Apartment Complex

@ω Do Kyungsoo Each time the other touched him, he naturally leaned into it. It felt nice to be with someone else. Yifan was a bit surprised at himself for being able to fall into the cycle of a committed relationship but so far, he had no doubts cross his mind that the relationship was the right thing. Once the movie ended, he almost wished that it was longer. He liked how they were able to just sit next to each other so comfortably, no words needed. "Should we go to bed now?" he suggested. His intent was quite pure. If they were to solidify their mating bond so quickly, Yifan inwardly feared for the worst. For now they could just sleep together - no included - and work their way up. Since Kyungsoo would be the first person he would have ever bonded with, he wanted things to be perfect. Tonight couldn't be the night. "Let's go. We don't have to sleep now. But the bed might be more comfortable."

@α Wu Yifan Sighing softly, Kyungsoo tilted his head up to glance up at Yifan. A soft smile tugged on his lips as he gazed at his mate. Before he could resist, the omega reached up and softly ran his fingertips across the alpha's cheek. The movie was just about over, and Kyungsoo yawned cutely, stretching like a cat before relaxing back against Yifan's chest. Wrapping his arms around the elder's strong torso, the omega leaned up to shyly peck the alpha's jawline a few times, pink tongue peeking out to steal a taste of the skin. As the flavor and scent filled his mouth, Kyungsoo relaxed, sighing with contentedness.

@ω Do Kyungsoo Yifan ended up resorting to a TV channel playing a different movie to occupy their time. With open arms he let Kyungsoo onto his lap, holding the male close. His wolf was enjoying the way they were interacting as well as their mingling scents. It was just another mark of being with his mate. He had read that mates would eventually resemble each other by smell and now it was happening. Arms around the latter's waist, Yifan began to the male's arm with his his thumb. Lingering in the back of his mind, he couldn't help but think about what might happen if the just solidified the bond tonight. Yifan could feel the pull, the wolf's desire to go ahead and take his claim. It was so tempting that it was impossible to focus on the movie. He was just too busy thinking about the future.

As the movie played on, Yifan rested his chin atop the male's head. Closing his eyes, he went to just listening to the movie instead of watching it. It was calming. Everything that mattered was all in one place.

@α Wu Yifan "Hm?" looking up at Yifan, Kyungsoo blinked, "Oh, really? Alright, let's try something else," he smiled. When it all came down to it, the omega could really care less what they watched. As long as he got to be by his alpha's side, be safe in his strong arms, Kyungsoo would be happy. Doing just that, he climbed onto Yifan's lap and snuggled against his chest. His inner wolf was howling with happiness, all but buzzing with the euphoria of completion. All that was left was to make their mate bond complete. Official. But that was for another night. A night in the near future.

@ω Do Kyungsoo The thought of having someone else in his daily routine was nice. It wasn't something that Yifan ever had to deal with before and now that the opportunity was near - now that he had taken what was given to him - it was shocking to think how much might change. Yifan knew hat most changes would be of the positive variation. This is something he had always wanted before. It would just take time to adjust to.

"I am, too." Yifan nodded, grinning in return. He hadn't refined his ability to express his feelings clearly yet but he was hoping that bit by bit it would show through. "Are you sure you don't want to watch something else? The reviews of the movie haven't been that good so I don't want to find out it really was a dud when there's something else to watch." he offered while reaching for the remote. He was sure he could rent it.

@α Wu Yifan Humming, Kyungsoo nuzzled Yifan's strong chest, smiling sweetly at the thought, "I'm so happy..." he murmured. Looking up at the alpha with love and adoration, he thought about their life together. The early mornings, the late nights, the overcooked eggs, the bad comedy movies, the love making, everything, everything together. Taking Yifan's hand, Kyungsoo led them to the alpha's couch, plopping down comfortably, "Let's watch that new movie you told me about," he smiled.

@ω Do Kyungsoo When the rest of the meal went smoothly, Yifan couldn't help but smile. Everything was working out so well. He was happy.

Gravitating toward the younger, Kyungsoo didn't have to go too far to get back to his side. In fact, Yifan's wolf was keen on keeping a close eye on his new mate. It was something he could get used to quite easily. "Of course. You can move in whenever you'd like. You'll just have to mind the mess for a couple days. I'll have to make room for your stuff in the bedroom. Otherwise, move in whenever you'd like."

