@Xi Luhan This guy was just strange and he was right what he said. Looking at him as he lifted her chin, she couldn't deny that she indeed feared that he suddenly would jump on her, then when she wasn't expecting it at all. But maybe the bad experienced she got made her as well blind for those, which really didn't mean any harm to her, but it was hard to tell who was really nice and honest with her and who not. "Trust hm? That's something very rare for humans in a place like this I guess", she said, smiling then weakly. "But fine, I'll try to."

She really wanted to trust him and feel comfortable around him, but that was easier said than done. "Me? Well actually I came here on my own, even though I didn't know everything about this school back then. But in the end it doesn't really matter", she said and shrugged then a little. It hadn't mattered to her where she went, as long as he got away from her father, even when it meant to be in a place like this. Everything was better than haning around that old , who blamed her for the death of her mother.

"I guess we are soon done with the cleaning right? Or is there anything else we have to do?", she tried then a normal conversation, pushing all her skepticism aside and deciding to really give him a chance. She smiled honestly, looking then around and asking herself what they needed to do or if they were finally done with this damn huge room. She was tired actually.

@Lee Jieun (IU):

“Intentions?” Luhan repeated after her. Intentions. We wondered if he would still have a slight crush on her if he ed her. Or like others put it, make love. According, there wasn’t really other than ing. It was always the same thing – he doubted that a small genuine liking to a girl would make it any different. His intention were messed up the second he set eyes on her. A part of him wanted to let her know that he wasn’t just the cocky and cold demon who slept around with everyone, but as a vulnerable person like everyone else. Was this what it felt like to like someone? It felt utterly stupid, but he kind of liked the feeling. Answering her question, he turned to her again, “My intentions are too strange to be said. They’re nothing someone like you should worry about.”

Watching her sit on the table, instantaneously, he found himself sitting on the table opposite her. It annoyed him how he wasn’t looking at her. Why wasn’t he? He was the only person in the room and she was already looking away? Was she that afraid of him? Leaning closer towards her, until he was at the edge of the table, he placed a finger underneath her chin in attempt to get her to maintain some sort of eye contact with her. He wanted to see her eyes. Mere human eyes – eyes that didn’t change colour with obsessive feelings. “You’re acting as if I’m going to pounce on you any second. You can trust me - I said I didn’t want anything from you.”

At the question, he decided perhaps it would be best to reply honestly. And to stop playing the cold game with her, “Well, I joined with the genuine desire to learn about powers and little trivial things like that. But that soon faded as my year commenced. And this is the result,” He pointed to himself. He then looked at her, “Then who forced you here, Jieun? Surely you didn’t come on your own?” If she had come on her own, she had truly underestimated her.

@Xi Luhan Jieun lifted her head again, looking at him with a questioning look on her face. Why shouldn't she know what strange is? In her opinion he was just acting strange and that was a fact, at least for her. "What do you mean?", she then suddenly asked, not quite sure what he meant with his words. "I mean... I could ask you as well, what kind of intentions you have right now. I don't want to sound rude, but you are the first demon I meet which isn't suddenly jumping on me, which of course I don't wanna complain about... it's nice to finally have someone around who is able to just talk a little...", she said then, blushing lightly, though it was the truth.

She couldn't deny that she was glad that he didn't seem so far to have any bad intentions, though she guessed that he of course had a reason to be like this. But as for now, she really wanted to believe that she as a human could talk normally with a demon without needing to fear him. She was even wishing for it, that someone of them wouldn't see her just as a human, but as Jieun. Being then done with the ground, she placed everything aside and sighed a little, before she hopped on one of the tables, needing a short break.

Stretching her arms a little, she then started to watch Luhan a little, making sure though that she wasn't getting any eye contact. It just felt strange, since she feared to trust him, though the stronger part inside of her just wanted to trust him. "Why are you even here? I mean in this school?" She knew it was a poor try to keep the conversation up, but right now she just couldn't think of anything better.

@Lee Jieun (IU) Seeing the confusion made Luhan laugh. He prevented himself from letting out a chuckle by slightly pinching his wrist. These things always were a little it amusing to him – seeing absolute confusion written across someone’s face. Especially Jieun’s face. She carried an innocent baby face that made it a lot more hilarious. It was torture – not laughing. All Luhan really could do was smile largely, and it felt absolutely peculiar on his face. He wasn’t one to usually smile or laugh, but now he was having a hard time preventing loud laughter erupting from him. He had maliciously laughed and smirked many times, but this? Scarcely. Oh, how he felt disgusted with himself as he enjoyed the confusion. But it was the way he was and unfortunately nothing could change how irking he was.

