Courtyard

@Twin~Kai Lay smiled widely seeing the other's choice as he nodded in agreement "you are right, the songs have a little of almost everything yet they sounded good" Lay took of his jacket and put it aside with the other CDs so he could feel more comfortable and moved closer to the center waiting for the music and the other to join him. Once the music started Lay's expression changed from the quiet shy boy to a more confident one as he slowly started to move when he felt his beat in the song. Almost immediately he was jumping , twisting and dancing around the place not really aware of anything but the music he was dancing to.

@Lay Amused, the younger simply laughs, fondly shaking his head at the other's innocent antic. "I said I'm alright with whatever you recommend", he repeats himself, not really minding having to do so. "Oh, alright. That sounds good!" Kai gingerly takes the cases from Yixing, scanning through them thoughtfully now with the knowledge of some of the songs were listed in Korean. Recognizing only a handful of the title tracks, Kai selects a CD which he's slightly familiar with, having only experimented with the disk's genre a couple of times. "What about this one?", he inquires, showing the case to Lay. "I remember it does have some symphony tracks, so let's start with this.", he nods in finality, preparing to pop the disk in his stereo.

@Twin~Kai Finally Lay came back to reality just to look at the other with blank eyes "I'm thinking about something more like a symphony with a light beat.... Oh I'm sorry, I drifted out again what were you saying just now?" Yixing felt a little embarrassed because of what he just did and didn't really know how to explain himself "Oh.... Right.... There are some Korean songs as well... And I also have them listed in Korean and English inside the cover so you can really chose what you like more." he explained showing hinges him inside the cases of the disks "Maybe we should try some of your favorite songs first it will be really exciting for me. What do you think?"

@Lay "Sounds great.", replies Kai enthusiastically, curious to see what the foreign student has to share. Looking over Lay's shoulder at the foreign assortment of disks, Kai simply shrugged, unsure of which one to choose since they were labeled in Mandarin script. "Whatever you recommend- I'm up for anything...", comments the brunette, only to trail off and grin knowingly, seeing as to how his friend had drifted away again from reality.

@Twin~Kai "me? It depends on my mood too I guess we are similar in that .... But usually I do anything close to hip hop." the Chinese boy smiled to himself thinking that they will get along well. "I brought some of my favorite CDs maybe you like them too... What do you think?" Yixing said as he grabbed some CDs from his bag and showed them to Kai. Lay just took a long look at the place around wondering which music would suit the place more. He tilted his head in thought as he started imagining the music along with some moves that matched well with the music. Again Lay spaced out and went so deep in his thoughts

Nodding, Kai listens acknowledgingly to the other's brief summary of his day. "Yep, this is where I go if the dance room is locked or I simply just want to be alone.", the male answers, looking around in satisfaction as well. The only source of sound comes from the light trickle of the nearby fountain and an occasional chirp of a bird in a neighboring tree. Turning to the other again, Kai bites his lip in contemplation, unsure of a certain answer. "Well, it depends on my mood.", he answers truthfully with a small chuckle. "Usually, something classy and upbeat, easy to move your feet to- but it doesn't have to conform to a certain genre. Jazz, hip-hop, you name it. As long as the beat and the melody inspire me, I just follow my feet where they lead." Kai rubs his nape, hoping that he hadn't bored the other to sleep just now with an unneeded description of his musical tastes. "And what about you?", questions the younger, glad that he brought various genres to play.

Lay chuckled at how the other looked spacing out "well, my day was busy but good. How about you?" he asked back as he placed his backpack on the floor next to the bench "so this is the courtyard... It looks nice... You dance here a lot?" the interest that the older had was growing bigger looking at the place around them, it was quite inspiring and calming at the same time. "may I ask at first what type of music you like more? I mean the music that makes you feel like dancing more than the others" he tilted his head in curiosity as he tried to think of the music that made him dance as well wondering if they would have something in common.

@Lay Before the younger could realize his hasty and probably faulty assumption that Lay knew where and when they should meet, he was much too consumed by his own thoughts to even catch the possible mistake. Kai sat there pondering, engrossed in his own mini-universe until a soft voice launched him back to planet earth. "Hmmm? Oh- no. Not at all, I don't really mind waiting.", responded Kai with a sheepish smile, sitting up to face the other properly. "So... how was the rest of your day?", the brunette questions, perking an eyebrow in interest.

@Twin~Kai Finally Lay has settled down and everything was now ready for him to start being a usual student that already knew what he really needs to know. On the way to his dorm Fixing felt his phone buzzing in his pocket. Quickly he took it out and read the message "oh it is the dancer... But where were we supposed to meet?? He mentioned the place when we were talking but I don't know where" after few minutes of deep thinking, Lay managed to remember the place and as fast as he tried to remember the directions as fast as he was there to see the boy laying and the wooden bench there. With a smile he approached him "am I late? I already know it took me a while to get here'll he chuckled as his own words before he greeted the other.

After the long procession of classes and the even more troublesome matter of completing homework, Kai pads down from his dorm room and casually walks to the lovely tranquility of the courtyard. Sitting down upon the bench and setting the large stereo he had brought along, the male whips out his phone, sending his acquaintance from hours earlier a text: "Hey, I'm here whenever you're ready :)" After pressing 'send', Kai leans back against the wooden seat and lets out a soft sigh in contemplation, enjoying the pleasant afternoon.
