frequently asked questions.

1. What are the roles that can be played in the court?
a. The Court members that are invited and are not Royal or the Army General will be other faes who hold high positions and sometimes even staff members of the house. This includes other relatives, sons and daughters of officials, ministers or priests, as well as butlers, eunuchs, ladies in waiting, etc. To check if the desired job of your faceclaim is available, please do let an admin know and we will get back to you soon. Please remember that all roles are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

2. Why do we not allow any other races within a House or Court? Why do we allow only a certain type of muse for them?
a. This is only for the sake of world-building. As an example, if the heir of the Autumn Court is a Korean or Asian faceclaims, it does not make for his siblings or parents or relatives to be of other nationalities. We would like to keep it consistent that way.

3. Can my character be 778 years old if this is a fae lore?
a. No. the characters in this world age just like humans do; they grow old, they get wrinkles, they die, the whole thing. They are only Faes due to the powers and affinity for magic and the elements, but other than that, they age just as humans do.

4. Are there any limitations to the powers we have here?
a. Your powers are limited to what is mentioned in the page linked here. You are free to work this in any way you'd like into your character but we will absolutely NOT condone any sort of metagaming and power advantage.

5. Can I request for rooms and places of my own here?
a. No, not for now. As we've mentioned in the description of the roleplay, we have a specific setting and plot that will require us to simply be in one area generally which is the Winter Court. We also have to keep in mind that the life expectancy for this roleplay is no more than a month or two, depending on us admins so it will not be fair to give you rooms and then close in a short while altogether.

However, if you deem that the Winter Court can do with a room specific to it that can be used by everyone if needed, do let us know.

6. What is the setting of this roleplay?
a. The roleplay is set during modern times with nuances like architecture, aesthetics, etc. being medieval.

7. Is there access to technology and if so, how?
a. Electricity and technology are prevalent everywhere. It started with the Autumn Court wanting to enhance their education system and when magic was not enough, they turned to what they knew best to help themselves do it: books. In this way, the Autumn Court has helped and still helps the entirety of Avalon to progress. What once started with magic began morphing with science, thus partnering with other courts to help them when and where needed.

8. How far are the Courts away from each other? And how does one travel from one bit of the kingdom to the other?
a. WIP.
