Okay, so, I have been thinking about creating a brand new rp. I have several ideas on the subject and would very much like input on which I should attempt to do. The way I figure it, I will be putting a lot of effort into it so I would very much like it to succeed and that can only work if I have rpers that are as excited at the idea or playing there as myself so please comment and let me know your thoughts.
My ideas are as such -
A super hero/villain city rp - Pretty self explanatory here. I was thinking everyone gets one main power and a couple smaller abilities to create their character. From there we have a couple events a month in the city so that the characters can fight with or for each other in an attempt to save or destroy the place. I was also playing around with the idea that the city changes a little with each event depending on who wins.
A Soul Eater based matchmaking rp - characters can choose whether to be a meister or a weapon, get paired up (Even if it ends up just being friendship) for a few weeks. If it works, they can choose to keep the pairing and if not they go back into the mix. Paired weapons and meisters will get monthly missions to carry out. If they do well, they receive bonus points which they can use to purchase special quarters and vanity items (Possibly even upgraded forms of the weapons or gear for the meisters).
I was tempted to do a Romance of the Three Kingdoms historical rp - Characters apply for positions within the three armies, all at war, and attempt to carry out their dutiies based on how they think. This means that soldiers can even flop sides in the middle of the monthly battle events. Based on how each army does in the event will change who controls the province. At the monthly activity check, we will vote on which province will be up for the taking. Will also be open to characters who maybe want to start revolutions and revolt against their leaders to start a new kingdom.
Fantasy Elemental Kingdom rp - Five elemental kingdoms and one school to train the warriors. Learning skills based on the clan type, attending classes(events), carrying out monthly missions, and possibly more depending on interest. Was going to have points used to purchase houses, pets, armor, weapons, and other items.
