@Levi Mikasa looked up towards the sky as she thought. "...Hmm.." She sighed and turned her gaze back down towards the shorter. "Children are complicated. Girls can be girly or boyish. Boys can be crybabies, or super rough." She tilted her head. "And age affects that as well..." She trailed off. "...Without trying too hard?" She tried to hold back her laugh. "Captain, are you trying to act cool for your fiance?" She managed to hide her grin behind her scarf. "I'm not quite sure though. Maybe just cook dinner for them, or when they're cold you can give them your jacket or something. Nothing too big, something small to show your affection. Ah, and smile more."
@Mikasa The short raven fell silent of his rambling when she spoke, causing him to clear his throat; his cheeks dusted with a soft pink of embarrassment. Levi sighed softly, and leaned against the wall, "You of all people should know I have the most horrible problem with expressing emotion, plus, I always come off quite cruel, and harsh...I can't be like that with a child." He answered, looking up at her, onyx orbs basically lost. "And..here, say you were my fiance, and I wanted to surprise you, what would you find to be..romantic, or an expression of love without trying too hard..?" He couldn't seem to word things right today.
@Levi Mikasa raised a brow at his sudden rambling. "...Captain." She interrupted him calmly and softly, though inside she was more confused than ever. It's not like as knew, she was definitely not an expert in romance either, and children...well she wasn't always the one to make them smile either. "I'm...probably not the best person to go to for advice with this but I'll tell you what I can?" She pulled the red scarf around her neck down slightly so she could speak more clearly. "And please be a bit more specific so I know what to help you with." She blinked.
@Mikasa It wasn't a question, but he mentally chuckled at her response. Levi ran a hand through his fluffed, short locks- "I need your help with love, and relationships, kids.." He sighed, looking down. "Whether anyone else agrees or not, I'm a failure when it comes to love, and showing someone that I care about them..I'm only good at being possessive, and cruel.." He bit on his thin lower lip, then looked back up at the taller latter, "I don't know what to do, and when it comes to kids, I am very, very far from being a good father- I don't want to mess up, or look like I'm trying to hard, what if she ends up hating me? I mean.." He continued to babble on nervously.
@Levi To be completely honest, all Mikasa wanted was lunch. Why else would she have gone to the mess hall? She was stopped by some other members of the Survey Corps, so she politely stopped to listen to them talk. They turned to her for questions occasionally and she'd nod and shake her head when necessary. She just really wanted to leave and eat. She heard her own stomach growl, and suddenly felt embarrassed. The two laughed quietly and waved, apologizing for taking up her time. She slowly waved back and was about to finally achieve what she was here for, when a hand grabbed her wrist.
Of course, she was surprised. Why wouldn't she be? And she was more surprised when they both stopped and she saw the captain's usual calm and blank face, troubled. She blinked, slowly processing his words. "...Yes, captain, I am a girl." She confirmed, as if it weren't obvious enough. If she weren't so polite and respectful, she would've been sarcastic. "What is it that you need?" She tilted her head curiously.
@Mikasa Looking over the room, he paced; ignoring the strange looks of course. He was panicking, freaking out, and downright losing his mind. He wasn't set up for a life like this- he was born and raised to kill, that's what Levi was alive for, to help rid the world of those disgusting 'things' outside of the walls- not children and love. Why had it just gotten to him? He had no idea. The short raven rubbed his temples, thinking of who he could ask to help. Petra? Hell no. Hange? Big mistake. He was about to give up when his eyes fell on that of a familiar face- Mikasa.
He left his post, walking to where she stood, talking to two others when he grabbed her wrist, yanking her out of view. His blank face turning into one that read absolutely turmoil- "I need your help! Your a girl." He whisper shouted, hoping she'd help him.
