@A-Yongguk He nodded as the alpha repeated the word, finding it hard to keep his eyes on the larger wolf and keeping his head slightly lowered. Zelo curled his tail closer and would have been pouting if he were in his human form, but for now his wolf just looked gassy. He huffed softly, pawing at the ground more and perking his ears up when he got a name, "I um...I'm Junhong." The deep voice made his stomach tingle and he took a deep breath as he wiggled back a step, "Everyone calls me Zelo though..."
@O-Zelo "Busy.." Yongguk repeated, tilting his head and giving the younger a sympathetic look. "I recognize depression when I see it. You're mate has obviously been busy for a while for it to have set in." Said the alpha, his gaze gentle as he looked down at him. The height difference was very noticable once the omega stood, the sight having Yongguk smile softly as he gave the younger a nod. "I'm Yongguk, and you are?" He asked, his words soft as he spoke. He didn't want to spook the poor wolf by acting like his big an dbad self, and thankfully his deep wolf voice diguised his normally deeper voice. He hated that it often frightened others, but it didn't seem to bother the other very much.
@A-Yongguk Zelo didn't like being at home alone, finding the silence deafening and the small house too big without another body in it. Trying not to let his depression get to him, the omega decided it was best to explore a bit while it was still light out. Wandering through the forest, he happened across a meadow and perked his ears up before happily trotting across it. Plopping his tired body down, the white wolf flicked his tail slowly and laid his head on his paws, just relaxing. Hearing another wolf, he sniffed the air and tensed slightly, turning to look at the strange alpha as he spoke, "My mate?...He's...busy" The omega felt uncomfortable laying down with an alpha in his presence so he pushed himself up and pawed at the ground.
@O-Zelo Meadows had always been a place where Yongguk enjoyed going, seeing as it was the perfect place to just gather his thoughts. It was strange, seeing as he was alone and had been alone for the majority of his life, but he was use to his life. And he had contented himself to be alone forever. Until he saw him. An omega, from the smell of it, all lone out in the open. Mated, and...another scent he couldn't quite put his finger on. Yongguk had been going out to the meadow on his run, so he was in full form, and he slowly trotted up to the young omega. "You look so lonely out here all by yourself," he said, sitting once he was close enough. "Where's your mate?"
@A-Ravi Taekwoon groaned inwardly when he smelt a familiar scent and heard a light menacing growl - of course it was Wonshik. Luck really wasn't on his side today and his prey fled to reveal the other said alpha standing in front of him. He stared back wordlessly as he lazily scratched himself behind hsi ears.
@A-Ravi Leo crept stealthily through the tall grass as he crept towards the animal in his sight - a small deer grazing on the edge of the field. He crept forward before he pounced, but the deer saw him and fled. Rolling up to his feet again, he began to give chase.
@A-Yongguk Taozi blinked trying to figure that out as while. But he knew the reason for that and he wasn't going to tell anyone just yet of the information. "Maybe its a genetic thing.. Alphas have never gotten the power. Fear that they would miss use it in the worst possible way. Mostly all my family has been betas. Even my parents were betas. So I was told..." He looked down again and continued to listen to the alpha. "Neh.... Now only if he could stay in one place so I could know where he was at..." A sigh passed his lips as the beta looked back at the den. There was slight worry in his voice about the fire wolf that caused him to chuckle at his worry. "The fire wolf is fine, not to worry about him. Besides I am the one who has to take care of him if he gets out of hand am I right?" The beta paused when Guk mentioned other wolves? Where there other wolves out there? More than likely they were but the stayed under the radar. "Im not all knowing." He looked at the alpha with half lidded eyes. "I just go by the books I got from my brother.. The only ones I have information on are they ones I explained. All other are in hiding or extinct from the past. They were killing wolves like us left and right and only a few really remain."
"I'm starting to think I should just get a omega as a mate and be happy with that... Alphas are really... Really a handful at the moment.." He sighed once again.
"Sorry my vocabulary is very limited. So when you say god I think of a god. I'm not quite sure what this god like is?" Taozi tilted his head, it was true that he knew a lot of about wolves and powers. But that was because of the books and information his brother had now and then passed on to him. Other than that he wasn't allowed to learn much since he was kept from going to school. The pack feared he would become to knowledgeable about the world and try to take it over. It was dumb to think that Taozi could do ever such a thing, but it didn't prevent them from keeping him from going. "I can see how they could be scared.. But I don't understand completely why..." The beta looked up before looking at the alpha tilt his head. ".... No... No there isn't." He smiled sadly and let out a short breathe. "there hasn't been a shadow wolf that could teach me for 16 years..."
Tao eyed him for a moment. If Guk could handle the effects of the first stage, maybe he could be just fine without the necklace. But the beta liked to be safe than cleaning up vomit. "I still think you should wear the necklace." Looking at it, it still seemed good and new. Like the day he had created the necklace. It was just a dark gem with a silver chain though it. The gem prevented any effects to harm a wolf in his area for long periods of time. When he created it, the gem was made from pieces of his soul. Now it was just dark and lifeless, but the shine was still eye catching. "Just tell me when you need it." He nodded before putting the necklace into his chest.
