@kim minseok "Thank you hyung~ you're the best!" Howon hugged him from behind. "Hm? Apartment? I never thought of that hyung..." He mummbled.
He let go of him and took his jacket off. "Are you closing down soon hyung? Let's go to your house! I haven't seen it for a long time!" Howon used to go there often when he didn't have any works, but since he's busy with works,he rarely met with minseok.
@lee howon "I don't want your money, Howon. I want to pay everything myself." Minseok explained calmly and wrapped his fingers around the cup before he went into the back of the coffee shop briefly to place the dirty cup in the sink as he left Howon alone. Then, he appeared again and smiled at his best friend as he shook his head. "No problem. Hyung will lend you a bed so you could sleep tonight." The barista snorted at the latter's words and made his way towards the door, flipping the board as it indicated the shop was closed for today. "That must be quite... annoying. But, since you have enough money, you can buy yourself an apartment and whenever you feel tired being around these girls of yours, you could stay the night over there."
@kim minseok Howon snorted "please,I will buy it for you Minseok ah.. Well, the money that you recieve for selling organs are quite a bunch one allright?" He finished his latte as well.
He put the empty cup in front of Minseok. "Your latte always taste the best Minseok." Howon complimented.
Howon hasn't tasted Minseok latte for a long time. He missed having his latte at evening. He looked at his wrist watch.
"Can I sleep in your house tonight? If not,i'll be dead by then.. I have like... 5 girls who asked for my companion. And if i f.uck all of them, gosh, i don't want again." He got a goosebum, remembered everything clearly when he couldn't sleep for 2 days because of those girls.
@lee howon "I don't care about people. They can judge me all they want but they shouldn't complain when one day they notice their organs went missing." Minseok chuckled to himself, his eyes twinkling of evilness. "Even though it would be too late to notice since they are probably dead by then~" The barista hummed as he talked about this topic like it was the normaliest thing ever. Howon knew about Minseok's activities and he didn't feel creeped out by his best friend. Lifting his shoulders, the petite boy rearranged the cups before he batted his eyelashes at Howon's sudden question. He looked up to meet the other's eyes and slightly tilted his head to the side, pursing his lips in thoughts. "I think the coffee shop is perfect the way it is. Plus, I don't have enough money to buy a bigger coffee shop."
@kim minseok "It is because you asked me!" Howon defended as Minseok retorted back.
He was going to eat his cake when Minseok flicked his forehead. "Yah! At least remember how strong you are.." He rubbed his forehead. "Pabo..." He muttered.
"Eventhough I know you are that, still,I don't like the way people judge you. Beside, you sell organs darling." He talked back.
He finished his cake and sipped on his latte. His eyes scanned the cafe that Minseok brought a long time ago. He should be just a simple owner but he prefered to be a barista and worked in his own cafe.
"Do you want to have a bigger one? I think this place is quite small.." Howon offered.
@lee howon Meanwhile Howon was talking about a certain girl in his kingdom, the cute boy took a humid cloth from the sink and started cleaning the counter as he patiently listened to his best friend. Then, he raised an eyebrow in interest at the young man's words. "If you didn't like the girl you would have never started talking about her just now." Minseok chuckled to himself and gently flickered Howon's forehead before he finished cleaning the counter and placed the cloth back in the sink. "Oh, really?" He snorted, placing his hands on his lips as he eyed the young male in front of him. "Maybe I should find a boy instead because they will happily devour my food without worrying to be fat. Plus, I'm bi_____."
@kim minseok "Me?" He asked as Minseok pointed his finger to him.
He thought for a while before he looked at Minseok's eyes. "There's a girl in my mansion... I never laid a finger on her." He knew that minseok would laugh because of this. All the girls in his kingdom have slept with him except her,Im Jinah.
"She's the star in my kingdom. I'm not saying that i like her okay?" He denied. "I just find her attractive. That's all." He added.
He devoured his foods again and his eyes landed on the displaid cake.
"Minseok ah, you better not find a girl." He teased. "Or else, you'll get divorce immadiately for making your wife fat." He chuckled.
@lee howon "I know." Minseok snorted, rolling his eyes as he smiled and propped his elbows on the hard surface of the counter, watching his best friend devour the food. The small barista knew Howon needed him the most since he was quite lonely in his kingdom so Minseok felt like it was his job to take care of his dearest dongsaeng. "Hm? Me? Having a girl?" He blinked confusedly and pointed his finger at himself. He didn't understand why Hoya thought he had a girlfriend just because Minseok was feeling happier nowadays. "No, I don't. Do you?"
