-- Abandoned Railway

Kori, aka Night Owl, has carved out a small niche for himself here where he lives with his mouse, Rodent.

Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
Later, Night Owl found Shade's discarded bandana somewhere around the trains in the tunnel where he'd fallen. Nice little keepsake.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl "Thanks." He retorted, finally stepping out of the room. He managed to navigate out of the building and back home.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "Watch out for holes in the floor," he sang.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl That made sense. With a weary glance to Night Owl, Shade headed towards the door.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "You can start with the door," Night Owl answered, nodding behind Shade.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl This guy is crazy, he thought to himself. "Okay, we'll you had your fun." He looked around, searching for the exit. "Now tell me how I can get out of here,'please?"
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "Oh..." He chewed on his lip as he contemplated the idea. "Nope, sorry. Blind date wasn't my idea. I just found your sorry fallen through the floor on top of a train. You're lucky I found you, by the way. If you would've rolled off that train, I doubt you'd live. Oh, and the chair, well, that was just a safety precaution. Everything else was a bonus." He winked up at Shade.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl "Then Id have to assume the rumors were started by you and you purposely meant to lead a member of my team here in order to lure them and do...whatever you planned to do to me." He offered, clearing his throat at the end. He was sore and wated to get out of this place. But there was no obvious exit.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "Uh..." He weighed his options. "What if it was?"
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl "I meant the chair!" He waved furiously at the chair and the now hanging limp bindings. "Wait, is this place a setup?" He vested yes around him.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
*say
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade Night Owl stared up at him, slightly stunned by the sudden switch.
"Wait hold on, when you sat setup," he stammered. "Do you mean, the setup of my living quarters? Or are you implying I set you up?"
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl "Better." He kissed back, for distraction of course. Because the moment he was sure the other was focused on him, he focused on his escape. Forming to the shadows, his body wavered. In one fluid moment he was behind Night Owl, mask down. "Idiot." He cursed as he knocked him down into the chair. "What's your reason for this setup?" He didn't get why he was so bound to mess sit him like this.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade Night Owl hopped off of Shade. "You're right," he muttered. "Mood lighting." He flicked the main switch off, which got rid of the fluorescent light overhead. He turned the two desk lamps he had away from them too, and then strode over behind Shade to tilt his head back so he was leaning over him.
"Better?" He didn't wait for an answer before leaning down and softly kissing Shade's lips. He'd always wanted to kiss someone like that.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl Shade grunted. A deeper desire welled up in his gut. But seriously, that was his second first kiss! This guy had some nerve, that he would admit it was his set of firsts. He struggled against his restraints. Pulling his head back, he muttered to the other. "Turn some of these lights down for godsake." That didn't sound exactly like he meant.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade Kori scoffed. "You are dreadfully boring," he muttered. He briefly considered his choices before planting another kiss on Shade.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl Pull his mask down number one. It also seemed that his bandanna had fallen off. Most likely on impact. Even just the bit of his revealed face made him feel vulnerable. "What do you mean?" Playing dumb seemed to be his best bet.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "Hmm." Night Owl considered the notion. "Depends what you're gonna use your hands for."
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl "You live here?" He relaxed. That made sense. It also gave him peace of mind. He wasn't in the enemies grasp. Though he wasn't quite sure of this was any better. What kind of life was this guy living outside of his mask? He couldn't have meant he lived here /all/ the time. "Okay, okay, look. I'm not here to hurt you or raid your place. Can you at least untie me?"
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "What does it look like I'm doing?" He retorted. "I'm squatting. I live here. See that bed over there? Or... Cot, I guess." He muttered.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl "Or better yet, what are you doing here?" He countered. Glancing around, he noticed how lived in the room seemed. Almost like...home? Could people have mistaken the shady figured (haha) in and out of this place as his infamous companion? It would make sense. He chose to ignore the position they were in for now. For informational purposes of course.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "Aw, you shouldn't have," Night Owl said. He left his chair in favor of straddling Shade's lap and draped his arms over his shoulders. "Now, all niceties aside, what are you doing here?"
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl Shade snorted. "Yeah, how do you feel about orange lilies?" It wasn't odd that he knew the mailings of flowers. His mom had lots of interesting material in the bathroom.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade "Yeah, well last time I checked, this was my hideout, and I didn't invite anyone over. Unless, of course, you're surprising me. Did you bring flowers?"
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl Shade spit. "The is wrong with you? Last time I checked I wasn't a princess and you're definitely not my Prince Charming!" So it may or may not have been his first kiss. And his reaction may or may not have been the most dignified.
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade Night Owl drew back as Shade started stirring. "Welcome back to consciousness," he greeted, patting his cheek.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
@Night Owl His hurt like hell, almost as bad as the back of his head. How far had he dropped? A couple stories? The landing wasn't soft either. Damn, he was gonna have to figure how to get out.

He tried to pry open his eyes, but they refused. Sleep beckoned him and he was welcomed with the cool darkness, slowly being dragged under...

As Shade came through, he cursed. Though it didn't sound out loud. He was still groggy. Light streamed into his eyes, he felt it through his skin. He felt warmth all around him, he was uncomfortable in the material of his suit. He was....he was...Being kissed? Alarm bells rang off in his head. The warmth was from the other set of lips against his.

He attempted to move but...he was tied up? What the was going on?
Night Owl [A] 10 years ago
@Shade He heard the crash echo through the vast halls and caverns.
"The hell was that?" He muttered, glancing at Rodey who was sitting on the counter. "Well if you're not gonna go see, I guess I'll have to."
With a sigh he trudged out of the ticket office.
It didn't take long for him to find the brand new pile of rubble. And then the hole in the floor nearby. Whoever or whatever it was, it obviously wasn't familiar with the place.
He peered down into the hole. "Hello?" He called. "You still alive down there?"
When there was no answer, he grumbled to himself and cautiously climbed down, dropping on top of a metal roof of a train. He almost tripped on something then. A person. Probably. Whoever it was, they were still breathing. Lucky that he fell on the train and not on the tracks just a few feet away.

