@mayu watanabe "You know.. if you're not comfortable with riding on the carousel, you can always just stand outside where the other adults are and pretend to be watching. After all, I've seen couples do that in amusement parks. Furthermore, isn't that what we're supposed to act as?" She said before turning and climbing onto the horse. Kwangmin looked at her and sighed, "Didn't you got enough of the director's attitude? I would likely go throwing up than having him shouting at me," He said as he looked at the side where the director was, "And no one tells me what to do."
Kwangmin sat on the horse beside Mayu's and inhaled, "Roll it!" the director screamed and the carousel started. He looked at Mayu exhaled, opens her eyes and smiles brightly at the camera. Kwangmin got shocked at how Mayu overcome the ride and change. "I wish I could be like that."
As the carousel continued spinning, Kwangmin just keep on looking at Mayu as he felt himself getting weak. "It's really hard to breath and I think I'm gonna go down.." he thought as he took a tight grip of the handle in front of him, "Stay strong Kwangmin.. stay strong.." he closed his eyes.
@jo kwangmin [ I'm so sorry about the late reply. Was flooded with school work. ]
Mayu blinked at how quiet and seemingly cold he was towards her. /Does..he think of me as a rival?/ She wondered. /Well, no duh.. otherwise, he won't be so quiet and cold./ Her mind retorted with a scoff causing her eyebrows to furrow slightly before shrugging it off and caught up with the group upon realizing that she was left behind.
As Mayu approached the carousel, a simple thought came in mind. /I'm going to be sick../ Ever since she was little, she had never rode on carousels. Okay, maybe once or twice but it always ended up with her throwing up afterwards. She always got sick from the ride that just went round in circles. She had motion sickness, as one would call it. Her heart thumped hard against her ribs in anxiety as she was led to a white horse that had golden mane with blue detailing on it's saddle and reins. It's mane had painted on flowers on them. Just by looking at the ride made her feel sick already.
As Mayu hesitated about climbing onto the horse, she could feel the director's gaze boring through her head so what she did was to look at Kwangmin, her gaze questioning. "You know.. if you're not comfortable with riding on the carousel, you can always just stand outside where the other adults are and pretend to be watching. After all, I've seen couples do that in amusement parks. Furthermore, isn't that what we're supposed to act as?" She said before turning and climbing onto the horse.
"I'm so sorry.." She whispered to Kwangmin. "It's sorta my first time acting as a couple. I've acted with others but it's mostly just a scene with friends." She explained as they walked. "It's ok." Kwangmin said firmly.
He looked at the carousel, just by looking at it make him sick. "I don't wanna ride that.." he thought to himself and he stole a glimpse at the girl behind him, "Aish. just go with the act."
As the worker stopped the carousel, Kwangmin led Mayu to one of the horses. "damn, this ride makes me really, really sick," he thought again. The girl looked at him, as if asking if he would ride one of the horses too.
@jo kwangmin Mayu smiled and nodded at his little 'Fighting!' gesture which she returned with the same gesture. "Hwaiiting!" She grinned. A few minutes later, they were led to the site of the shoot where they were forced to act like a couple. Mayu, who obviously had never been in a relationship before felt awkward with this but in order to keep the feeling of the CF, she forced herself to initiate more skinship which was sadly ignored by the other.
"Cut!" The director exclaimed at them, "how would the audience expect a couple not being close on their date?? All I ask is some closeness and skinship!!" Mayu flinched at the director's loud voice. It was the first time anybody ever yelled at her because of her acting. "I'm sorry!" She bowed in apology. She was caught off-guard when Kwangmin suddenly held her hand and gave her some cotton candy.
However, before she could say anything, the director had praised the two so she couldn't say anything but to go on with the act. She took the cotton candy from him and looked as he pointed to the Ferris Wheel with a smile. Almost instantly, the inner child in her escaped again as she nodded excitedly.
She glanced at her manager using the corner of her eye, noticing that her manager was asking her to keep up with the act but she didn't know how to act like a couple. It was the first time she was asked to act with someone else. All these years that she's been a model, she's only acted with others as friends but not as a couple. When the director yelled 'Cut!', she let out a sigh of relief and allowed herself to be led over to the carousel.
"I'm so sorry.." She whispered to Kwangmin. "It's sorta my first time acting as a couple. I've acted with others but it's mostly just a scene with friends." She explained as they walked.
@mayu watanabe Kwangmin smiled at Mayu and nodded, "Ganbatte!~" he gestured the 'fighting' sign as he looked at her, and yet, remembered something that his manager said, 'She's a rival, don't think of her as a friend; never treat someone a friend.' Kwangmin nodded to the thought and they were led to the site. Kwangmin eyed Mayu as she greet everyone in the set. He used to be like thi"s too but the power of the entertainment was to heavy to handle.
"Cut!" The director exclaimed at them, "how would the audience expect a couple not being close on their date?? All I ask is some closeness and skinship!!" Kwangmin glared at him secretly for screaming that loud and making such a fuss. He looked at Mayu, sighing. Thinking about the situation, he held her hand and reached for some cotton candy at the side and give it to her, smiling.
"That's more like it! Take 2!!" The director sat back and watched.
@jo kwangmin It was Mayu's third time here in Seoul and yet here she was, staring out of the van's tinted glass windows in awe. "Oh look!" She called to her manager who was driving the car. "I see the Ferris Wheel!!" The eighteen-year-old girl squealed in excitement causing her manager to chuckle as she shook her head at the childish girl.
In half an hour's time, they reached Lotte World half-an-hour early. "We're here!" She cheered as she pushed open the van's door before climbing out of the van and walked towards the entrance of Lotte World maturely. "I like it!" She thought to herself in Japanese as she looked at the entrance. Now, everyone would think she was a normal teenage girl who had no contact whatsoever with the entertainment world but boy were they wrong. She was a model, a famous one at that and the reason she was even in Lotte World was because she had to shoot a CF with another model , Jo- something. She couldn't really remember.
"C'mon." Her manager called as she handed her an express pass to the amusement park. After that, they walked towards a group of people with lights and camera surrounding them. As they approached them, Mayu, with a big smile on her face bowed and introduced herself to the director as well as the casts and staff.
"Hello! I'm Mayu Watanabe." She smiled at them as the director nodded, pleased with her behavior.
"I'm your director, Director Kim and that is your co-worker, Jo Kwangmin." The director told her, gesturing towards a tall boy as Mayu nodded. "You should go get ready." He said and Mayu nodded once more before walking towards the make-up artists who immediately pounced on her to get her ready for the shoot.
A few minutes later, they were done with the make-up and Mayu turned to look at the tall male who was beside her. "Hello.. Let's work well together!" She said in slightly broken Korean.
