Okay, so what's the RP Ilhwa?
- joseon era setting
- bridgerton-y with events and fiances, weddings and divorcees everywhere!
- get your connections from the very beginning by joining an existing clan! imagine, got 2-3 connections (siblings/cousins) without even doing anything! woohoo!
My characters there are: Yeoreum, a hyper-insecure girly who is also super delulu about finding true love
If you join as a hot guy there's a 99% chance Yeoreum will have a crush on you. If you join as a hot woman there's a 51% chance that Yeoreum realises she's not as straight as she thinks she is.
some connection ideas:
1. a jungin family (2nd highest rank in society, upper class) helped her set up her solo business as an acupuncturist. more specifically the matriarch of the family helped her out. you're part of said jungin family and have since seen yeoreum frequently, but you don't think your family should be associated with a family like hers which 'fell from grace'. - drama, unfriendly relationship
2. love rival turned bestie - you and yeoreum both had an intense crush on the same guy. neither of you ended up getting the guy, but you sure did fight a LOT in the process. now that the fight is over, you're realising that he wasn't *that* great anyway and... you two kind of get along?
3. yeoreum is so in love with your sibling/cousin it's ridiculous. you know there's no hope and you wish she would give up and stop embarrassing herself. alas, she's not a quick learner so you decide to step in and help her out / discourage her from pursuing him because he's really not a good fit for her.