“Honey, you don’t know what strange is…yet,” He retorted. He wanted to push her – push her until she was curious about him enough to want him just a little. That wouldn’t be too hard, would it? He’d be careful, he promised himself that. He wouldn’t dare touch a single hair on her head. He wouldn’t break her like he did with others. All he needed was to push her gently until she showed some sign of curiousity – to want to get to know him. To want him. Yet if she didn’t fall into his trap, he didn’t mind. He’d just keep working at it for a while. He wasn’t really in a rush and with this case, he seemed to have enough patience to last him.

As she worked, he took slightly glimpses of her face and asked, “What are you thinking about, huh? It must be pretty interesting for you to react to it like that. Tell me”. He smirked, quickly turning away from her like he had never glanced at her, and continuing to clean with his back faced to her.

@Xi Luhan It was really a very awkward situation, at least for Jieun. The moment he let go of her neck she was finally able to breath normally again, though his grip hadn't been too firm, but the action itself had prevented her from breathing normally. Hearing his words, he just didn't know what she should think about him right now, even more as he suddenly touched her s, she was already ready to just slap his hands away, but then he retrated all himself.

Blinking a few times, she watched him as he got back to the work they actually had to finish her. It was the first time than someone didn't just ravish her when he felt like he wanted to, even though Jieun wasn't so sure yet, if he was just playing with her, maybe trying to gain her trust first before he would jump on her later on. She couldn't deny that she had felt a soft tingle in her stomach as he was this close, he was a handsome male after all and Jieun was in one point just a girl, despite the fact that she was actually npt really fond of just sleeping around with people. She wasn't the type for it actually, but in a school like this she guessed she wouldn't be able to always keep with her opinions.

"You are just strange you know?", she suddenly then said, shaking her head and sighing lowly, before she continued to clean the room then herself. It was indeed confusing her, cause she had no clue what exactly he wanted from her. At the same time she felt sort of curious as well to why he didn't just take what he wanted, and for a short moment she even though about what would it be like to have some intimate actions with a demon. But as soon as she noticed what she was thinking about, she quickly shook her head and closed shortly her eyes, throwing those thoughts away.

@Lee Jieun (IU) Did he feel bad at all? No. Did he feel bad for doing this to her? He shrugged at the thought. Nope. In fact, the thought of taking her was actually more exhilarating than it should have been. Adding it to the many things he loathed, he particularly hated liking someone or showing more attention to someone than he needed. To him, it was sign of weakness. People could see this and take whatever he liked away from him – it was something he learnt at childhood. So, he usually treated the things he liked normally, like the way he treated everything else. He wasn’t sure why he had taken a likening to the girl. She possessed a certain sweetness that he liked. Up close, he could see all her nooks and crannies, and admire them. She was a pretty girl. She hadn’t even done anything in favour of him. He groaned – This was one of those one-sided loves wasn’t it? On his side – as well. He cursed himself. How stupid.

He removed his grip on her neck and placed his arms side-to-side from her body. She seemed awfully submissive – perhaps that was something he needed to change. He couldn’t have someone he liked being too submissive. That would make her bait. He didn’t want her to be bait. The thought scared him a little. He wanted to taste her sweetness for himself. He decided not to force himself on her – she’d be forever scared of him then. Moreover, she’d be forever submissive too. He decided maybe it would be best – in this situation – to be patient. Patience is virtue, he repeated to himself numerous times. He then moved his fingers against the curve of her hip, and smiled.

“I want nothing,” He smiled, too innocently. His right fingers inched higher and higher – and stopped at the tip of her . He gently grazed the tip and then relieved of her of his contact. He’d be back for more – This wasn’t the end of it. And then, as if nothing had happened, he bent down and stacked the boxes at a fast pace. It then looked like nothing had happened.

@Xi Luhan Everything happened way too fast, so Jieun was not able to react properly to what was going to happen. Only a high pinched gasp left her lips as she felt something around her neck, his fingers tracing her skin and making her shiver. Her eyes were closed automatically, while she prepared herself already for maybe a pair of sharp fangs or anything else that would hurt her, since she was more or less already used to it. But nothing came, so she dared to slowly open her eyes again a little, but just before she didn't move a single inch.