@α Wu Yifan Eventually finishing the meal, Kyungsoo rose and placed a sweet peck to Yifan's temple, humming as he took their dishes to the sink to wash. Cleaning up, he returned to the alpha's side, wrapping his arms around him, "Should I spend the night tonight? Get my things tomorrow? What's the timing on me moving in?" Kyungsoo babbled questions, mostly excited rather than nervous.

@ω Do Kyungsoo The meal, the whole picture of eating with someone else, felt so nice that the worry of showing someone his pack wasn't much of a problem after all. Just the thought of making a move that big would usually send Yifan into an inward panic, but this time around he was quite at ease. This definitely the step that Yifan needed in order to be happy. He could already feel the warmth from making Kyungsoo alone happy. Since the both of them were getting to be on the same page, his mood was only boosting.

"We'll do it all soon." He said as a promise, grinning. Holding back wasn't really an option with this kind of mood. He was simply elated with the sincerity of the meal and conversation, comforted the way the other held his hand across the table. Keeping their hands tight together, Yifan paused from eating. Mating would be the right choice, he could feel it.

@α Wu Yifan Kyungsoo loved it when he managed to get color to appear on Yifan's cheeks. It wasn't as often as himself, so the omega cherished each time, grinning with glee, "Well, it's safe to say that I'll be the judge of that," he giggled. Tilting his head, Kyungsoo watched the movement of the alpha's hands as he spoke, nodding slowly in agreement, "Okay~ You're the boss!" he saluted playfully, feeling more at ease now and allowing his natural pup like personality to emerge. Sometime throughout the meal, Kyungsoo's small hand found its way over to Yifan's larger one, holding it securely.

@ω Do Kyungsoo Sitting across from Kyungsoo, Yifan had almost thought that the conversation was over. However, he was sure that this was a more serious conversation than a few simple words and an easy conclusion. This was just proving that theory. Yifan hadn't really thought too far ahead. He had never mated with someone before to really get this far.

"I'm not perfect," he said, feeling a blush creep up on his cheeks. "I'm far from it, actually. You haven't really seen enough of me if you think that." Yifan shook his head, unable to hold back a smile from the compliment. "I think once we get settled in with each other, you can come to meet the pack and if you decide you like it there, we can live there instead. Otherwise, you're free to continue living in the apartment." Yifan clicked his chopsticks together as he spoke, feeling that it helped him think things through.

@α Wu Yifan Nodding, Kyungsoo took his seat, holding his spoon, "I agree." he looked up at Yifan with sparkling eyes full of affection, resting his chin in his hand, "Yifan, you're perfect, you know that?" the omega's tone was soft, almost purr like. Still smiling, Kyungsoo turned to his meal, stirring it and taking a few bites with a hum. A thought occurred to him as he swallowed, "Does this mean I get to meet your--our pack?" he some excess sauce from his lips, eyes curious.

@ω Do Kyungsoo He wasn't sure if not fully consummating things tonight was disappointing to Kyungsoo or not, Yifan just followed along. There wasn't any noticeable change that Yifan saw when the other pulled away from the hug. Understanding, yes. Maybe a bit of disappointment, maybe. It didn't feel right to jump into finalizing mating. This was exactly the speed that Yifan wanted to go. They were on the same page, which was the more important thing over anything.

"We'll pick a date. Make sure everything is right." Yifan said. He didn't even really pick up on being called Kyungsoo's mate. It sounded - and came out - so naturally that he didn't even think about it.

@α Wu Yifan Humming, Kyungsoo nodded, "Yes. Not tonight. Soon..." he murmured. Pulling away gently, he gave Yifan one last smile and a soft peck on the lips, "Let's eat then. Mate~" the word just felt right coming from his mouth, and there was a spring in the omega's step. No more did he have to wonder about security, or, who he'd spend the rest of his life with. He had everything in the world, right here. Getting some bowls out, Kyungsoo filled them with the steaming stew, bringing them to the table.

@ω Do Kyungsoo Yifan had given thought to bringing up becoming more intimate with Kyungsoo before thinking of taking things slow, and now that the idea was back onto the table, he didn't want to seem overeager to take the offer. Claiming was one thing. Just planting a scent onto someone, but bonding. Bonding has always been something much different to wolves. It's intended to be permanent, like a marriage.

"We can." He said, keeping his arms tight around the latter. "We can, if that's what you want. I want this to be nice though. So not tonight, but soon." Yifan grinned, feeling warm with his wolf happier than ever.