It took a little while to drag the body to his makeshift bedroom. Along the way, he realized who it was, and thought tying him to a chair would be the best course of action. He dragged another chair over, metal scraping against concrete, and took a seat across from his new accidental captive.
"So, Shady," he greeted the barely conscious hero. "Did you come to collect what I owe you?"
Rodey squeaked with curiosity.
"No? Then what could you possibly be doing here?" He stared at the masked figure. "Well, since you're here, let's see whose face is under that mask."
He started pulling up the edge of his mask, but halfway up he paused. Well. Why ruin the fun? He could think of several way more fun things to do to an unconscious hero tied to a chair.
Without much more thought, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Shade's newly exposed ones.
Shade [A] 10 years ago
Dirty...no dirty wasn't even the word for it. Filthy, rundown, and dark. Though Shade didn't mind the dark all that much. The dark was his comfort, his own little ray of sunlight. Why did he always get stuck with the dirty work? The scum and the poverty ridden. The rumor was that Renegade possibly had their hideout here in the old abandoned station. There had been reports of mysterious characters in and out. But who really knew? He really cared when the fact was that of course Shade would have to be the one to investigate. Sometimes being 'The Stealth' wasn't all it was perked up to be in comic books.

Slowly, carefully, Shade moved along the shadows, his body becoming liquid darkness as he blended and moved. Around the building he went, bypassing a few unsuspecting homeless druggies. They would never notice the chill he brought to the air as he passed or the fact that unlike the shadows his darkness was a swirling pit of nothing, a deeper black than the darkest night. Only a trained eye. Pull tell the difference.

Getting inside the place was easy, what with gaping holes all over the dealings and in the walls. He wasn't even exactly sure what he should be looking for anyways.

Quiet, stealthy- "." He cursed as he heard something crunch under his foot. Picking it up, his eyebrows furrowed under the mask. "Candy bar?" Who could afford a candy bar in a dump like this. This had to be a sign, right?

Staring at the wrapper intensely, trying to determine how new it could be, Shade leaned back into the wall. Bad idea. The wall wasn't sturdy and crumbled under his weight. With a grunt, the dark hero jumped away, slamming down on his feet just as debris covered the place where he had stood. Smirking triumphantly, he turned to get out of this hellhole, only to step into a rotted hole in the floor.

Pt. 2
Hero/Villain Info

Name: Tempestas

Power: Weather Manipulation, Immunity to temperature extremes

Origin Story: Valentina’s parents knew for a long time that their daughters were different. They did everything they could to keep their gifts a secret, including moving from their home in Mexico to America so the local cartel wouldn’t find out and try to use their powers to their advantage. Valentina had always been anti everything. Every week there was something she was protesting, whether it was too much homework, or the local dog pound was putting down animals too early. As she got older this sense of justice grew stronger and she and her sister realized they could actually make a difference with their powers. Her sister could control the earth and the plants on it, so she skipped college and went to work in the rainforests. But Valentina stayed, turning her eyes to the corrupt government and corporations polluting her beloved earth. They were going to pay.

Tragic Flaw or Weaknesses: Valentina’s tragic flaw is that she has no idea what she wants from life, and lacks the will to commit to anything. Her powers take concentration, so if that concentration is broken she becomes open to attacks.

Physique: https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6215/6242410917_2ab3d7ce08_z.jpg
Tempestas’ costume is simple: black spandex like material covers her from her chest down, heeled boots that come up mid thigh, and black and grey cape that covers her neck and shoulders. She wears fingerless gloves that cover her arms up to her elbows, and uses a domino mask to conceal her identity.

Superhero Personality, and how they appear in public: The name Tempestas comes from the goddess of storms, and she embodies that persona when she becomes Tempestas. Regal and fierce. She doesn’t engage in petty verbal spats, or any sort of fighting unless necessary.

Adding for 'Zombie':

Freetime: When Finn isn’t trying to make others’ lives awful, he’ll most likely be found in a tattoo-studio, either getting a tattoo himself or inking others. Also, he likes to creep on people in dark alley ways, or scare girls in night clubs.
Trivia Info: Finn has a total of 315 tattoos, of which 176 show insects and 139 show bones. After his surgery, he used all his begged money for tattoos. He got his first tattoo at the age of 16, and it showed a Jolly Rogers. After that, more and more tattoos followed, and at the age of 17, he decided to completely cover himself in tattoos, and they should show a skeleton when completed.

‘Villain Info’
Name: Zombie
Power: Necrokinesis/Death-Force Manipulation, esp. Death Sense & Reanimation
Team: Unalinged – Even though he’s more of a Villain, Finn doesn’t feel like he belongs to a team, and doesn’t want to identify himself with others.
Origin Story: Finn doesn’t know whether he always had these powers, or whether they appeared after the surgery on his brain, but he does know that when waking up, they strangely were there. If he went to a place, he would suddenly have blurry visions of a person being shot there, of a girl being and killed, of horrible deaths the then 16-year-old couldn’t handle. But he had to, because those things would happen more and more often. And then he reanimated a dead dog for the very first time. His newly found powers were undeniable by then. His uncle helped him to cope with all the mess, but it was clear that he viewed the boy differently after that. The time Finn moved was also the time he decided not to use his powers for good anymore. He knew he could solve cold cases, could work for the hospital maybe, but because there were never people helping him, he decided that nobody deserved his help either. Nobody but his uncle. Whenever he would be in trouble, Finn would be right there to help him. Finn is a hard shell to crack.