"Your no bother don't worry. Just be ready to-" The lightening hit the barrier causing Taozi to be zapped. "YOWWWUCCCH!" He hopped up and rolled on the ground hugging his chest. "What the was that?! Its not supposed to rain until Friday!" He yelled groaning on the ground. The lightening have a huge effect on him since it was a source of light. The ground shook a bit before calming down once Taozi sat up. "Urgh.. What the holy was that....?" He growled looking around for the culprit, his eyes turning crimson as he scanned the area. "No ones here...." He looked up at the sky scanning the clouds. "The sky is clear...." He blinked changing his color back to normal. "Mmmm.... Lightening.... Lightening is something I cant deal with..." The beta stood up and motion for the other to follow him. "Lets go inside there should be any there.." He started to walk to the house.
@B-Taozi Yongguk soaks in all the information, filing it away for future reference if the need were to arise. He wasn't surprised to find out that one of Taozi's children had powers. But he was surprised that the other two hadn't. "How can all of your children possess powers yet only one of them be like you or your mate?" It was quite confusing to him really. A soft, amused sound leaves the alpha at Tao's description of his mate. "He sounds like a good guy then." He plays with a lock of hair as Tao describes what effects his powers have on other wolves. He wonders how come they're supposed to have a huge impact on to others? Maybe he just hasn't been exposed long enough to be feeling their full effects? Shrugging to himself he sighs and focuses on the other again just in time to hear him explain about the fire wolf. Worry immediately wells up inside him. "He's schizophrenic. That's not good. What...what if he snaps one day?" He really trusts that they would be able to fend him off if he does attack. But he still can't help but worry. "And what if there are others with powers? Others you don't know about~?"
"I want to be like that. When I find a mate. I really truly hope that I can be that type of alpha." Right now he thinks of himself as rough. He isn't sure he could protect anyone right now. He can barely take care of himself.
Yongguk runs a hand over his face in frustration as the other starts laughing at him. He hadn't meant to say that he thought of them as gods. Honestly he had just meant it as a comparison. "Godlike doesn't mean god. I just meant...I meant it as a way to describe your powers and why normal wolves would fear them." Yongguk tilts his head curiously at the other. "There isn't someone to teach you how to use your powers?"
"Just a little. Nothing serious. My stomach is just a bit upset." He rubs his stomach to emphasize his words. Though the feeling was already starting to fade. If everyone reacts the way Tao says they do then they all must be a bunch of wusses. Because he's starting to feel absolutely fine once again. He watches the beta rummaging around curiously. It was neat how he could make that little storage area, Yongguk wanted to find out how it worked. He waves off the offer of the necklace. "I'm fine actually. I think it was just the sudden movement that made me sick." He catches the sad look at the mention of Taozi's old mate but says nothing. Some things are best left alone.
"I don't want to be a bother or anything..." He looks at the sky warily. If only there was a way to lighten the place a little...As if on queue a bolt of lightening shoots across the sky; startling the alpha but lighting up the area briefly.
@A-Yongguk * crying while I laugh* it's okay I understand ;u;))
Taozi leaned back into his arms. Seeing that the alpha didn't want to leave yet made him laugh a bit. Snapping his fingers made the path he had set for the other to use slowly disappear. When it came to his family, Taozi wasted no expense in protecting them. They were all he had at the moment an he wanted to keep them alive for as long as he could. Blinking he tilted his head trying to figure out the answers to the others questions. Yes he knew alot about the powers an such but he himself was still young. Most of the things he could do he just learned on his own. While sitting up he scratched the back of his neck. "three of them life together. The wind, dark, an nature wolves live together. If you haven't figured out yet. That's me an my mate. I don't think my mate will take the dark path. He can barely kill a insect...." Taozi grumbled softly before continuing. "My son Yang is the wind wolf. As for him... I can not tell yet if he will choose the dark path ahead or the light path. I can... I can not see the color of his nature nor my other children." He looked away for a moment thinking about what else to say. "As for the fire wolf. I have my barrier around him as well. I placed my necklace around him an his mate when they were staying with me. The necklace is to prevent my powers from causing any illnesses to wolves. But they do not effect wolves with powers all that much. Just now an then headaches more than likely.... But when he was apart of my small pack from before I could see a darkness inside of him. An it wasn't normal, it was almost as if it knew that I knew about it. He has.... " the beta paused as the memories came back to him. "Another person living inside of him with a much more darker an malicious content. But even if it does, we don't have to worry because I have him under my watch an control. So can they hurt someone yes, what happens when they do hurt someone, of course we have to stop him. Whose job is that" Taozi pointed to himself.
The beta smiled slightly when hearing about what a alpha should do. They should protect an defend. Not heart break, not betrayal, an most definitely, an alpha shouldn't cause pain to the pack they made. Or the mate has made for them in the process of wanting to have a family. "Yea that's what an alpha should do..." 'Yet I haven't found a one that would...' The thought to himself as Guk continued on.
