@Viper Wonder boy, huh. Not exactly his alias of choice, but he'd roll with it. He dialed and waited, waving goodbye to her and blowing a puff of air out as he figured how he'd go about explaining this to the authorities.
@Mechanism She was already backing away the moment he pulled out his cell. "I'm outta here, thanks wonder boy." she pulled her headphones back on, heading back the direction she came. Even if she didn't want to, it was probably best to lay low, at least until later that night.
@Viper Alright, so she was feisty. Which was cool, but he had moral issue with the situation, so he pulled out his phone anyway. "I'll tell them what's up when they get here," he offered, "if you want to make a break for it." She'd be safe, and he wouldn't blame her for wanting to bounce.
@Mechanism "Why not?" she asked, genuinely curious. They would wake up soon enough, and these type of guys wouldn't report getting beat up. But if he did call the cops Kat was gone. No way was she getting put in a tiny room while they asked her questions, again. She nudged the closest thug with her toe, causing him to groan. "I'm not bothered."
@Viper "I won't deny that after seeing how you handled him." He nodded toward the KO'd guy and grinned slightly. Darion stumbled after a pause. "Do you want me to call this in?" Someone should get the authorities out here, and he was more than willing to if she would rather detach herself from the situation. "You can hang around if you want, but it's not like we can just leave a few unconscious guys lying around, know what I mean?" He couldn't help laughing just a little.
@Mechanism She shrugged and tossed the branch aside. "Thanks." she walked over to him, looking at the various groaning men laying on the ground. "You're not so bad yourself. But I could have handled it." The whole experience was new territory, this was the first time anyone had ever helped her (she refused to think of it as saving). In her experience, people didn't help you if they thought you were in trouble. They just ignored it and her, till they both went away. She crossed her arms and eyed him, damn he was cute.
@Viper A swift kick to the gut had croney number one incapacitated, and Darion turned back to see how the girl was faring. Fine, apparently. He glanced from the man on the ground to the branch in her hand then to her. "I see you have no problem in a fight," he remarked. "Resourceful." But damn, she must've swung hard.
@Mechanism Kat stepped back out of the way as he went after her attacker. She didn't get very far, her back hitting the chest of the last thug standing. Using Darion's moment of focus on the other guy she whirled around and backhanded the man. He dropped to the ground, out cold. Moving fast she picked up a tree branch, not to big, but big enough that it was plausible that she could have knocked a guy out with it. She stood over the man, looking like she really had hit the guy.
@Viper Darion wasted no time grabbing one thug and throwing him against the nearest tree. It didn't count as a punch and the guy was sufficiently discombobulated and out of the way, which left an opening for him to grab Mister Womanizer over there. This one he punched right in the jaw and sent him sprawling. Dude deserved it, the worm.
@Mechanism There was no way Kat could get away with taking these es out. Golden boy over there would see everything. So she stayed on the defensive and moved out of the way when the guy swung. He seemed shocked that he missed her, but quickly got over it. Kat clenched her teeth in annoyance, pretending to not be able to fight was irritating, but people knowing how strong she was worse, so she continued evading the guy.
@Viper Darion tensed in anticipation. He wouldn't be the first one to throw a punch, but he wouldn't be the first to take one either. One eye on the two guys closing in on him and one on the other altercation, he took a slight defensive stance and hovered in anticipation, waiting to react.
@Mechanism Well if he was gonna look like that Kat figured he could stick around as long as he wanted. She didn't let on though, she was still annoyed by all the posturing that was going on. Mr. Talkative made a gesture, dropping the faux friendliness. "Man, get rid of this guy. Imma teach this a few things about respect." Kat lifted her head, daring him to take a swing at her. Two of his guys moved toward Darion, ready for a fight.
"Well now I'll never go to a party with you." she quipped, tensing as she waited for him to swing at her.
@Viper It wasn't like he didn't think she was capable. It wasn't like he saw her as some weak little damsel in distress and himself as the inflated hero. But Darion couldn't bring himself to leave the situation alone. He felt such a strong obligation to, at the very least, stick around long enough to make sure it could be handled.
So he acknowledged her words long enough to make it clear he understood, took two steps back and fixed their head honcho with an intimidating glare. "You gonna give me a reason to stick around, tough guy?" he said lowly, flexing just a little bit to make his intentions clear.
@Mechanism Kat wasn't much for sighing, but she sighed the moment she heard the newcomers voice. She sighed even harder when she saw who it was. Of course it was him. Friggin' golden child Darion. She crossed her arms, now officially mad at all the people around her. Before she could speak, the one who had been doing all the talking before spoke up. "No problem, cuz. We were just tryna get to know the girl, maybe take her out wit us."
Kat's insides twisted and she finally retaliated. "Hey, . I don't wanna get to know you and I don't wanna go to no party. You-" she turned to the wannabe savior. "get lost, I can handle these guys myself." Even as she said it she knew he wouldn't leave. He probably saw some helpless girl, to skinny to throw a decent punch. All the guys, even the shortest one, had a good six inches on her, at the least.
@Viper Once he saw a loose formation, he had to step in. "Is there a problem?" he said sternly, placing a hand flat on the chest of one of the men before he could take another step. Darion had a good few inches on the guy. He could intimidate him. A heavy glance around to the rest of the group stopped them as well.
