It’s time to select the Ruling Court and with the solstice and festivities looming overhead, it’s only right that the Winter Court hosts it. All Four Seasons and their Court are invited, expecting to pick the new Ruler of Avalon from the Spring Court. They’ve gotten their best outfits out, the fanfare expecting to last more than a night but who knows what Fate has in store? 

A Court of Souls and Stars is a high-fantasy au loosely based on the series called 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' by Sarah J. Maas. All characters in this roleplay is fiction and hold no resemblance to the faceclaims in real life.

Please favorite and upvote the RP before you apply and please only apply from an account that is 6 months old or older. If your profile is private, unprivate it just so your join date can be verified. If you’re on a new account, you will not be accepted unless you can provide an old account we can also verify. We reserve the right to decline your entry for the sake of keeping community comfort and peace.

In order to reserve a fc and role, you must comment in the following manner:

"faceclaim as oc name, age, role and court has an rsvp for the ball."

Accepted reservations are valid for 48 hours after being notified. You will have this period of time to follow through with the acceptance instructions before your claims become up for grabs again.

Those removed for inactivity will be allowed to apply again after a waiting period. After your first removal, you will have a three day waiting period before you can reapply. After the second removal, you will have to wait five days. Those removed three times will be barred from reapplying for a month.

Please allow us time to process your application and accept you. It should not take too long, so please be patient with us.

Keep OOC and IC separate. If the conversation is OOC and will exceed more than 5 posts, use the OOC room. If it is IC, keep it IC. You will be expected to use brackets any time you post in IC spaces.

We allow you to receive two strikes before removing you from the roleplay. Depending on the severity of strikes and specific situations, you may be removed immediately and may also be blacklisted from the roleplay.

Be civil with other participants in the RP and do not speak ill of any roleplays or roleplayers. If you have an issue that directly affects your experience in the roleplay, please approach the admin team directly to voice your concerns. Keep IC drama to walls and PMs so you do not risk making others uncomfortable in the RP. Friendly banter in public spaces from time to time is okay, but make sure it isn’t excessive. OOC drama is not tolerated under any circumstance and if you are involved in any OOC issues with another, please handle it among yourselves and involve the admins if needed. We ask that you also provide screenshots of the situation so we can better handle the issue.

Please keep all rated images and posts in DMs and private posts, and refrain from putting rated/ content in public spaces in general. Rated discussions are not encouraged, but not prohibited. If you ever see something that makes you feel uncomfortable while in this RP, please notify the admins of what happened and make sure you use our safe word "snowflake" when needed.

You will have 24 hours to set a DP and respond to the welcome message or be automatically removed. In addition to this, you will have 2 weeks to have a basic profile set up as well as at least one active and ongoing thread. To have what is considered an active and ongoing thread, you must have at least 3 replies from each involved party. In order to have what is considered a basic profile, you must have at least the general stats of your muse, their personality and/or bio, and at least one plot or connection.

Though you will be considered inactive after not posting or engaging with the community for two weeks (15 days). You will not receive notice before you are kicked as you are responsible for your own activity. Please request a hiatus or leave instead of going inactive; semi hiatus is 2 weeks, a full hiatus is 4 weeks.

Hiatuses are three weeks maximum and have a one month buffer period. You will not be expected to be active during this period, but we will still be checking in on you and will give you 48 hours after your return date to get active again. Those who repeatedly go on hiatus will be asked to leave. You may also not go on hiatus during your first week in the RP unless something is preventing you from being online.

Please message the admins in a Group PM titled “Leaving” along with the date and then detail a reason for your departure if you wish to leave the roleplay. the keyword is 'your favorite season'. Please do this before you leave the roleplay, and allow us 24 hours to respond to your message. Those who remove themselves before messaging/before we respond, and those who delete their accounts without warning will be blacklisted.

You are allowed to modify your muse’s physical age by 3 years up or down as long as they remain at least 20 years old internationally. Due to the concept of the roleplay, however, muses will technically be older than they appear.

We have in place the following restrictions for face claims and muses:

— Face claims and muses must be 20 years to 35 years of age internationally and active celebrities in the entertainment industry.
— We do not allow youtubers, tiktokers, adult stars, cosplayers, import models, social media influencers, and instagram models who have less than a 250k following.
— Muses do not need to be born in the countries they are ethnically tied to, but there will be absolutely no racebending.
— Muses that are transgender must be portrayed by transgender face claims.
— We do not allow face claims that are deceased, involved in crimes or significant scandals, married, and those who have previously stated they do not wish to be roleplayed.
— We only allow one muse per mun at the moment.
— we allow faceclaims and muses of all orientations, genders, ethnicities, etc. as long as they abide by the restrictions above. 

You may change face claims or roles once every two weeks. Changes are final, and we will not allow for trial periods/temp ccs. Please choose your face claim and role with careful consideration of whether or not you will be able to stick to it.

We urge and strongly advise our muns to read the rooms labeled under 'info' to get a better gist of the lore and what we are trying to push the story to be. remember, the plot is just for the night of the ball and events will proceed accordingly. be patient with us while we progress with things!