"Gods? Ha! Were far from gods. We have powers no less but a god!" Taozi started to laugh a bit. He was no more a god than the other wolf in front of him. "I under stand where the other wolves come from. But it's like they say ' you stay in your lane an I'll stay in mine'. There's nothing to fear about us, just that if you get us mad an ready to fight. That's when you should be scared." He nodded remembering what happened when Jonghyun got mad at him. He almost burnt most of the forest down. Causing Taozi to try an salvage what ever was left.
"The ones who have most control over the powers would be the nature wolf an.... That's it really. When I get to sad, angry, upset my powers go hiwire. Which would explain why it expanded to your territory."
"You feel ill? That's because you've been in my area for so long an your not use to me just yet. I would offer your a necklace but I didn't make another.. Wait." He waved his hand over the ground an a black circle appeared. The beta reached into it an felt around for anything that would be considered a necklace. But after searching for about 5 minutes he soon gave up an pulled out his hand. "Aish I know I have one but ..." Taozi pulled out his pockets an nodded towards the other. "She gets that from me. My youngest is sweet, he gets that from his father. An my oldest is more of a introvert he gets that from his father." After clicking his tongue, the beta finally found the necklace in the pocket that was located in the back of his pants. "Here put this on an you'll feel better." Taozi reached out for the alphas had an placed the necklace in to his palm. The betas hand was icy cold, an no pulse could be felt. His heart beat was slow an low an his body temperature was keep at an odd degrees to keep everything in check. His powers were great, but the cost was his health. "You may stay. Just wear the necklace so you won't be attacked at night by night mares, headaches, or body aches. My Ex lover always said that he felt sick in the morning from my barriers.. So I created this necklaces to cure him of them...." A sad smile can't across his face for a moment before it disappeared completely.
The sun appeared to be close to setting in the area they were located. But that was only his barrier playing a trick with a wolfs eye. It was actually rather early in the day. Tao had to keep the sun at a certain position so he wouldn't be to effected by it. It the sun was a blaze on his territory, that would cause the wolf to be weakened. "You may if you want to..."
@B-Taozi [[I want you to know that I had this written out but never sent it for some reason. *sobs*]]
A soft, irritated sigh leaves the alpha as he listens to the quiet beta talk. Sure the nature of Tao's powers might be on the gloom and doom. But Yongguk doesn't see why that has to have anything to do with the young beta's own outlook on life. The nature of his powers should in no way define his own. But Yongguk isn't one to argue so instead of rebutting the other male's words he just changes the subject. It could never hurt to learn more about these powers and the wolves that control them. "Can't you tell me more about the others? Do they live around here? Do you think any of them will choose the wrong path and well...hurt others?"
"An alpha should be willing to do anything to protect those he holds closest. Even if it means giving up his life so that they can keep theirs." Yongguk mutters softly, lips pursed slightly in a pout. He'd gone and worked himself up again. Something he's prone to do when talking, or thinking, about subjects that he's passionate about.
"I understand that really. I'm sure they're all lovely people who just want what everyone else wants. But you have to look at it from someone without powers point of view. The thought of a being that rivals a god actually existing is actually quite scary. It's just something that would make one wary. That's all." He runs a hand through his hair in thought, trying to think of a way to assure the other that his words are in no way implying that the four of them are something to be feared or avoided. "You're all also just normal people though and you should be treated as such." Yongguk rubs his stomach, trying to will away the nauseated feeling that the teleporting gave him. He waves off the other a little and flashes him a reassuring smile. "It's fine. I'm okay...just a little sick. Haha. You're little one sure has a temper huh?" He'd found it cute though. It'd also made him more curious about the male in front of him and his family. Mostly it made him want to spend more time with the pup and meet her siblings. Yongguk really never could get enough of little ones. His attention turns to were the Beta is pointing and his eyes widen in surprise. There, amidst all the shadows was a very clear lit bath he knows hadn't been there before. Honestly this man is more powerful than he'd first thought. "AH....um...do you....do you mind if I stay for a little while I um..." The size of the path and the setting sun make Yongguk just a bit nervous. This wasn't a natural darkness he'd be dealing with if the sun set while he was still within Tao's territory. No, he'd most likely never be seen again if he were to get caught in it. Who knows. "Maybe I can leave in the morning?"
