The north kingdom, it was where everything would change. It has been said that, one unlikely person would change everything and join all the four kingdoms together to bring everlasting peace. Only the king was aware of this and yet, he couldn't tell anyone who it was and when they would do this seemingly possible task that was gifted to them, or if they were born yet. In could of been generations before the birth. It is also where everything starts with one selfish demand, that would reveal all those questions.

Zhang Yixing

The prince was pacing, from one side of the throne room to the other side, he stopped in front of him, "tell me, what do you see here?" He asked as he gestured at the throne room around them, the question itself was simple yes, but with the suddenness it had been asked it had thrown him off. The squire took a look around, the throne room was designed to hold like the rest of the castle, that was not it, it was covered in fine silks with the sign of they're family sigils, a deer's antlers, that was possibly not what he was asking his question about. His eyes landed on the throne, made of metal and he assumed not very comfotable.
"I see a throne room?" Yixing said, a little unsure.
"Yes, and what is in a 'throne' room?" Lu Han questioned hm once again.
"The Throne of your father?"
The prince gave him a look of annoyance, as he nods, "exactly that." His reply was flat, as his eyes remained on the throne, "see I think my dear father has been ruling for far to long, it's selfish really, his been ruling for far too long, whys that?"
"He's been a wise king."
"He's been a foolish king, all this peace they say we have, has made him soft." Lu Han corrected immediately afte Yixing had finished speaking, it was unusual for the prince to speak this blunt he noted in his own thoughts. He was not bold to enough to say that outloud, it wasn't something bad but he still knew better to speak his mind without asking if he was free to do so. His parents had taught him royality were dangerous people and he'd should just hold his tounge unless given permission to speak freely.
" I see..."
" No you don't... You don't understand, this was my birth right and the old man refuses to step down at his age." Lu Han said, his voice was getting higher more annoyed and anger flashed across his face, "So I decided that I have to do something, because he's selfish and must be moved out of the way by force." He stopped once again, resting his hand on his cheek, his frown changed as his lips moved upwards into a smile, his voice made lower, " If you really love me like you say you do Yixing, you'd do this for me, I want you to poison my father. It won't kill him,not quickly anyway, I just need to show him I'm a much better suitor for the throne."
Yixing was silent, he didn't know what to say, his brain refused to come up with anything for him to say to the prince standing in front of him, he knew was was blushing though, he could feel the heat coming off his face. It wasn't a secret, he had told Lu Han before this, but he didn't think he'd recall that. " Show me just how far your love goes." He moved his hand away, taking Yixing's as he dropped a small bottle in his hand, closing it around it. "three drops should be enough, now go."
~~~~~
It wasn't easy to end up being the one to give the king his wine, Yixing was never much of a liar and as a child he wasn't good at lying at all. It wasn't a good feeling to say that he was better at lying now. He knew that he shouldn't be doing what the prince had order of him, that it was wrong, it was treason too. But he he was in no place to say no. He could of went to the king and told him of his son's plan, yes, but then something bad would of happened to him. He would never disobey an order, because it was more then that, and it was rather insane and it shouldn't of happened but he was in love with the prince, his prince.
He knocked on the door, "your wine, my king." he spoke through the door, waiting for permission to go in the king's personal chambers.
"You may enter." That was the permission he needed as Yixing gently opened the door and stepped inside.
"My son is getting you to run around and serve wine now."
"It was my honour, your higness." He answered as he gave him a bow, he couldn't met his eye as he handed him his drink.
" You may leave." Yixing his heel as he left the room, pausing in the doorway for a moment as he thought of telling the king of the drink but instead just closed the door behind him and left.
