a question from a coder

whenever layout coders do surveys on what rpr users want to see, i tend to notice people writing "mobile-friendly"

when people say mobile friendly, do they mean:
a) the layout's text box doesn't expand past the phone screen and forces users to go left and right to read something
b) the layout isn't too complicated that it makes a mobile user register too much information at once
c) the layout is easy to edit on mobile
d) others: write your reply in the comments, i'd love to know!

honestly, i don't mind the letter a like how i used to when i was new, but wider layouts do tend to look ed up on mobile when it's beyond the 320 width (that's the highest i've seen from all the layouts i've used) that the right part ends up being under the left part (will show a ss on the comments). i wish some layouts aren't like that specially if it looks really good on pc. layouts where it's boxed and scrollable but some of the sentences are hidden at the right side to avoid the scroll bar from showing on the layout, too. i wish that were easier to fix because it's hard not to notice on mobile.

responsiveness, the layout looking good on a pc screen and on a mobile screen
not necessarily making it smaller but arranging it in a way that can work for mobile
the user should still be able to read and use comfortably

i use media queries in css but idk if that applies on layouts here

i'm always switching between pc and mobile so i get annoyed if things are too small to read on pc but i get even more annoyed if i need to scroll side to side to finish a sentence lmaooo so when i'm planning out layouts now i fill the screen on pc, but split the text boxes so that it's easy to read on mobile like this:

tentwo is right.
i have a sop that has maybe one or two 'mobile friendly' layouts.

so for me, i try to make the layout fit within the screen of a standard phone screen, top to bottom, side to side. A simple and not too overly complex. I try to make it easy as possible to edit, but, coding can be tricky in a sense.

I'd like to guess all the options, but mainly A and B tbh