@A-Yongguk The words the other spoke were true enough to every word. But the future for the beta was to have everyone happy at any cost. He sighed softly as Guk continued telling him wise words or wisdom. But it was a waste of breathe. He was the wolf that ran on all the negativities of there world. Death, pain, hurt, mistrust, and fear are what his powers feed off of. No matter how many times he had tried to change them for the better. Of course he could use them for other purposes, but the way they absorbed energy was beyond his capability. "I know your saying things that could help me or should help me move on from the past. But that's not how I work or live. I wish to forget all the pain and sadness of my life and enjoy what's in front of me. I do.. I really do but I cant escape my past because it continues to replay. I figure ill fall to the same fate as my brother and parents and soon on. It repeats, its one of my many reasons for living cause I want to stop this repetition. Even if it cost me something great." He turned away from the alphas gaze before looking at the symbol on the ground. The symbol slowly registered in his mind for a moment. Causing his eyes to widen slightly before going back to being half lidded. "That's one interesting symbol... It means chaos in many ways than one." He stared at the cross and the marks the symbol had. It was defiantly a familiar sight to the beta. To familiar to be exact. "You don't say? A panda? My mate got me a puppy that looks like a panda cause my kids said I looked like one as well." He pushed back the unsettling feeling he had for the other for a moment. Trying to focus on something other than the unnerving fact about there past.
The beta couldn't help but laugh softly at the alpha frustration. "You sure do speak the truth and so many things we do share in common. No matter how bad the situation is an alpha or any wolf should stand by there mate. Not leave them behind.."
"It sounded like you did for a moment that's why I thought you meant me being one." Tao tilted his head not completely understanding how it could be scary. All they wanted was to live peaceful lives and enjoy having a family like any other wolves. Just because they had powers didn't really make them fearful. "Just point this into your mind. We just want the same thing you want and nothing more. The powers don't matter it how you use them. That's when it becomes scary, when we choose the wrong path we have to step in and do something." He nodded slightly and bowed 15% when he saw the other in pain. "Your not use to powers so its going to hurt the first couple of times or all actually." Taozi remembered a moment when ying and yang were both mad at each other and caused the house to be teleported to a different place. He sighed remembering how long it took him just to get half of the house back to normal. But a sickening feeling caused him to look back at the alpha. He was feeling hatred towards him? Did his shadow cause it by chance or was it from his family. Since the symbol did show the pack that use to hunt his kind. The beta coughed softly before Guk came back to. "Its something that everyone has to get use to." He shrugged before opening his barrier around his house and forest. Leading a path out of the forest in light so the alpha could get back home. "Take the lite path, if you stray off of it the light will fade and you'll get home much later than you would like." Taozi warned him, the whole forest he owned was under his control it was just the parts outside of his main barrier that ragged on its own.
@B-Taozi "Or perhaps it's because you're so stuck in the past that you can't see the future any more? It's become some unattainable thing to you. One doesn't need to see the future in order to strive for one. You just need to have confidence in yourself that you'll create a great future for you and your loved ones." His brows furrow as he tries to get his point across. Obviously meaning no ill will towards the other with his comments. He simply hates seeing people unable to let go of their pasts and look to a bright tomorrow. "I'm sure something extremely tragic happened. But holding on to the bad memories lessens the importance of the good ones. I think your brother would want you to spend your time looking back on the good things and looking forward to even better things." Yongguk meets the other's gaze with a look of surprise, honestly he'd always thought his pack was an odd one having symbols like that posted every where. It's not like their kind has a definite alphabet. Most of them choose to use one of the human's languages when they learn to speak. "It looked like this...." Leaning forward slightly he pulls up a clump of dirt and begins to draw. It starts with a cross encompassed with a circle only for several points to be added in heading into all different directions. "My family was always raving about chaos...but that's all I remember about it." He has no idea why he's sharing all this with the other. It's completely out of character with himself. Maybe it's because of how the other handles himself, or maybe it's a small hope that the man might be able to help him find his family. He lets out a soft chuckle as the newly named Taozi introduces himself. "You look more like a panda to me~" The alpha teases lightly, grinning mischievously.
"I wasn't saying that there was any excuse for that sort of behavior. I was simply stating WHY an alpha would act that way." He shakes his head, sighing in frustration. "One should never take out their negative emotions on another. It's just wrong. If you need help ask for it and seek guidance if you must. But don't lash and strike out at those you claim to hold closest. " That's one thing Yongguk hates more than anything else in the world. Alphas who claim to love their mates, children, and pack more than anything else only to turn against them when things get rough. "A true leader can remain calm even during the most taxing of situations."
Yongguk frowns a little, wondering where in the world the other got the idea that he thought he was ALL of the four legends. "I wasn't...oh who cares. It's scary to think that such powerful beings just live among us. Like normal everyday average joes...." The next few events happened so quickly Yongguk barely had time to react. He'd been smiling softly and internally fawning over the grumpy pup only to let out a startled yelp as the world started spinning. With a pained groan he looks up at the frustrated mother. "Is that...is it always like that?" He really wants to ask more about the legends. The alpha finding himself with an uncontrollable need to know as much information about them as possible. But he knows when a conversation has ended and that one has definitely ended. "Thanks. You're not half bad yourself~" He teases while pulling himself to his feet. "I'll remember that the next time I visit...." Looking down to where the beta pointed Yongguk feels an all encompassing, completely inexplicable, and totally from left field hatred take over him. All directed at the shadow trying to make it's way up his leg. The feeling being something he's not prone unless he's stuck somewhere really, really dark; worries him just a bit. It's not even a normal hatred like the one he feels for the rogues that dot the lands. This is something much deeper, it comes naturally like he'd been born with it. As fast as it'd come the nasty feeling dissipates the moment he registers the squeal of pain. "A...ah....that's really creepy Tao..."
