Welcome!

I presume you've brought your invitation?

Please make a post below to show that you've brought your invitation and you will then be allowed into the party.

Please enjoy the Blood Ball.

[The post must be a simple paragraph of your character coming and entering the hall after giving the man at the door their invite.]

luhan 10 years ago
Luhan stared at himself in the mirror, dark rimmed eyes staring right back at him. Blonde soft locks perfectly styled, falling effortlessly above his eyes. His thin plush pinks lips pulled into a thin line as he took a few steps back and his eyes wandered down to his attire for the evening. A black tailored Gucci suit to fit him perfectly, to show his slim physique off to all especially any possible patrons for the night. After deeming his appearance nothing less than perfect he stepped out of his room, and padded down the stairs and out to his car. A black sports car he couldn't be bothered with the name as long it was fast and looked as much as it was worth. He got in his car and began to drive towards the 'Blood Ball' which wouldn't surprise him if it ended bloody.

He drove leisurely in no real rush to arrive on time or anything of the sort, he was merely attending because he was a leader and of course needed to mingle with all the rest of gang leaders. He didn't plan on staying long unless something or someone peaked his interest. Once he arrived at the location he stepped out his car, let the valet take care of the rest and walked towards the entrance. There he handed his invitation to the bouncer or whatever he was, before entering the ballroom he winked at the man just for fun and continued on. He'd hope the night would prove to be interesting or he'd make his own fun one way or another.

Never a fan of such events, Sumin had actually not wanted to attend this ball. That was until she heard the other gangs would be attending this ball too. That information perked up her interest and having nothing better to do, Sumin headed over to the mansion.

She was dressed simply in black. She wore a black bare shoulder dress with black lace choker and black high heeled boots. Her soot black hair was let down and flowed freely until her lower back. You could not ever go wrong with black, now could you? Getting out from the cab that brought her all the way here to this majestic looking mansion, Sumin scanned the invitation card before heading to the doors.

Handing the invitation to the guard at the door, Sumin made her way in and hoped that she would have to pulled out the daggers and gun strapped to both her right and left thigh. After all, no party is fun without a little blood spill, right?

Her high heels clicked with every step she took as she headed to the main ballroom as the invitation said to.

Events such as these were so bothersome at times. Choa did not want to do much of anything today. It was a rest day for her, and to have that lovely day full of putting on makeup and finding a dress to match the event at hand was rather annoying. The blonde was used to getting dolled up each morning, so it didn't take horribly long or anything. Gathering up her gown in hand, Choa smoothed the dark purple gown out over her bed sheets. She was used to wearing white shirts and red heels on most days, so this deep hue of violet was a treat. After finding some crystal earrings along with black heels, the woman put her ensemble together, twirling around a bit just to get in the right mood for a party. She had plans tonight, and hopefully she wouldn't need to use the loaded gun strapped to her thigh. It was just there for...leverage. It wasn't going to be necessary unless the politician Choa needed a 'favor' from didn't agree to it. The favor was just a simple relinquishment of a certain technological instrument Choa wanted. She was working on the chemical composition for a new type of gunpowder, but she needed this machine to help create it, and she knew this man owned one. While Choa was labeled as a government worker, it was far too obvious that the government had no hands on her, and so she was going to this party only for this purpose. Handing off her invitation at the door with a smile from those red lips, the blonde headed into the grand hall, heels clicking with each step.

A formal invite to a ball, what a delightful way to start the week, she thought to herself, once in a while she'd liked attending such places for leisure as well as the conversations held within them. Dara had plans previously but she could not refuse for tonight she would meet her future colleagues and perhaps make connections to her advantage. The brunette heaved a soft sigh before she gave her appearance a once over; wearing a form fitting floor length one strap velvet dress, such effortless simplicity making it all the more alluring.

As she re-applied her lipstick, a shade similar to that of a cherry which complimented the dark tresses that cascaded past her shoulders in soft curls.

Satisfied with her appearance, she tucked a loose strand behind her ear after patting her nose with setting powder. "May the odds be in your favor." She spoke to herself, her laughter giving her confidence for the reference she made; all as she took her first steps into the room.

Jooyi wasn't used to this; going out to parties and such of the like. True enough, though, the girl wasn't even used to being invited to places. She was alright with that, though. She didn't typically go out on such occasions due to her constant studying for her academic life, and her late-night working in the Hotel as a receptionist. Sure, she'd seen parties being thrown in the place and was one of the people who was on duty to clean it that night (which made her wonder exactly what it would be like to attend a party on the other side of the spectrum--to actually be a guest there). So when she received a random invite to attend the...Blood Ball (weird name, yes...but a Ball nonetheless), she was actually quite shocked. She was so shocked that she didn't mention anything to her elder brother nor her father. They wouldn't approve of such things and though she felt like she was going behind their backs, she wanted to try something new...at least for once.

