The Power Vacuum
Thus, when the old regime had been demolished, the throne remained vacant as people wrangled over what their future governance was to be. A joint rule was resolved upon by the four big clans that were struggling for dominance, together they would rule over the land, sharing power and territory. This arrangement, however, was fertile with tension, as brimming rivalries and ambitions simmered over just below the surface of this new alignment.
