this is me and my many decisions making a comeback, but who knows for how long? either way, i'm here to try to convince you to join ilhwa! if you're an absolute fan of the historical period and angst, then there is no place you'd want to be in than ilhwa. so much creative freedom, and everyone is eager to connect and tune in on the drama! i haven't been here for a week, but i'm already here wanting another character anyway (but then again, what's new?). i'm also looking for connections for both my first and (soon) second characters!

once born to luxury as a member of the yangban class, areum now works as a gisaeng in order to try and keep her family afloat as the hong clan has now gone from the yangban class to sangmin. here is her profile, if you're interested to learn more. but for now, i am looking for her first ex-husband, whom she had married as part of an arrangement done by her family. this may be romantic, though it will be one-sided as areum will not reciprocate, or it can also be plainly platonic. your character may even hate her for getting married to you, perhaps putting a halt to a relationship between you and your beloved. the possibilities are endless! all i ask is that your character must be yangban, and must be 29 years old at the youngest.
also looking for another sister! currently, we have areum as the eldest, and yeoreum as the youngest. lots of mommy and daddy issues here, to be honest. you can even be hong boreum, gureum, or pureum! just name suggestions, though.

born to the bae clan, house of the daisy, eunhyuk is a painter under an alias (tba) who rose in popularity after his portrait of a certain yangban man took the attention of the ton. it was too intimate, some would say. eunhyuk was (or perhaps, is?) in love with this yangban man, but due to societal views, es, and their difference in status, they are not able to be together. he keeps two artistic identities: one, being eunhyuk himself, the one that he reveals to the public, and is known for his portrait paintings of his clients, and the other, (alias), which he uses in order to publish more personal artwork that may or may not shake society. this is my second character, so he's not as fleshed out yet!

- his beloved, a yangban man. your character does not have to reciprocate his feelings. he could be straight, but it'd also be pretty spicy if he was gay and this is a forbidden love affair!
- a lady that his family has introduced to him in hopes of him marrying. he isn't strictly homoual, but he isn't known for mingling with ladies as well. he keeps to himself.