To find something to wear was challenging. Yes, she had a few selections that would easily pass for 'decent', but she wanted to at least look as though this wasn't her first time in such a place. After trying on various outfits, she finally found one that she liked. A knee-length pastel pink long sleeve dress with lace accents, a pair of lace cream heels and her hair hanging loosely about her head, Jooyi was satisfied. After finishing her makeup (nothing too extreme), she placed on pearl earrings and a matching pearl necklace, and hurried out of the house before her leave would be detected. When she hailed a cab, she climbed in the back, gripping her invitation and glancing over it. It nearly sent chills down her spine to think that in a matter of moments, she will be like the people whom she encounters—who actually go out on occasion just to have a good time. She could barely contain her excitement as she sat in the back, glancing out the window. The area that the mansion location was in wasn’t a place that she was used to going to. She typically stayed around where she lived since her college was in that direction, as well as the Hotel and her home, so this was on another part of town that was mysterious to her. Maybe she did the wrong thing with not telling anyone of her whereabouts, but she doubted anything would happen. It was a Ball and people knew how to act in this place, right? It was different from a party. It was elegant.

When the cab came to a halt, Jooyi quickly paid the man and thanked him for his services before stepping out and staring, in awe, at the mansion. Her home was large, but this place was even larger—nearly five times as much. Its circular driveway had a mass of expensive cars parked around, and she could hear commotion on the inside, as well as commotion surrounding her (with others arriving as well). Everyone looked thrilled to be here as she was, and they looked breath-taking as well. Beautiful women, handsome men, elegant clothing, nice accessories; people had certainly dressed for the occasion. Looking at herself, she wasn’t sure whether she looked nice enough. Shaking that thought away, she headed towards the main door where men were dressed in black tuxedos. She guessed that they were whom she was supposed to give the invitations to and, in doing so, was allowed inside. Nervous, Jooyi took a deep breath.

‘Here goes nothing…’
jung daehyun [A] 10 years ago
Daehyun found this event to be bothersome, he never liked attending it. He's not sure how the gang even finds the address of the apartment he's staying him to send him an invite, but he has to admire their eagerness for delivering he paper. He was fitted in a tuxedo, he had learned his lesson years ago when he showed up with simple jeans and a v-neck, invitation in his coat pocket as his teeth sunk into his bottom lip. He wasn't used to being around a mass of people, always a feeling he despised over the years. He'd only attend a party for two reasons ; either you were close to him, or he was there for a job. However, the Blood Ball was an exception. He went for the mere excitement of being caught killing off a stranger, always leaving a body behind.

He made his way to the entrance, handing the male a slip before walking in, not even flashing him a look of acknowledgement. He assumed it would be the same old male as previous years, and he didn't not want to give off a vibe that he was free to interact with. However, with such a popular ball, he knew the person he had to watch over would be attending as well. That set off a nerve, he always put his best effort into everything he did. Not only was Hyeri easy to lose in such a huge crowd, she was also extremely hard to find, though a group of boys staring one way and whispering was a hint. He stuffed his hands into his pockets, taking his first steps into the extravagant room. Let the fun begin, he thought to himself, a smirk tugging on his lips as he hid himself amongst the crowd.

There was something exciting about balls. Maybe it was that the young novelist had never been to one, with the few exceptions of dances and weddings, really. But times like these, events as so were inspiration to him, they allowed him to create a story, a flow of writing to his mind. Although relaxing and having a drink, meeting people sounded like a good social thing, something to boost up his life, he didn't particularly mind, even so as he had dressed in his fanciest tux, pulling and tugging neatly at the boy at his neck. He felt 'snazzy' as his grandmother would not so subtly say in a way that made her look older than she really was. But he paid no actual attention, more or so focusing on the fact that things happened at balls, and he wasn't sure what, but he was definitely going to get it all down. Even if it costs him his life.

Taeil allayed by the front door with a hint of nervousness and perspiration on his neck and palms, his eyes wandering idly because he noticed many others going in before him, and that made him feel awkward, standing beside as others move past him while he held the invitation at hand. He then glanced up when he forced himself to move, the edges of his lips curving upwards in a manner that wasn't exactly confident. "H)3-Here you go," He smiled a bit too cheerfully, slowing his smile when the latter guard didn't smile back, another awkward situation. Upon looking at the Invitation he was let in, and he wasn't exactly sure why he felt guilty or services, moreover, wondering what his night would be like.

Wearing a tight, black dress
she had bought the night before, especially for this occasion,
Hyeri looked around as she made her way towards the big entrance,
her eyelids fluttering a few times as she admired the mansion.
She pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, smiling up at the
man who was standing right in front of the doors, arms crossed
over his chest, only to offer him the invitation she had in her
hands, proving that she had the right to go inside for the night.
People were already there, making her sigh quietly to herself as
she kept thinking about being careful around strangers. Her eyes
were only searching for one person; Daehyun. He was the only one
she knew well enough to spend the night with, so she simply walked
further inside the ballroom and gazed around to try and find him.

(Yeah. Admins gotta do it too. e u e)

Hyesung looked up at the entrance from his invitation and straightened his suit. He borrowed it (more like stole) from one of his friends (a doll in his basement) and it was clean enough. The older man never bothered to buy such things but today was a special occasion. Today he would be taking somebody home with him. Today he would get a new doll, and before the night ended his selection process would be over. Smiling to himself as innocent as always, he showed his invitation to the man at the door and entered the grand hall. Ah, what a sea of pretty faces awaited him inside that room, and he entered with high spirits.