@A-Yongguk "Vague... Vague.... So many things i wish were vague in my mind.." He chuckled softly. "All I ever dream about is the past and never the future maybe because I was never given the chance to see into it. Only to replay everything in my mind. Over and over and over..." The beta muttered loud enough before listen in to what else the alpha had to say. Hearing that his pack had a symbol made him remember the one his old one use to have. An knew what each meet. It was implanted into his brain so he could know where to run and how long he could trust each pack. "Symbols you say... I remember the one I saw everyday when I was a pup. I hated it. It only reminds me of the people that kept me and my brother from experiencing life together. When we could and now we will never get the chance...."A sigh slipped though his lips before hearing the others name. "Yongguk is your name? It kinda suits you yah know. Mine is Taozi, theres another Tao in these areas so I had to change my name for him." He shrugged slightly before stretching his legs some.
Taozi raised his brow before shaking his head. "I'm a mother, head of my pack, and one of the four wolves. I had to carry my pups on my own as I trained to control my powers so I wouldn't have to hurt anyone anymore. I also had to make sure I had a big enough area for my pups to be safe in as while as my family if other wolves want to ever join. I hunt, I nuture, and I keep order within these woods. I protect my family ever since my past ma- I me ex-/lover/ left me with his cubs for another.." His voice changed to bitterness' whenever he thought of the past. "I've done all this and yet ive never been a to any wolf. Not caring about the rank. That gives them no excuse, there is no excuse to be a unless one is threatened. Excuses are excuses in my book and nothing makes up for them."
Tao laughed a bit to loudly when Guk thought he was all of the wolves. "Ani, im only one of the four. Not many people like to deal with me but they surely do..."He d his daughters hair as she started to get up, and rather grumpily at that. Ying growled softly and rubbed her eyes trying to wake up a bit before clapping her hands. She didn't care to listen about the four wolves since she had already meet them all before. "Umma... if your going to talk im going to go nap in my room.." She clapped her hands again and teleport all three of them to Taozis den. Causing the beta to sigh softly as she got up and walked to the house. "Shes so impatient with everything. But where was I at explaining.. Yes its actually rather hard to control any of them. the fire wolf almost burnt my old den to a crisp because he couldn't control it... I almost took the life of a omega with unborn pups. The other two haven't done much damage unlike us. But that's another story." He shook his head before chuckling quietly. "Another pup loving alpha, you should get along with Ren the alpha. He adores pups more than life itself. White souled wolves are the kindest, they really are.." He whispered to himself before looking over at the alpha in front of him. "I thank you for that and your actually a nice person yourself. A first I thought a fool but now your okay." He nodded before standing up. "If you ever want to visit or need information on anything you can come by alright. You just have to knock on the barrier that sounds the woods and house before you enter." He nodded before coughing a bit. "But one thing, don't show you fear to me ever... Mainly because I can feed off of that like right now." He pointed to his shadow that was connecting his to guks. watching it climb over is leg before stepping on it. Causing a softly squeal emerging from it as it snapped right back to him.
@B-Taozi "It's not like that...I don't know what sort of traditions my pack would have..." He mutters in reply softly. If he knew his pack, had been allowed to become a part functioning part of it he's more than likely have upheld it's traditions. After all your loyalty to the pack and your family come first. "I...I've been on my own my whole life...my memories of my pack are vague...just...combat poses, military tactics, symbols...those sorts of things..." He can remember that most of his childhood had been spent out in the open training for something. That his parents favored his older brother over him, a fact which eventually lead them to the decision to get rid of him. "My name is Yongguk. Sorry. I should've introduced myself earlier!!" He flashes the other a sheepish smile. "And what do I call you?"
He watches the little girl as he face scrunches up in discomfort at being moved only to quickly smooth out as she's allowed to cuddle closer to his mother. The whole thing causes a wide, toothy grin to break out onto his face. "Well we are alphas. There's a huge amount of pressure on most of us to form large packs, take over large amounts of territory. Have many pups and well...protect the family we built." Chuckling softly the alpha sits back, stretching his legs out and smiling as his joints pop. "Of course that stress isn't an excuse to act like an . But it is a reason as to why most do."