@α Wu Yifan Refueled and rejuvenated by the wonderful news, Kyungsoo's smile was a hundred watts brighter as he shook his head with a laugh, "Don't apologize. I'm so happy now, I don't even care." his eyes were slightly watery, though his smile never wavered. Closing his eyes, a few tears fell, and he went back to the tight hug, nosing Yifan's chest and inhaling his scent, "I want you to claim me already... make the official bond..." Kyungsoo's voice was quiet, "but.... you know..."

@ω Do Kyungsoo Now that they were on the same page, Yifan felt his nerves settle. He was getting ready to almost take it back when he finally heard what Kyungsoo had to say. They had to be more on the same page now. They had to if they really wanted to be mates.

"Sorry, it took so long." Yifan apologized, laughing. As an alpha he was kind of the one who was left to make the big move, to drop the big question, so it was no surprise that Kyungsoo had been waiting. He was so focused on keeping things comfortable that he didn't stop to think that he may have been going a bit too slow.

@α Wu Yifan Kyungsoo's eyes snapped open upon hearing Yifan, and his arms tightened around his boyfriend. The omega shivered happily, nodding his head as he lifted his chin to look up at the elder, eyes swimming with emotion, "Yes." Kyungsoo whispered, leaning up on his tip toes so he could peck Yifan's lips, "Yes. I've been waiting for this day." he positively buzzed with happiness, and he giggled.

@ω Do Kyungsoo The word mates really stuck with Yifan. He honestly thought about what it would mean if they were to ever become close enough to become mates, and no matter how terrifying it was, it was something that he wanted regardless of how scary or vulnerable it might make him in the future. This was something his instincts cried out for him to chase and now it was at the tip of his fingers. He was so close that he wouldn't even have to reach out to grab it. It was right there. Yifan couldn't imagine turning it down at this point.

"Yeah. Yeah, I guess you could say that. I want us to me mates." He replied, wrapping his arms around the other's shoulders. Cutely, they were at the perfect height so Yifan could slightly rest his chin on the latter's head. The warmth of their hug was incredible. "Kyungsoo, would you like to be my mate?" Yifan asked formally, pressing a kiss atop the crown of the male's head sweetly.

@α Wu Yifan Shaking his head immediately, Kyungsoo held up his hands, finally letting his soft smile emerge, "No, no, that's not what I'm saying. Of course. I'd love to move in with you," he crossed the floor and put his hands on the alpha's strong chest, looking up at him, "Really~ I'm just saying... this is a big step..." the omega bit his lip excitedly, eyes sparkling, "It's like you're asking me to be your mate," Kyungsoo chuckled and shook his head, leaning in for a tight hug, cheek nestled against Yifan's chest.

@ω Do Kyungsoo Once it was out in the air, Yifan couldn't really take it back. What had been said was obviously said. The good thing was that it didn't seem like Kyungsoo was turned off by the idea. In fact, the latter seemed to really enjoy the idea. He could just tell by looking that Yifan had said the right thing, maybe not at the perfect time, but the response was still positive.

"Yeah. I'm positive. Unless you don't want to unless we - We don't have to. Do you not want to move into we do, do - you know?" he asked nervously. Yifan purposely spent some time skirting around any topics he felt would be sensitive for both of their sakes. Yifan was a bit unsure in the beginning how long they would last and Yifan spent a little bit too much time trying to decide if Kyungsoo was truly comfortable with him despite being an alpha.

@α Wu Yifan Kyungsoo was in the middle of reheating the dish, spatula stirring the food in a pan, when he blinked up at Yifan, stopping in place and furrowing his brows, "Did you just..." the omega tilted his head, trying to control the huge beaming smile that threatened to break free, in case he'd heard the alpha wrong, "You want me to move in with you?" Kyungsoo stared at Yifan until he heard the food start to burn, and he cursed softly, turning off the burnder and moving the pan to a different spot. Wiping off his hands, he gave his boyfriend his full attention, "Are you... sure? I mean, we haven't even..." Kyungsoo blushed slightly, and cleared his throat, his lips.

@ω Do Kyungsoo Happily, Yifan made room for Kyungsoo to move inside, his body naturally leaning forward so that they could kiss and a bit after the kiss ended in his own way of making it last to the very last second. He enjoyed how natural everything all felt. From the simple way of how they would speak to each other more noticeable things like how Kyungsoo just took off his shoes and coat at the door. It felt so domestic, it was a feeling that Yifan enjoyed. He could only imagine what it would feel like if they were living together permanently.

