Yixing let out a deep breath and looked at his surroundings. The smell of trees and the earth had somehow calmed him. It had only been a few days since he came to this place. He needed a change from the city but he didn't count the fact that being far away from the crowded places would put him in a state where he was almost to the point of panicking. He didn't think that the sudden change would have him acting like this. Yixing truthfully loved the change of scenery. It's just that he didn't expect it would have him skittish over the smallest sounds.
@✦ junmyeon /watches you a little bit confused
So...
I-If I change forms or um, go to s-sleep, y-you won't try to eat me?
/purses my lips, tilting my head
@✦ yixing /blinks and shakes my head/
what can i do?
/he furrowed his brows and thought about it but gave up after finding nothing/
/shrugs/
i got nothing
/puts the umbrella down and pulls the raincoat off/
@✦ yixing /nods/
hold on
/walks away and comes back with a two raincoats/
/gives you one and gets an umbrella/
/puts mine on and waits for you to put yours on/
i can either walk you back or you can stay here until it stops
@✦ junmyeon I-I know but i have t-to nap soon and--
/struggles slightly with the door
/huffs frustrated, stomping my foot
a-and you're a wolf and I-I'm a sheep s-so I have to go.
@✦ junmyeon /walks backwards away from you slowly
/nods a little, fiddling with my fingers
I-I was f-following the ants and.. I um, e-ended up h-here and--
/trails off, eyeing your ears and tail nervously
W-What are you...?
@✦ yixing /blinks repeatedly and walks over to the window/
/presses my face against it and huffs/
/turns back to you and stares at you curiously/
are you lost?
/tilts my head/
@✦ junmyeon /presses my hands and nose against the window
/watches quietly as the raindrops start to fall
/screams and whips around quickly when you speak, eyes wide
@✦ yixing /quietly steps out from under the blanket and stretches/
/walks behind you with quiet steps/
/watches you with curious gaze/
hello~
/says in soft still sleepy voice/
@✦ junmyeon ...Hello?
/mumbles, shutting the door behind me
/pouts a little, walking about
No one here...
/sighs and sits by the window, staring outside
And it's going to rain soon too...
@✦ yixing /snuggles under the covers in my couch because i fell asleep there/
/ear twitches hearing a voice and opening my eyes/
/lazily peeks from under the blanket staring at a figure/
/stays hidden under it while watching you/
@✦ junmyeon /hums softly to myself, keeping my eyes locked on my feet
/trails after the line of ants, being careful not to step on any
/absent-mindedly passes through the trees, only realising after a moment or two
/frowns a little when I don't recognise anything
Oh...
/wanders about aimlessly, stumbling across a cabin
H-Hello?
Anyone home?
/asks softly, pushing the door open
@✦ kris Yifan didn't waste time as he heard the branch crack - within seconds, his human form stood below the thin branch, and his body was poised to move, and muscles tense. "H-Hang in there okay?" He managed before there was another creak of the branch. He watched the branch and the kitten, ready to move and catch the little creature as soon as he fell within reach.
@✦ yifan Kris sank his claws into the branch and shook his head, laying low on the branch. He heard a loud crack as the thin branch started to break, and he cried out, tucking his head down into the branch with terrified little mewls.
@✦ kris Yifan watched as the kit scampered up the tree and curiously tilted his head as he looked up, his gaze following the smaller creature's retreating form. Then again, it was hard to miss with the branch shaking the way it was with the feline's trembling form. Then, the coyote's ears perked up again at the sound of the kitten's soft calls of terror, and the canine couldn't help but feel a bit guilty - "Hey... Come down here - I mean no harm," and as sketchy as it sounded, he truly meant no harm.
@✦ yifan Kris sniffed the air and glanced back, his eyes wide and every hair on his tiny body standing completely on end as he looked at the coyote before running full force for the closest tree, scrambling up as fast as he could and scrambling onto a branch, shaking so hard the leaves were falling off. He let out soft cries, convinced he was going to die there from starvation, the fall, or the coyote. He was toast, definitely, and he knew it.
