West Territory

@α Min Yoongi Amber shook her head at the other's admonition of rank, "this is your territory so, by the code I am required to offer any alpha of the territory access to my kill" the words were bitter in but she did not break the code, that was not her way. Hunger still gnawed at her stomach but she was ignoring it, successfully for now.
Despite the strong aura the wolf put off he wasn't controlling his pack, they moved restlessly behind him obviously more interested in the kill than he was. Amber found this very strange. If they did not respect him out of rank should they not respect him out of fear?
Amber bobbed her head happily at the other wolf's acceptance of her offer. But then he did something weird, he sat, resting his head on his paws allowing the other three in his pack to approach the deer. How dare they! she thought.

Jumping up from her seated position on the other side of the deer she launched herself onto its flank snarling at the approaching beta's and omega. "How dare you disrespect your alpha like this!" she hissed at the wolves and they froze "Where is your sense of order!" she looked truly menacing, amber eyes glowing angrily hackles raised ears laid flat against her skull. The wolves began to back away, cowering slightly in fear. They looked to their alpha. "you're just going to let them walk all over your rights as an alpha like this?" she asked him eyes narrowed head tilted to the side in question.

@α Amber Liu Yoongi had to stop mid turn just to hear what this wolf had on her mind. He really wasn't planning on eating any of that meat that he couldn't catch on his own, so there was no real point of arguing. It's like a policy for a company. The boss should reside behind his laws, though not all employees were so adamant about such rules. His pack was practically seeping out from behind him at the offer of sharing the meal. Yoongi didn't get this one exactly. "Well, it's not like I'm in any higher position than you." His voice was a little smaller, wondering why exactly the female was being so kind towards them. Respect wasn't something a lot of people held out there, and Yoongi knew his own pack didn't really respect them either. They were following after him in fear if at all, and today was no different. They were just looking at the food in front of them without thinking about who really worked to catch it; this wolf before them. Either way, Yoongi listened to the end of the female's explanation for offering up part of her meal. Yoongi himself must have been displaying quite the image, for on regular days he was just the average in the bunch, if not worse. Scratch that. Yoongi was ten times more of an than other wolves. It's just that he had morals behind him as well. He was that quote on quote 'good guy.' Yes, he yelled and fought with people when he got mad, but he knew what was right and wrong, even if he couldn't always fix these so-called 'wrong' things.

Once the female sat by her kill, Yoongi mentally sighed. It was obvious he wasn't getting out of this one, considering that most of his pack was tiptoeing out from behind his form. "Alright." It was a simple word that gave the other happy wolves racing out from behind him a go sign. While they all sat with watering tongues just from the sight and smell of the deer, Yoongi rested a bit farther off, like he was waiting for his kids to finish so they could go home. Yoongi was plenty tired after all. They'd been chasing that deer for long, and the alpha himself was in the mood to sleep the rest of his day away. Resting his chin down on his arms, the black wolf lay with shut eyes, though his ears were still actively listening up in case anything off happened. It was very much true that Yoongi's fellow pack members were a huge reason for his disdain at almost all times; people were just ing irritating. And Yoongi wasn't the best at dealing with those people is all. The only person he really never got riled up with was his sister or young children since they were innocent and usually entertaining. Even if he did get a little sour around them, it was all playful there. Here, the people were just literal idiots and it irritated him to no end.

"Wait," she called as the other alpha turned to leave. Her pride stung from his tip, he must have thought her a novice. "Thank you for your generosity, but the deer is too big for just me and I hate to let good food go to waste." It was only right she offer as it was his territory "share it with me?" she paused "Out of respect I can't just eat and leave the rest for carrion" her Amber eyes no longer held any trace of fear only pride in her kill she had straightened up, black and white grey ears pricked forward head held high. "I would never have come this far for food normally but there has been an increase in hunters in my territory." she paused again shifting on her feet. "more hunters equals no food and...more risk" she said letting her voice fade over the last statement.