Yongguk's head snaps up as the other reveals that he /knows/ the other three. "Wait, wait...you're not the only...personification of these gods? Er...reincarnation maybe? Either way, you aren't the only one?" He isn't really sure how he feels about that. Of course there's probably for a reason for them being here. Probably something to do with keeping things in balance so that the world doesn't fall to chaos. But still. The thought of all powerful, all knowing beings living among them is a rather terrifying one. What if one of them were to lose it and the other three couldn't fight them off? What would happen to the rest of the world? They'd all be slaughtered most likely. "I...I guess it would be difficult to control such a power...I wont ask about what you've done. So long as you feel regret for your actions then I don't care what happened in your past." He perks up at the talk of pups, another wide grin gracing his features. "I love them. Who wouldn't? They're so tiny and cute." A soft snort/chuckle passes through his lips as he realizes how silly he must sound. An alpha who actually enjoys the presence of pups that aren't his own. He has a feeling his ancestors are rolling over in their graves from shame. "I've always wanted some but any Omegas I run into are always too afraid of me. Apparently I come off as aloof or something stupid like that." Yongguk once again shrugs, not finding it difficult to put his trust in the other male. "You haven't done anything to me to make me fear you. Besides you seem like you have good intentions and I won't condemn a person like that."
@A-Yongguk The beta simply nodding at the others response. He really thought that these tales and stories were common around wolves. At least that's what happened in his pack, everyone knew about the past and the present. Only the wise could tell the future to the young if they were lucky. But he was never one of the lucky young pups that could have the chance at that. Taozi eyed the alpha when he laughed. He was one for breaking traditions? So he had a tradition that ran though his blood. Something he would have to look into for sure. "Don't worry, I break not just one of my family traditions, but all actually. So you not alone in that.. Er.... whats your name alpha?" He blinked some before moving a bit to reposition his daughter.
After doing so he could only roll his eyes a bit. "Most of the alphas ive ever met are arrogant, rude, and always wants to prove there more superior than us betas. Betas aren't supposed to lead when a alpha is present only when one is not. Pshhh these rules I hate.." He growled softly before calming his nerves. "Its good you don't think the same way. I grow tired of alphas that are rude and emotionless..."
Taozi nodded. "Four wolves, four legends. I know the wind, fire, and nature. There actually quite..." He tried to think of a word for them. "Er.... they have good character I can tell you that..." The beta tried to put it gently knowing full well of the three. The wind wolf was just a mere child and very naïve. The fire was.... well to put it straight a moron, but a sweet one at that. And the nature wolf was a omega in a alphas body. Out of all three, he wasn't the wisest but he was the one you could get more information out of. Shaking his head, the beta chuckled. "My good out weights my bad but even I sometimes am over come but the darkness that I control... I regret doing many things to many people. But at least I know the feelings of regret and remorse unlike the last wolf before me.." He sighed softly and looked up at the other. Trying to figure out why he was staring at his daughter so much. Did he want to take her away? no.... He didn't have that intent for sure. Then he must be another alpha that likes children. "You must like children either that or you want to take my daughter away. Which you wont, and don't. Your staring I can feel it from just having my hand on her shoulder." The beta chuckled softly and smiled momentarily. "I thank you for that. Fearing me can only being harm than any good.."
@B-Taozi "Ah...you act as if that's common knowledge among our kind..." He mutters back softly. It wouldn't be the first time something known to most everyone had completely passed over his head. He'd never gotten a formal education about their kind after all. Having to raise himself he didn't have such luxuries. Honestly he's surprised he doesn't practically ooze the aura of a lone wolf. A soft laugh flutters from him at the breaking tradition part. "Yeah that sounds like me alright...my existence definitely breaks all kinds of traditions." The comment is said flippantly with no real heat to it. Just an underlying bitterness that the alpha himself isn't truly aware he has.
Yongguk sits back on the ground as he listens to the beta speak, quietly soaking in all the information given. A hand suddenly ing itself into his line of sight startles him lightly but he quickly recovers. Sheepishly he takes the offered hand silently accepting the help to his feet. "Why would you be shocked? I'm nothing special...being an alpha doesn't make me superior and all knowing..." At least...he doesn't think it does.
"Fou...four legends?" He'd never heard anything about legendary gods. Slowly, still slightly afraid that the other might attack him, he makes his way to the spot before the beta. He plops down directly across from the mother being careful not to wake the sleeping child curled up against it's mother. Paying attention to the words coming from the male across from him his eyes stay focused on the sleeping child. Yongguk has always been a er for pups, finding nothing more endearing that the sight of one curled up and fast asleep. "You don't sound so bad to me...the good that you definitely outweighs the bad." Though he still retains his fearsome dislike of the darkness. "Ah...I've always been that way....As far back as I can remember I've had this inexplicable hatred for the dark. But I've also had this desire to conquer it...push it back..." He shrugs, chuckling softly. "It's silly." He smiles up at the other, nodding in understanding. "You're nothing to be feared. Revered maybe, respected even, but not feared." The words come out sincerely and with ease. The alpha obviously meaning every word he says.
@A-Yongguk Mmmm" the beta pondered softly. How could a alpha not know about souls an there personalities. The alpha had a slightly shaken sense an confused gaze towards him. Taozi sighed softly an turned to look at his daughter for a moment. Doing flips an tricks in the air as she enjoyed the open space. "A white soul means a kind soul. Someone that doesn't follow tradition.." He whispered but just loud enough for the alpha to answer.