His words afterwards were not really calming her actually, even more as she saw what happened to his eyes, she gulped nervously and tried first to free herself from his grip, but honestly she wasn't trying too hard. She knew that struggling and trying to escape could make things just worse and even if she would be able to run away at first, sooner or later he would get her. "W-what do you want from me?", she asked softly, her voice trembling a little. His fingers on her neck were still causing her to shiver here and there a little, since the spot where she had been bitten felt still rather sensitive.

"As I said, I don't want any trouble...", she whispered then, closing her eyes again and hoping he wouldn't do anything to her. At this point was hope everything left, since as a human there was not that much you could do... especially since Jieun was even for a human not very strong and rather delicate and fragile.

@Lee Jieun (IU) With the swift movement of her hand to her neck, his curious eyes followed her to her neck. There was not any marks he could see, but he sensed she had already been a vampire’s meal in her time here. He would have guessed so. Some of the vampires here were malicious and absolutely selfish, and they didn’t care about what really happened to humans. He wasn’t any different. Except for her – he showed a little bit of interest in this girl. He completely understood that humans were timid around the rest of the species. He knew students who had gotten themselves killed, by others. And he had taken apart in killings before too – he needed to survive. But he wasn’t stupid enough to the life out of a student. He always left school grounds to do so.

“You don’t want to get into any trouble…like this kind of trouble?”
He took the opportunity to come close to her and did what he did best. He swung her against the shelf, a couple of boxes toppling down onto the ground. He obstructed her escape with an arm loosely around . His finger gingerly traced the side of her neck, hoping to find the vampire’s puncture. He smiled to her.

“Of course I know the names you get called. They’re a bit crude, so I don’t think you’d want to hear the really bad ones. I wonder what I could…use you for”. He grinned – his eyes turning a dark red. You could no longer see his orbs, but just a void of dark crimson. He liked manipulating people – he liked tricking them. He wasn’t really going to hurt her, he was too interested, but he wouldn’t mind a nibble of her blood. Or a kiss. Something like that. Luhan was a sensual person, so when he quietly liked someone, there was no limits.

@Xi Luhan Hearing his words, she looked up again and then turned her attention towards him, a soft blush on her cheeks. She wasn't so sure if she should laugh now or just be happy that he wasn't going to bite her or anything. Blinking a few times, she sighed then, feeling almost a little bad for behaving like this in front of someone she didn't even know yet. She guessed all her bad experiences had just caused her to behave like this automatically.

"Sorry...", she suddenly then mumbled, guessing that it was best to first apology. "Yes I'm Jieun", she nodded then after his next words, but raising then softly an eyebrow as he continued to talk, calling her a blood bag. Well actually it wasn't that wrong, considering what all vampires here in the school wanted from her. She sighed softly, shrugging then a little and cleaning then again. "I guess all humans are sort of seen as just some source of blood or ", she replied, shrugging then lightly. It was the truth after all, she had to learn that already in her first days here in the academy, but more or less she just got used to it and tried her best to just stay out of any trouble.

"Why are you asking me this anyway? You are a supernatural creature yourself aren't you? Then you should know what they use to call us humans", she said then, smiling a little, placing unconsciously a hand on her neck. The last bite marks have healed luckily already, but they were still remaining her to be careful. "I didn't want to be mean or something to you... I just try to stay out of any trouble", she suddenly added then, not sure though if he would understand what she meant.

@Lee Jieun (IU)

She was quite adorable – in a sense that he kind of wanted to squeeze her cheeks and her at the same time. He wondered if anyone else had already courted her. She wasn’t his usual type - a little too shy and innocent. He usually liked forward women who confidently flaunted themselves in front of him. That way, he really wasn’t the bad guy after all. Yet with this girl, he envisioned himself being even worse than he already was. He imagined the most cunning things, things too inappropriate to even think, yet say aloud. Yet there was a slight realness in this girl that made him sway his feelings of contentment towards her. It was too early to say he had taken interest in the girl, according to him. He was just, looking.

Her actions were obvious – she was avoiding him. That annoyed him. A mere human. Annoying him? That was typical. But annoying him because she was looking away? Now that was new. He was usually annoyed that people when they gave him too much attention. He was usually easily able to grab anyone’s attention. Was he that scary? He quickly glided next to her and began staking the boxes onto the high shelves. He was rather athletic so these type of jobs could be finished quickly. But today he decided to slow down a little. His neck craned down to her height as he rather harshly stated, “You know, I’m not going to bite unless you want me to. You can look at me”.