@kim minseok "Seriously dude? I'm straight okay?" Howon made a face before he took a spoonful of the cake.
He hasn't eaten properly since some days ago. Well said, Yeah, He always ended up calling for Minseok everytime he's hungry and Minseok always came eventhough it was in the middle of the night. Howon just simply greatful about this guy.
*What good things have I done to deserve such a good friend like him?* He thought as he stared Minseok who was roasting the coffee beans.
"Minseok ah,do you have a girl?" He didn't know why but he was always overprotective over his best friend. "You seems hapy nowadays." He reasoned.
@lee howon Minseok laughed in delight at Howon's words, finding it quite amusing as he saw him take several pictures of the cake. "Are you joking again? Because I really can't live without my best friend." The pastry chef pretended to be serious as he looked at the younger male, but he failed miserably once he bursted into loud giggles. "I am already your personal chef, Hoya! You always call me in the middle of the night and ask me to prepare food for you.. And that happened yesterday!" The boy snorted and raised an eyebrow in amusement as his best friend came up with a new offer. Noticing the smirk plastered on Howon's face, the pastry chef clicked his tongue. "I prefer being your own personal host. I bet I would gain 1000 times my salary."
@kim minseok "It's your creation Minseok. Of course i'll have to take a picture of it. It's precious!" He squaled like a high school girl.
He took another picture as the cake placed beside his latte. "Seriously,I can't live without you baby." He joked and .
He tasted his cake and smile widely to him. "Daebak! I'll pay you 100 times more than your current salary if you become my personal chef Minseok ah." He offered him his usual weird offering. "500 times your current salary if you want to become the host in my mansion.." He slyly smirked.
Howon knew that a man like Minseok would attract more and more girl client. Jinah and minseok would be perfect to make his kingdom became bigger and bigger. Despite of all business thought that he has,he would never accepted Minseok in his kingdom. He didn't want Minseok to be like him.
@kim hyoyeon Tying the knot of his apron behind his waist, Minseok walked back behind the counter and took a humid cloth, cleaning the wooden surface thoroughly. The pastry chef was busily humming a random song but got interrupted when he heard a familiar voice. "Huh?" He looked up, blinking as he saw the same customer but this time holding a thin knife between her fingers. "G-Give that back to me!" The boy snapped and quickly took the scalpel out of her hand, quite impolite but Minseok didn't notice nor care at that moment because the only thing he could think of was that the other touched his most precious thing.
@kim minseok Gently taking the cupcake from his hand, she smiled at him. He looked cute all out of breath like that, cuter than before. Nodding her head, she bit into the cupcake and found her eyes widening. It was so good! Normally she only got a chocolate cupcake, but this was a very good change. Turning, she felt her shoe brush against something on the floor, causing her to look down. It was a scalpel, one with Hello Kitty on it. Bending to pick it up, she looked at it for a moment before looking to the pastry chef. "Um, did you drop this?" She asked as she walked over to him, the scalpel held out to him.
@kim hyoyeon Minseok huffed once he approached the woman and held a cupcake in front of her. "T-This is for you!" The pastry chef beamed happily, handing the delicious pastry to the customer before he clasped his hands together. "This is my newest creation! Please try it and tell me what you think, okay? Have a good day!" He bowed deeply and turned around but little did he know that his hello kitty scalpel fell to the ground.
@kim minseok "Your very welcome." She replied happily, the mans cheery attitude making her feel happy as she took the bag and walked towards the entrance. Before walking out of the shop, she heard him calling for her loudly. Turning around, she saw him coming towards her quickly, something clutched in his hands. "Yes?" She asked, her head tilting to one side.
@kim hyoyeon "Thank you!" Minseok smiled politely, putting the bills in the cash register before he handed the blonde woman the paper bag. When she was about to turn around to walk towards the door, the pastry chef emitted a soft gasp as he covered his cheeks with his small hands. "Miss! Wait!" He squeaked, then he grabbed something from behind the counter and took rapid steps towards the customer.
@kim minseok The blonde female couldn't help but laugh at at his joke. He sure had a better sense of humor than the usual counter worker. She nodded her head, her smile never leaving . "You should see me eat at dinner." She responded playfully, following his lead in jokes as she took her wallet out. Pulling out the money needed, she handed him the bills, waiting for him to finish ringing her up. "Here ya go."
