Better known as ARCANE, Animagi Registry of Creatures And Natural-metamorphagus Entities is the registry record for all Animagi, Metamorphagus and occasionally Lycanthropy shown in a wizard and witch.

All animagi, metamorphagus, and wizards or witches with Lycanthropy need to be registered underneath ARCANE. It is possible for your character to be considered unregistered in context of in-character knowledge. The purpose of registering is for administration record keeping. We will make note in the ARCANE if you choose to keep your character unregistered so it remains true to their lore.

As these special cases are controlled in the canon material, we will be also be putting limits to the number of characters that are allowed to be an Animagi, Metamorphagus or with Lycanthropy. Find more information on Animagi / Metamorphagus / Lycanthropy here.

In order to ensure fairness for all writers, we'll be initiating reservations for these particular traits starting on May 1st 8:00am GMT+8 / April 30th 5:00pm GMT-8.

What can you reserve? We're currently accepting reservations for:

• 2 Animagi
• 3 Metamorphagus
• 1 wizard or witch affected by Lycanthropy
• 1 Veela family (limited to two family members only)
• 2 Veelas

As we gear up for reservations, please note that we'll need you to provide the following details for your reservation:

1. Your character's name
2. The trait they're applying for (e.g., Animagi)
3. Two connections where the chosen trait significantly influences your character and the plot. This ensures that writers don't monopolize traits merely for their appeal. It also allows other writers who could utilize the trait effectively to claim it for their characters.
4. Furthermore, it's important to note that Veelas are mostly female, and male Veelas are exceptionally rare. Since Veelas cannot reproduce with each other, their descendants usually inherit only a fraction of Veela traits, leading to the gradual fading of the Veela lineage over generations. If your male character possesses extraordinary beauty, it's possible they have an ancestor with Veela blood. However, it's important to clarify that they are no longer considered part-Veela.
