So I've been watching Scream, the tv series, on Netflix and it's kind of given me a creative streak that I would like to act on before it goes dry. I've noticed a shortage of roleplays around lately, especially those with unique concepts, and I really haven't seen any horror type roleplays, so it's kind of interested me in creating one.
I was thinking a roleplay wherein one would follow the cliche horror plots and every one or two weeks a group of people are assigned a story line and there is a secret killer that they have to weed out. While doing so, someone's character will die and in order to keep it rolling the admins would drop hints into varying character's inboxes so that way they have a chance of finding out. It'd basically be a game, and once someone dies they can either wait to be put into another story line, do a little rping on their own, or still be essential to the plot depending on what it is.
Story lines would include the classic slasher movies like Scream and Cabin in the Woods as well as ghost based films like Paranormal Activity and the gory and psychological movies like Saw. In many ways it'd be like Until Dawn - if you've heard of the game, if not be sure to check it out - and every decision can cause a death or someone's survival.
In my typical fashion I'd make it third pov. But I'm questioning it because I've seen first pov detailed is rather popular.
Regardless what do you guys think? I'm kind of bordering on the idea.