He snickered a little slightly, covering up his small likening for the girl.

“You’re Jieun? I’m Luhan,” He introduced himself confidently, a narcissistic edge on his voice. “You’re…the vampire’s blood bag?” He raised a brow at her, wondering how she would respond to him.

@Xi Luhan The moment she heard him speak, she turned and noticed the whole papers on the ground, asking herself though how he managed to let them fall all to the ground, bit instead of saying something, she just bent down and helped him picking them up. Actually was she quite surprised that he was talking, even though it hadn't been directly to her. Most of the demons she knew were either trying permanently to get close to her or they ignored her completely, since she was nothing more than a human, so she was slightly surprised that they were able to even talk normally.

Of course she wasn't loosing any words about it and just handed the papers she picked up over to him. "Here, better place them somewhere you won't throw them down again", she said with a soft smile on her lips. She didn't see any reason why she should be mad or anything or yell at him for letting them fall, though she knew that a lot of other girls, especially from other species would have done that. Maybe because she was a rather harmony seeking person, which disliked it very to fight with anyone about such useless stuff like this.

Sighing then a little, she stretched shortly her muscles, feeling that her shoulders and her back were slightly tensed because of all the work she needed to do here. At least she didn't need to do any other sports to stay fit, with cleaning rooms here she was already fine. Shortly her gaze went then back at the male, though she quickly looked away again, not daring to look at him for too long. She could clearly remember what happened when she looked at a demon too long the last time... she had been pressed against the wall with a hand around her neck and actually wasn't she fond of experiencing that again, though she hoped that this guy wouldn't be that aggressive.

@Lee Jieun (IU) Wasn’t she the girl that Luhan had seen from the opening day? He had caught glimpses of her around the school – several times actually. She was a small person; a human. He sensed it – but somehow, she actually had a face to a name in his mind. He oddly remembered someone calling out her name – Jieun, wasn’t it? He was surprised. He didn’t really know things about people he never met. He barely even knew things about people he met. He didn’t really have much importance over his acquaintances, perhaps except for a select few who seemed to understand him. He was slightly glad it was her that was cleaning in the same room with him. She was so different from him, her personality rather likeable, that he already liked her a little and was jealous of her at the same time. He cursed himself for showing interest in the girl – she was a mere human. Nothing to him. But he still admired and liked her a little – and when he liked something, he had to have it. He wasn’t sure if the liking was genuine, or just a ploy to get in her pants. Whatever it was, he would get it.

And here they were – cleaning in the same room. He kept his back to her, though widely aware of her presence, and continued cleaning with his back to her. Inching towards her side of the room, he let a stack of papers in his hands fall to the ground – on purpose.

“,” He sighed to himself, gazing up at her slightly before diverting his gaze to the ground to begin picking up the scattered papers. “These papers won’t pick up themselves,” He sighed to himself deeply, loud enough for her to hear.

@Xi Luhan She really couldn't understand why she needed to clean again, this was already the third week in which she got ordered to do so and even when she got someone to help her this time, she wasn't really happy about it. Looked like a lot of the teachers had a lot of fun to show humans exactly where they place were in this academy. Sighing lowly, she started then to wipe the floor, an activity she slowly started to get really good in. She didn't really pay too much attention to the young male which needed to help her, not because she had anything against him, but Jieun just learned that as a human it was the best to just try to stay out of any trouble, especially with other species.

While she continued to wipe the floor and drag a few chairs out of the way, she did her best to just not look at the guy in the room. She wans't so sure what he was, though he sort of looked familiar, but that didn't need to mean anything. Jieun had often the feeling that she had seen someone already, but in the end she then just realized that she remembered the faces of some people she had seen in the entrance at her first day here.

@Bae Suji (Suzy) She chuckled. "Good. Then do you mind going tomorrow? It's a Saturday night and I'm sure two single girls can have some fun." she laughed, nudging the other.

@Lee Hyeri "even if i hadn't been bitten, i'd still only be seventeen," she laughed. "but that never stopped me from clubbing," she adds.

{sure~ i'll respond tomorrow though, mm? i'm off to bed goodnight~

@Bae Suji (Suzy) Hyeri arched her brow for a second at Suji's slightly forced smile before her expression relaxed. "Too bad you're 17 forever. We can't go clubbing or to the bar now." she chuckled. "I'm eighteen."

(to the wall?)

@Lee Hyeri suji smiled though it was slightly forced. "seventeen, forever and always." was her response. "what about you?" suji followed hyeri to the door. "how old are you?"

