about the roleplay

In 2010, the United Nations finally took global warming seriously, but it was already too late. By 2020, Earth has been deemed too toxic for the human population to continue living there. It was then that it was revealed that secret space missions had been conducted over the last decade, leading to the discovery of a new galaxy bustling with all kinds of life. Humans fled a dying Earth in batches, with the last leaving Earth completely abandoned by 2030.
Are you a survivor, a pioneer, a rebel, or simply trying to live your life as calm and normal as possible?
It's been 100 years since the last humans left Earth and settled in life in the Xenari galaxy. But everything isn't all sunshine and paradise. Tensions continue to rise between the Earthborn, yearning for their lost home, and those who have both embraced and welcomed their new reality. Throw in rogue androids, smugglers, criminals, individuals capable of wielding the raw energy of the galaxy for both creation and destruction, and corrupted politicians.
The fate of the galaxy hangs in a precarious balance, which side will you choose?

general rules

we accept new accounts, however, if it's found that you're using alt accounts to hog characters, you will be removed and banned.

Reservations last 48 hours. you get one 48-hour extension upon request before your reservation is cleared.

we reserve the right to reject your application and/or remove you from the roleplay if you do not abide by our rules.

this is not a rated roleplay, however due to the nature of the roleplay, there will be mature content and themes. As such, we only accept muns, characters and faceclaims that are of the age 20 and above.

we accept characters and faceclaims of all nationalities, ethnicities, orientations and identities. we simply ask that you remain respectful of the communities and cultures you decide to represent through your characters.

we also allow the representation of any health condition including mental health, mental and physical injuries or disabilities, or any other medical conditions. we again ask that you remain respectful and do your research. you must also provide ooc disclosure and properly label your profiles.

banned faceclaims include those that are under the age of 20, are deceased, have asked to not be roleplayed, have committed or are under investigation for serious crimes, or cannot have their ages verified by a reliable source. please research or ask an admin if you're unsure if your muse falls under any of these categories.

ooc drama will not be tolerated. if a problem arises we expect you to resolve it privately with an admin mediator if needed.

ic drama is allowed and encouraged, especially with opposing factions. however, all drama must be plotted and consented with all parties involved. do not mix ic and ooc. we expect everyone to properly distinguish between the faceclaim, the character, and the mun.

nsfw content cannot be roleplayed in nonrated rooms, however mature and triggering content is allowed as long as it is properly labeled.

this roleplay is meant to be a safe and comfortable space for everyone, if you feel uncomfortable for any reason, use the safeword "elysian" and the topic must cease and change.

we understand that a certain amount of bubble rping, whether for ic or ooc reasons, is unfortunately inevitable. however, we still ask that you all remain civil and respectful especially in the ooc rooms.

Pregnancy, adoption, surrogacy, and children are allowed with ooc consent from all parties involved. all babies and children will always be npcs. pregnancy lasts for 3 months ooc. due to the nature of the roleplay, we tentatively allow mpreg.

This roleplay utilizes a 1 warning, 2 strike system. Warnings and strikes will be sent privately to the offender with full details of any infractions. Deleting these messages will result in immediate removal from the roleplay and blacklisting. If you receive a warning for an infraction, the continued offense will result in a strike. A second strike for any reason will result in removal from the roleplay and blacklisting. Warnings about hiatuses and inactivity do not count towards this system.
activity rules
001
as we are mainly self-paced, inactivity is set to 21 days. you will have 48 hours from one inactivity warning before your character will be deactivated.

any character with no posts after a month of being accepted will be removed without warning.

a basic profile is expected within the first 3 days of joining the roleplay. your application will be pasted into your profile and will count as your basic profile. however, we do encourage expanding on the character and having a complete profile within your first two weeks of joining.

roleplayers must have at least 2 threads in the plotting stage within the first week of joining. to pass the activity requirement, we ask that you have at least one thread going within your first two weeks.

a semi-hiatus lasts for 28 days, a full hiatus lasts for 42 days. you are allowed only one extension. after your hiatus ends, if you've gone inactive, you will have the normal 48 hours to get active again before being removed.

if you're leaving the roleplay, please pm xenbot with your reason for your departure. you can be as detailed or as vague as you'd like, but this is to help us continue to grow and improve as an admin team and a roleplay community.
