Chemical warfare has been an issue for many moons, but it's hit an all time high. South Korea's water has been poisoned and the chemicals are having various affects on different people. The symptoms, however, of the poisoning, is widespread and severe. Infertility is at an all time high, the only way to have a child is to suffer through IV and roll the dice... To see if you end up with one child, or three. Another side affect... Hermaphrodity. Many men had developed wombs as the poison contained high amounts of oestrogen and other female hormones.
So who survives? The few that do live with the doctors at the centre of the village "Health Spring", dubbed the the locals as "Toxicity". Doctors are gods here, the others will suffer the high prices of treatment, steal, beg, sell themselves all in an attempt to stay healthy just a little longer... Or to pay the bills of those close to them who have fallen ill.
