In the wake of the fact that I've been sick with my nasal infection again and my lazy self to do some writing and actually post. I've been sitting in wait for a lot of things to come in the next few months, One of them being a brand new video game. "Tom Clancy's: The Division." And I have had this swelling feeling for (once i actually get motivation to post(Even though I have some...)) this new idea of roleplay, based off The Division. I've stalked the news and even started listening to a podcast for it in wait for the blessed day it releases to the public. But I really was thinking, this (As much of a cliche' and how many times it's been done before.) would be a nice breath of air on a retake and Post Apocalyptic New York. This is sorta me gauging out of my friends, who would be interested to join, I won't give away all my ideas in this blog post. But for those of you who don't game or haven't heard of it, here's the premise of what I want to build/expand on. Cause I haven't had this much hype for a game since the release of Metal Gear Solid 4. And in my mind if I can get it going, I think it will not only be a nice thing to curb my personal want for this game, but give a nice role play experience because it’s in Alpha and with so little, the rp as a community and a whole can play to making this something I feel could be really unique.

Last Year, 200 million people swarmed their stores on November 23, we call that, Black Friday. Did you know that a Flu Virus can survive on a bank note for up to 17 days? One day there will be a pandemic, it could begin during the crush of Black Friday sales. A pathogen will jump from a tainted bank note, to human skin, on to food, toys, children and loved ones. By the time Patient Zero feels a sore throat, millions of people will already be infected. From this point, the breakdown will happen fast.
Day 01: Hospital’s will reach capacity. Panic will strike
Day 02: Quarantine Zones will be established. Resources will be rationed. Transport will go into Lockdown.
Day 03: International trade will stop. The Oil will dry up. The Stock Market, will collapse.
Day 04: The power will fail, shelves will be empty, taps will run dry, and once hunger and despair take hold...the people will do anything for survival.
By Day 05 everyone will be a potential threat.
In 2007 a new Presidential Directive was signed quietly into law. This maps out the Government's response to crisis, a plan to cope with the real DARK_WINTER. It is known as Directive 51. There are rumors of Shadow Agency’s, Sleeper Cells, Covert Agents….but nothing can be confirmed. Our complex world is prime for breakdown, and once the chaos strikes their won’t be resources to save us all. The only question left is... What will it take, to save what remains?
