, sleep and paracetemol are all very important!!
rest up and have a good recovery <3