@Bae Suji (Suzy) "A year?" she pursed her lips, tilting her head. "How old are you now?" she asked, hoping it wasn't too private as she made her way to the door, ready to leave but she wanted to hear the other girl's reply first. A vampire and a demon forming a friendship. It was unlikely but there seemingly was no barriers between the two girls. At least, not yet.

@Lee Hyeri suji couldn't help but feel disappointed at the older girl's statement. sunk resented being grouped with the idiots that had been spreading rumors about hyeri the moment she had set foot on campus. but she kept shut and bit back her disheartenment. instead, she answered hyeri's question. "yeah, but i'm barely a year."

@Bae Suji (Suzy) She shook her head, a small smile at her lips. "It's fine. You aren't any different from the rest when they first talk to me." And it was true. Her indifferent attitude often kept people steering away and she liked it that way. At least it kept the others from being fake and forcing their way into her heart and breaking it. "Yep, a demon." she blinked before letting Suji see her completely black eyes before shifting them back to her normal irises. "You're a vampire?"

suji laughed softly. "you're cool, hyeri. Ai'm sorry for my outburst earlier." she shook her head. "i tend to be overemotional. i'm newly turned," she explained. "speaking of which, you're a demon, right?"

@Bae Suji (Suzy) "Hmm, you should. Although I doubt the school will turn a blind eye to my fashion choices." she chuckled, looking down at Suji's rather shortened skirt. "So, is there anywhere you want to go or just out?" she asked, her indifferent facade almost melting away.

a small smile crossed suji's lips. "you haven't had your uniform altered yet? there's a place at the village that does it for practically free."
suji tugged at her shortened skirt. hyeri had probably noticed that the length wasn't exactly 'protocol'. "i'll take you sometime," suji offered. "it's a bit tricky to find," she added, though it wasn't.

@Bae Suji (Suzy) She nodded. "Yeah." She thought the other girl was nice and they had a possibility become friends but she wasn't completely sure about it yet. "But let's change out of the uniform first thought." she wrinkled in disdain when she looked down, hating the way her necktie was choking her.

@Lee Hyeri suji turned around. "really?" she asked quietly. "you really want to.. do something with me? she looked at the other girl, hopefully. "i would love to. honestly."

@Bae Suji (Suzy) Hyeri frowned. "It's not that. I just don't like talking to people." She then sighed at her words. Everyone always mistook her actions as not liking the other when she really just didn't like speaking. As the other girl stood up, she thought quickly whether to ask to have fun or not. "Hey!" she called out. "Do you wanna uh...go do something?" she was awkward as she spoke. As she waited the response, she sighed. "Nevermind, good night." She stood up, pushing her chair.

@Lee Hyeri suji sighed as the other merely nodded.
"do you not like me?" she interrogated the other. "you never say more than a few words at a time to me." she frowned slightly. "isn't to be friends. really. but you act like everything i do is bothersome to you." she looked at the other girl hopefully. yet- nothing. suji pushed her chair back and stood, quickly. "whatever," she mumbled, disappointedly. "sleep well." gathering her books up, suji made her way towards the door.

@Bae Suji (Suzy) Hyeri glanced up to the clock, agreeing that this project was too much. She was a loner, known for that, she often kept to herself more than approached others for this. The only time she interacted with others on a daily basis was when their professor had assigned partners or group projects which she took great care to steer clear of. She shut her book, adding on to the towering pile of teetering books that were going to surely fall any second.

As usual, she didn't contribute much to the project, only a few words here and there. Their teacher knew that Hyeri was an introvert so they pushed her near some of the other girls, hoping that she'd make some friends. But staring at the other girl, she wasn't so sure. If she had to have friends, they had to be males. Females somehow had the audacity to criticize everything she did and they ended up in a hospitable, not a cemetery if she was feeling particularly merciful that day.

@Lee Hyeri suji was typically a good student. but the assignment they had received was too much, even for her. she didn't like projects that required out of class work and her frustration was building as her eyes teared up from hours of reading. slamming her textbook shut, suji leaned back into her chair, eyes closed. "i'm so done with this, right now." suji opened an eye to look at her partner. "can we call it a night? my neck hurts," she whined.

at first, suji had been sort of excited to be partners with hyeri. aside from leo and zelo, suji didn't really have friends. though, suji wasn't even sure they considered her a friend. but the project was a huge one and hyeri hadn't contributed more than a few words and notes to aid.