Taozi turned his attention back to him an scoffed softly. "It is something I did but the reason... Is unknown. It's as if something is coming an I need to stop it or.." He tapped his lip before thinking. "I have to destroy it before it harms anything... But what is it..." He sighed softly an stepped closer to the other an offered his hand. "So it looks like you do have questions after all alpha. I'm shocked honestly." He breathed out while pulling the other up to his feet before walking back over to his daughter. She had stopped an sat in the field tired.
Once Taozi was in reach she held out her arms an proofed onto his arms. The beta sat down against a tree an rocked her gently. Motioning for the alpha to sit in front of them so he could explain. "We are wolves just like you... Is just that we are what you call one of the for legends."
He tried to point out. Every pack elder knew of the four wolves that process powers beyond belief. Every beta an alpha were told these stories since birth to be aware of them. "We are one of the four legends... Air, fire, nature, an us... darkness.." He closed his eyes while lifting Ying closer. "We are the most hated of all the four because we cause pain, fear, misfortunes, nightmares an so on. We are also the ones that make barriers for pack as while as medicines an defensive line... But we are still hated the most." He looked down some making sure his daughter s asleep. "Your fear of the dark. I could sense it the moment you stepped into my area. My question for you is.. If you fear something why go into it.. You should have just turned back an wondered... But back to your answer. We are normal wolves just with powers that most people don't possess."
@B-Taozi Yongguk hadn't noticed the shadows and frankly their inky presence made him a bit skittish. He's never been a big fan of the dark. It didn't matter if it was pitch blackness or overcast caused by clouds. Darkness makes him nervous, causes a deep set and inexplicable fear within him that he's had for as long as he can remember. His brow furrows at the mention of a soul. What in christ's name is the other talking about? "White soul?" He shoots the other a genuine confused gaze. "I know...but I would never hurt anyone's pup. They're precious and should be protected at all costs."
Soon, despite his better judgement, Yongguk finds his attention leaving the furious mother before him and shifting to the pup he's so furiously protecting. The whole situation is pretty weird and unbelievable Yongguk wont deny that. But it's still amazing to see a pup able to do such acrobatic feats like it's nothing. He's never even seen an adult of their kind do things like that. It should be impossible for a pup. "So you're getting stronger but you don't know why? Doesn't that seem like something you should look into?"
He quickly returns his gaze to the beta's before him. More curious than afraid now that the other seems to have calmed down. Surprise washes over him as the other so easily hands over the taken land. To be honest Yongguk hadn't even been that concerned by that. It was land he'd taken rather unfairly as a young adult anyhow. Land he didn't really deserve. "I don't think I have any questions. Except maybe what are you? I mean it's obvious your wolves like me but...you're also something entirely different..."
@A-Yongguk Taozi's eyes widen some before going back to glaring. He was the second alpha to ever bend down on his knees for him. "Normally... An alpha would have attacked me but would have been dragged down deep into the shadow that is under neathe you." His eyes slowly lightened a light red causing the area to lighten a bit. His powers were great, but when protecting his child he was just as strong as an alpha an maybe even more. "Like my daughter said, you have a white soul, I could sense that you have no malicious intent but I'm a mother as well" that was all the explain he had for that.
Ying on the other hand, went back to practicing her powers behind her mother. Doing flips an proofing places around. She stopped behind taozi's leg an looked at the alpha before them smiling. "Sorry that was our fault.. Our powers growing making it stretchhhhhhh " she held out her arms to try an show the other how big they went. "Everywhere!" She flailed before proofing back to the tree.
The beta nodded an looked back at the alpha in front of him. "You found the source, the cause, an the owner of the powers an woods." He hummed softly before snapping his fingers causing the shadows to lighten around the alpha in front of him. "I can give you back your land if you want. Something... Something is happening in this area which is causing my power to expand. Something that not even I know about an it's making me concerned." He growled softly upset at himself. "But other than that.. Here." With a snap of his fingers the area that belonged to the other was returned but a few of his shadows roamed to other areas. "If your curious of anything else. An the questions aren't to deep. I can answer them if you wish."
@B-Taozi "Like I told you..." Yongguk mutters back, voice softer than before now that he's had time to process the situation. "I was just passing through." He keeps his gaze locked firmly on the beta's for the most part not wanting to upset him further. Glancing any where other than him, specially towards his cub, could mean a quick end for the young alpha. "I was just curious. This forest feels different than the rest, it's started bleeding into my territory and I just couldn't help myself." His whole body tenses as he watches the other male's eyes transition from a hazel to deep crimson and he finally realizes what's going on.
Slowly, an very unlike an alpha, Yongguk starts to lower to his knees to show the other he truly means them no harm. It's a position more meant for an omega or beta, definitely not someone of his position, but he knows when he's been beat. He wouldn't stand a chance against the mother in front of him.