Trotting slowly around to the other side of the deer she sat, waiting to see what the other wolfs reaction would be. Secretly hoping he would decide to stay. The dynamics of the pack in front of her were weird; the more she studied them the stranger it got. Clearly the wolves who had followed the alpha were under his command but they seemed restless and he seemed pissed off. He wore his dissatisfaction and annoyance like a blanket.

@α Amber Liu To see this female wolf backing down so easily... It did not gain her any favors in Yoongi's book. The wolf inspected her, seeing that she at least had courage to face him head on when she came close. It's not like he was going to take the food, he just figured the other would run away by now and have her meal. It was then that the female backed away, causing some confusion for the alpha. Ah, she caught sight of his pack. If the alpha could purse his lips like he always did in human form when he was dissatisfied, he would. More than the explanation this western wolf gave him, Yoongi was more upset by the omega peeking out from behind him. Instead of smacking this guy away, the large black wolf continued to face the female...alpha? From the way she smelled he could determine it. After taking a few steps forward to close the distance that had been created, Yoongi moved his paw out to roll the deer back towards the wolf that was foreign to his dark eyes. "It's your kill. We might have been tracking it, but you killed it. Don't back down so easily if you're an alpha." It actually annoyed the male to see such a flimsy alpha. He expected them to be strong, tactful in their ways at times, though many disappointed him in that aspect.

Seeing the wind pick up to show this alpha's rib bones only made Yoongi more adamant in his decision. He wasn't a starved pup that would complain about missing dinner. There was always tomorrow to catch something, or on the trip back. "But word of advice. There's no point in tracking food out this far. You'll just use all your energy getting it, and then you'll be just as tired once you get back to your territory." Now that his two cents were out, the wolf was already prepared to return back to the base of their territory at this point. There was no point in waiting to see if the other alpha took this deer since Yoongi had no concern for where it went. Well, besides that he didn't want to take something someone else killed. He worked for his food, and he wished he could say the same for all the other pack members who were fine with taking shortcuts and whatnot.

@α Min Yoongi She saw the first wolf emerge from the woods just beyond where she had taken down the deer, it's lifeless body beneath her feet. He was large, signifying alpha status and she knew she wasn't in her own territory. She stood, jumping down to the forest floor towards the approaching alpha, fur on the back of her neck bristling ears laid flat, hackles rising in defense of her kill. She would share if she had to, she thought but she decided not to let all of her effort go to waste on this unknown wolf.

Moments later she watched in horrified disbelief as four more wolves appeared between the trees, forming a semi-circle behind their alpha.

Well, . Thought Amber as she realized that this meal would not be hers. She lowered her head in submission and began to back away, "I'm sorry for hunting on your territory, you can have the deer, I tracked it from the western boarder, I thought it would loop back..." she knew it was a poor excuse and she shouldn't have killed the deer but she was just so damn hungry it was the first prey animal she had found all day.

The western territory had become overrun with hunters in the past weeks leaving Amber and her pack without food and in constant danger of discovery and extermination. They had already lost two betas and an omega to the hunters and she was desperate. She began to back away as she was outnumbered and outmatched. Too tired and hungry to fight. At that moment the wind picked up ruffling her thick black fur and exposing the ribs that had become so prominent on her thin body.

@α Amber Liu “We’re heading West; you better know what you’re doing Yoongi.” Said wolf was rolling his eyes since the other wolves would probably be getting a piece of /his/ meal. It was just plain annoying that his pack was tagging along since they didn’t even believe the prey was nearby at first. For now, the wolves moved Southwest. The scent was becoming stronger to Yoongi, and all the other wolves had caught a whiff of it by now. The pack fell silent, thankfully. Why couldn’t this happen more often?! Oh well, as long as they would all get something to eat today. Ah, there it is. Complete silence fell due to the sight of this deer. Slowly… Slow, soft steps… The wolves curled down to attack, and that’s when Yoongi’s mouth hung wide open. Who was this other wolf going after this deer?! Watching sourly, Yoongi waited until the female wolf had finished up before walking out with that same upset face on. With others coming out of their locations as well, it looked more like a gang that would beat the female for their dinner, though the lead alpha would never allow that.