@kim hyoyeon The pastry chef simply nodded his head with a smile lingering on his lips at the young woman's request, then, he took a pastel blue paper bag to place the foods in it. "Someone seems very hungry today~" Minseok joked, his eyes twinkling in humor before he placed the paper bag on the counter and pressed some numbers on the cash register, indicating the amount of money the customer must pay for the pastries. "That would be ₩10.000, please." Minseok pursed his lips subconsciously, patiently waiting for the young woman to hand him the money.
@kim minseok Looking up from her phone, Hyoyeon was meet this the unfamiliar male with cute cheeks. She resisted the urge to reach out and pinch them lightly, not wanting to come off as weird to the stranger. Putting her phone in her pocket, she looked back to him and smiled, her head tilting a little. Figuring he was either new or not a regular counter worker, she decided to just tell him what it was she normally got. "Hello, um yes, I'd like to buy something." She said sweetly, walking up to stand in front of the counter. "Can I have 3 croissants, 2 eclairs, a mini chocolate cupcake...and a small loaf of bread?" She asked, unsure as to why she added bread to her order.
@kim hyoyeon Minseok was rearranging the cupcakes for the nth time today as he stood behind the counter while he hummed a soft tune. His delicate fingers holding the cupcake from the bottom, careful not to touch the chocolate icing before the pastry chef/barista looked up when the familiar bell rang. "Oh! Hello, miss. Is there something you would like to eat?" The small boy asked cheerfully, not recognizing the young woman because it's the first time he started attending customers in the bakery since he was the pastry chef who baked the pastries at five am in the morning, not the employer who happened to be sick this week.
@kim minseok Hyoyeon absolutely loved pastries. Ever since she was a child, she had a sweet tooth, helping her dear old grandmother bake little cakes and cupcakes for fun. As she grew, her love for sugary things grew with her, causing her to find this bakery near her dancing school where she would purchase all sorts of sweets that would last for the week. She'd even buy some for her students as rewards for doing well, but only every once in a while since she didn't want them to get fat and loose their dancing figures.
Walking through the glass door to the bakery, the familiar sound of the bell notifying workers that there was another customer, she walked up to the counter happily, not needing to place her order since they already knew her regular requests: 3 croissants, 2 eclairs, 4 cinnamon buns, and a mini chocolate cupcake for the walk home. Oh yeah, she always danced hard to work off what she ate. Waiting, she pulled out her phone, texting one of her friends.
@lee howon The pastry chef chuckled to himself as he heard the younger man's words before he placed the strawberry cheesecake on a small plate and set the exquisite cake in front of him on the counter. "Why are you taking pictures of your coffee, Hoya?" Minseok raised an eyebrow at his best friend's weird behavior but shrugged it off eventually, then he grabbed a napkin and handed it to Howon. "You're just like these annoying school girls who come here after school and take selfies with their food." He snorted, pinching his donsaeng's cheek.
@kim minseok Howon was not really busy with his work nowadays, and he decided to pay his best friend,Kim Minseok a little visit at his bakery. Thank God, no one was there at the moment. He sat in front of the barista counter.
"Minseok ah, I want a latte." He ordered.
Without a second thought,Minseok made him the latte.
"You're very lucky to have a best friend who is a pastry chef and a barista, Hoya. Because there are barely any bakers in the city who want to serve coffee in their bakeries." He said while making the latte for him.
Howon smelt it when the latte in front of him.
"Minseok Jjang!" He put his thumbs up to complimented him.
He was totally glad to have Minseok by his side. His bestfriend, the one who knew about everything. A person where he could be himslef, not Howon who has a lot of facade. Just Lee Howon, as a 22 years old man.
"Would you like something to eat, too? I recently made strawberry cheesecakes." He asked.
Howon pouted a bit. "Yah.. you know I don't like strawberry. But i'll try since you made it." He beamed while taking pictures of his art latte.
@lee howon Minseok poured the milk foam in the cup, he then opened a drawer from behind the counter and took a thin piece of metal as he examined the pin carefully to see if it was thin enough to create his latte art. "You're very lucky to have a best friend who is a pastry chef and a barista, Hoya. Because there are barely any bakers in the city who want to serve coffee in their bakeries." The pastry chef hummed as he dipped the tip of the pin in the warm liquid and dragged the melting chocolate over the foamed milk. "Would you like something to eat, too? I recently made strawberry cheesecakes."