"I'd never hurt a pup either." He gives the little one a gentle, genuine smile. Most alphas would've attacked by now, tried to kill the cub and claim the beta as their own. He vaguely remembers it being explained to him as survival of the fittest or some like that. He'd never bought into that philosophy though. Isn't it counterproductive to their species to be killing off their young? Shaking his head to banish the rambling nervous mess he focuses back on the now calmed mother. "Like I said I was just curious about the power emanating from here. I just wanted to know what was causing it that's all. I had no malicious intentions."
@A-Yongguk Taozi shifted soon after to physically communicate with the alpha in front of him. Just passing though his territory wasn't the wisest of things... "Really now... An prey tell alpha. What has made you pass though these woods... Not many people step foot in my area. Unless they have a death wish or they need something from me.." He explained while never taking his eyes off him. It was true, the other was just feeding into his curiosity, who wouldn't. Woods that haven't been traveled or roamed are the best places to capture an gain territory.
Taozi bent down an picked up his daughter holding her in his arms. He's eyes changing from light brown to the darkest of reds as he focused on the alpha in front of him. Even though the other was not threatening, his maternal insists told him other wise. His powers slowly started to engulf the area they were in to protect the young cub an him. "Umma... Calm down. He no threat." Ying spoke while placing a hand on her mother's chest. "Mr alpha may be like Mr. Ren.. Kind an nice" she nodded before swinging her feet to get down. But Taozi had a grip on the small cub causing a slight whine to escape her lips. Ying turned her attention back to the alpha that her mother was glaring down at.
"Mr alpha if you came to take over our area please don't. I don't want umma to have nig... Nigh... Mates? For hurting you or worse... " she continued to wiggle in her Myers grasp before proofing herself in front of Taozi. She knew the rule never speak to strangers. It had more of an effect on her brother that was a omega than her as a beta. She was more adventurous an understanding of other wolves. "You have a white soul... How nice right umma" she tuugged on Taozi leg causing the beta to slowly calm down. "still state your business alpha. Did you need something from me...? " he raised a brow as he crossed his arms. Finding it a hard time that a wolf would come into his territory an ignore the signs that screamed leave these woods.
@B-Taozi Yongguk knew that what he was doing was wrong. Alpha or not it's one of those unspoken rules that you don't venture into another wolve's territory uninvited unless you intended to take over said territory. The punishment if you did ranges widely depending on the wolf presiding over said territory. It could be anywhere for the equivalent of a slap on the wrist to costing one their life. Yongguk knew all this and yet he still crossed the threshold separating his own territory from the one he'd peered into for most of his life. The curiosity of what lie beyond finally becoming too strong for him to resist any longer.
Feeding his curiosity is the presence of an ever growing power, something primal that the wolf in him seems to recognize though it can't place a name to. He just had to know what was causing this. Another wolf? Some sort of ancient artifact left over from the very first of their kind? He'd mentally prepared himself to find anything within those woods. Well anything besides a young pup 30 feet in the air and their frantic mother running to save her. He certainly didn't expect for them both to disappear then suddenly reappear somewhere else.
The scene was absolutely captivating for the young wolf. He watched in awestruck wonder until his senses registered the very familiar scent of a protective mother and frightened child. His gaze snaps up to meet the other man's own fiery one and his arms immediately fly up in a nonthreatening pose. "I...I uh...I was just passing through..."
@A-Yongguk "Umma like this!" Ying yelped from using her shadow to climb a tree. The young beta barked loudly an happily that she could use her powers for other things besides proofing places an people away. "Good now try an come down like I showed you." Taozi bit his lip an crossed his arms. He was having troubling emotions, yes he was proud of his daughter for finally being able to control the powers but.... He didn't like the fact she was so high up. The tree was more than 30 or 40 feet above ground. Not easy on a mothers heart.
Ying nodded softly before backing up on the branch. Causing Taozi to tilt his head before widening his eyes in shock as she jumped down from the top. "Ying!" He shifted quickly an used his shadows to run up the tree vertically an jumped off the body causing the tree to crack a bit. But it was all in vain once Ying was in his grasp she simply teleported her self to the ground safely. He mumbled under his breathe before doing the same shortly after falling. "Don't do that. Ever!" He growled softly causing the young beta to whimper softly an his muzzle trying to apologize. He soon gave away to her cute act an returned the . He loved his daughter more than any thing in the world an he couldn't be any more proud that she was learning her powers. His ears perked up an the area they were in soon darkened. Which only meant someone stepped into the area an was closing in. Ying titled her head when she heard foot steps but soon growled trying to protect her mother. Taozi looked over at the other now knowing he had been there for sometime now. "State your business alpha..." He glared softly stepping in front of his child.
@O-Baekhyun Chanyeol stopped Baekhyun and stared at the wolf underneath him. "I'm always happy with you, Baek. If you didn't know about that.." He tried not to squish his mate as he nuzzled his muzzle on the other's throat, playfully nipping and on it.
@O-Baekhyun Chanyeol ran after his mate as they decided to play in the meadow. Finally reaching the place, he noticed black wolf lying on his back and walked beside him. "Baekhyunnie!" He tackled the smaller on the ground and started to his muzzle.