@Mechanism "What's your name, girl?" The man grinned down at her, not letting go of her arm.
Kat stepped back, pulling her arm out of his grasp. The rest of the group had circled around her, blocking her escape. "None of your business." she almost snapped, looking suspiciously at the group. She knew these kinds of people, they never took no for an answer.
The man laughed and grabbed for her again, but she stepped back, her lip curling.
"Come on, baby. Don't be like that. We just wanna show you a good time." he grinned at his friends, obviously sharing an inside joke with them. "We were bout to hit up this party, you interested?"
Kat shook her head and turned away. "Not at all, if you couldn't tell; I'm not interested." The men were standing in a loose circle, which meant she could run, but they might chase her. She glanced around the slowly darkening park, if only it was emptier, she could just get rid of these lowlifes. No one would miss them, probably.
@Viper Football practice was over and Darion was headed through the park, taking a short cut home so he could make it in time for dinner. This year was rough on him, what with college exams and now that new secret extracurricular that took up large amounts of his sleep schedule, but nothing could keep him from his mother's pulled pork. The recipe took three days just to marinate. Pulled pork nights were always heavily anticipated.
When the sound of a voice on edge caught his attention, Darion realized that there probably was one thing that would keep him from his mother's pulled pork, and he hesitated for a painful moment before changing his course to pass by the growing altercation. He would just get close enough to gauge whether he might need to step in. No need to jump to any conclusions just yet, although the scene already looked like an all too common one he'd seen before.
Kat made her way through the park, humming along with the music coming out of her headphones. Everything about her was designed to make her invisible. Her clothes weren't flashy or eye catching, and she walked with her hands in her pockets and shoulders hunched. She was so radically different from Viper that it was hard to believe they were the same person. But they were, which was why Kat walked past a group of men, instead of avoiding them like most girls her age.
She was only mildly surprised when they stopped her, identical grins on their faces. Kat glanced around, the park was mostly empty. The sun was setting so kids and families had left for the night. The only people around were a couple homeless people, some crackhead, and Kat. She stared up at the man who stopped her, slowly taking off her headphones. "Can I help you..?"

Origin Story: Valentina’s parents knew for a long time that their daughters were different. They did everything they could to keep their gifts a secret, including moving from their home in Mexico to America so the local cartel wouldn’t find out and try to use their powers to their advantage. Valentina had always been anti everything. Every week there was something she was protesting, whether it was too much homework, or the local dog pound was putting down animals too early. As she got older this sense of justice grew stronger and she and her sister realized they could actually make a difference with their powers. Her sister could control the earth and the plants on it, so she skipped college and went to work in the rainforests. But Valentina stayed, turning her eyes to the corrupt government and corporations polluting her beloved earth. They were going to pay.
Tragic Flaw or Weaknesses: Valentina’s tragic flaw is that she has no idea what she wants from life, and lacks the will to commit to anything. Her powers take concentration, so if that concentration is broken she becomes open to attacks.
Physique: https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6215/6242410917_2ab3d7ce08_z.jpg
Tempestas’ costume is simple: black spandex like material covers her from her chest down, heeled boots that come up mid thigh, and black and grey cape that covers her neck and shoulders. She wears fingerless gloves that cover her arms up to her elbows, and uses a domino mask to conceal her identity.
Superhero Personality, and how they appear in public: The name Tempestas comes from the goddess of storms, and she embodies that persona when she becomes Tempestas. Regal and fierce. She doesn’t engage in petty verbal spats, or any sort of fighting unless necessary.
Could you please add Kuranosuke Koibushi for me?
I know he's not entirely original, but I plan on maiking him a completely new person.
If that's not okay, I understand.
Freetime: When Finn isn’t trying to make others’ lives awful, he’ll most likely be found in a tattoo-studio, either getting a tattoo himself or inking others. Also, he likes to creep on people in dark alley ways, or scare girls in night clubs.
Trivia Info: Finn has a total of 315 tattoos, of which 176 show insects and 139 show bones. After his surgery, he used all his begged money for tattoos. He got his first tattoo at the age of 16, and it showed a Jolly Rogers. After that, more and more tattoos followed, and at the age of 17, he decided to completely cover himself in tattoos, and they should show a skeleton when completed.
‘Villain Info’
Name: Zombie
Power: Necrokinesis/Death-Force Manipulation, esp. Death Sense & Reanimation
Team: Unalinged – Even though he’s more of a Villain, Finn doesn’t feel like he belongs to a team, and doesn’t want to identify himself with others.
Origin Story: Finn doesn’t know whether he always had these powers, or whether they appeared after the surgery on his brain, but he does know that when waking up, they strangely were there. If he went to a place, he would suddenly have blurry visions of a person being shot there, of a girl being and killed, of horrible deaths the then 16-year-old couldn’t handle. But he had to, because those things would happen more and more often. And then he reanimated a dead dog for the very first time. His newly found powers were undeniable by then. His uncle helped him to cope with all the mess, but it was clear that he viewed the boy differently after that. The time Finn moved was also the time he decided not to use his powers for good anymore. He knew he could solve cold cases, could work for the hospital maybe, but because there were never people helping him, he decided that nobody deserved his help either. Nobody but his uncle. Whenever he would be in trouble, Finn would be right there to help him. Finn is a hard shell to crack.