"I know. I still don't really like it when it's messy with anyone over anyway," Yian said while adding as an afterthought, "especially you." Closing the door behind the latter, Yifan followed the other, watching as he made his way around Yifan's apartment with ease. "That's great. Maybe - Maybe next time you can just make it here. If you - you know - come over early or move in maybe." Yifan stuttered, speaking a bit faster than usual to get it all out before he decided against it.

@α Wu Yifan Kyungsoo beamed up at Yifan when he opened the door, flinging his arms up and over the elder's neck, leaning up on his toes for a chaste peck on the lips, "Morning~" he hummed. Stepping inside, the omega slipped off his coat and shoes, looking around, knowing smile tugging at his lips, "You don't have to clean up for me anymore, 'Fan. I'm not going anywhere, no need to keep impressing me." Kyungsoo said, surprising himself slightly with the ease with which he said that. It was a big step in any relationship when they were secure enough that they settled into domesticity. They weren't quite there yet, but to Kyungsoo, he was already in that mindset. He already cooked all the time for Yifan, and they had the daily conversation of 'oh, how was your day dear?' and small things like that. In the omega's mindset, they were already pretty serious, but he wasn't sure if it was his place to bring up the subject. Yifan /was/ an alpha for a reason, after all. "I brought your favorite~" Kyungsoo went on, holding up the container as he made his way into the kitchen easily, setting it on the counter.

@ω Do Kyungsoo Although he had managed to get all the clothes put away in places that Kyungsoo couldn't see, he had a bit more trouble pushing away the small knickknacks. It seemed that since getting into a relationship, Yifan was more attractive in children's eyes. He went from maybe having to dealing with an occasional picture finger painted for him to having small crafts cluttering his apartment in the city and his cabin in the north. Even if he was loosing refrigerator space or room on his coffee table, he couldn't bring himself to turn such things down. Yifan was able to fish out a small cardboard box from his closet that he was able to put things in but he was running out of time to tidy up.

Hearing something at the door, Yifan's head popped up from where he was bending underneath his bathroom sink to set out new towels. It wasn't like his apartment was anything special or this would be the first time the latter would see it, it was just so messy at the moment. "I'm coming!" he yelled, doubling back to the bathroom when he realized that he had forgotten to close the cabinets. With a final check of his appearance in the hall mirror, Yifan deemed things were good enough to let Kyungsoo inside.

"Hey," Yifan smiled, holding the door open. He was a bit breathless from rushing around but it was well worth it.

@α Wu Yifan The past few weeks have been marvelous for Kyungsoo. They'd thankfully made it past the awkward first stages of dating, and now, he was completely at ease with Yifan. The omega was comfortable, and he felt safe, and he was.... happy. Really, and truly happy, for the first time, and Kyungsoo as so much more relaxed now. Having gone on many dates since their first, they'd grown closer, and the omega had eventually felt at ease enough to share his difficult past with Yifan. Kyungsoo was relieved when the elder took it well, and it game him more confidence in himself.

Today, he'd been invited to Yifan's apartment in the city, and Kyungsoo was utterly excited. The omega was very nervous, but giddy, grinning from ear to ear as he pulled on the elder's favorite sweater on, and some comfy jeans. Ruffling his hair into place, Kyungsoo made sure to take a container of the cooking Yifan liked of his, smiling to himself as he rolled on his scarf and opened his umbrella. It was a short bus ride to Yifan's apartment complex, and soon, Kyungsoo reached the right door, knocking on it softly, "Hun, it's me~" he called sweetly.

@ω Do Kyungsoo Yifan was finding himself staying in his apartment more and more without realizing. He went from not really having a reason to be in the city to wanting to be there. His pack was wondering why the sudden change of heart but he wasn't quiet ready to tell his pack that he had found someone. Finding a mate was a big deal. While Yifan was beating around the bush about approaching the male that they were mates, not just regular boyfriends, he felt like there was a mutual understanding between them.

Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo was slowly becoming a more prominent part of Yifan's life as time went on. This time around, he came back and realized that he had a bit of cleaning to do. He had clothes from his cabin in the north that needed to be cleaned, things to be dusted from being gone for the weekend. Everything was a mess and he was going to have it done for when the other would visit.

Maybe this time - if he doesn't chicken out - would be the time he would bring up moving in with each other. Maybe.
