@[B.E.] Kim Hyorin As soon as she heard the answer she had feared the most, Youngji's ears unconsciously dropped, her eyes moving down to the ground. Although she had expected for something like that to happen, the female still had hoped for the nearly impossible. But then again Hyungseok's words came to her mind when the male had introduced her to the 'family' first. Back then there had been only one other hybrid, that eagle girl. he hadn't mentioned another hybrid. Also...didn't he say that only the leader and the second in charge had pets. So all in all it was only possible for two pets to be in the gang. Still...hearing the truth was...disappointing?

A soft sigh left her lips, playing with the thought of immediately leaving the room. But then again wouldn't it be quite rude? Not that she actually cared what people thought of her...just the fact alone that hyorin was called a fox made her waver. Even if she wasn't a real fox like herself, Youngji somehow still wanted to appeal to her. It was a ridiculous reason, but she couldn't change it.

Slowly, the female hybrid extended her arm, carefully taking the other female's hand to give it a light shake. Finally her eyes moved up from the ground, staring right into Hyorin's darker ones. "Youngji. I was given the name Heo Youngji. It's nice to meet you." For a few more seconds she held onto the other's hand, feeling the warmth radiating from her before she carefully pulled her arms back, her fingers sliding out of the grip. She could feel Hyorin's eyes on her knowing, that a lot of people actually showed interest in hybrids. Although there was quite a number of hybrids, they were still rare, at least in the outside world.

Softly her tail started to sway from side to side again as she treid to relax a bit. Although she didn't really know anything about Hyorin yet, Youngji had decided that the female must be a nice person. At least it was the impression she had gotten from observing the other's facial expression and more importantly from observing her eyes. "May I ask why you're called the shadow fox?"

@[B.E.] Kim Hyorin All the while she could only stare at the dark beauty in front of her, mesmerized by the other's mysterious aura. Too nervous to say anything, Youngji just nodded slightly when the other asked for confirmation. Her eyes widening for the split of a second when she heard the shadow fox calling her cutie, she was even more surprised when being confronted with the latter's playful nature. It didn't happen often that people around her acted so friendly. Scared glances, surprise and even hate were what she was used to so this whole situation just seemed unreal.

Almost like in a daze, Youngji stepped into the room, following the older's silent invatation as she settled down on the soft bed. Although she didn't want to seem too curious, the fox hybrid couldn't stop her eyes to quickly scan the room, before they eventually stopped on the voluptuous body in front of her. It took her a few seconds to realize what the other was doing, before her eyes drifted away but still catching a glimpse of the bronze skin. Only when she was sure that the older female was fully dressed (although a lot of her skin was still showing) Youngji allowed her eyes to return to the shadow fox' face, hear stale blue eyes staring straight up into dark brown orbs.

The closer the other female got to her, the more her nervousness grew. She wanted to jump up, wanted to ask so many questions, but being the silent and rather indifferent person she was, something stopped her from acting like that. Instead, she once again nodded, her mind trying to form sentences, searching for words that wouldn't make her seem like a nervous little kid. Because right now, she felt like one. Maybe it was due to the other's appearance, the strong aura she possessed that Youngji was feeling so insecure. Or maybe it was just the escitement that kept her from thinking straight.

Finally her lips parted, the tip of her tongue quickly darting out to moisten her dry lips. "I did. There were two guys coming home. they were talking about another fox here in the mansion so I followed them and they told me it's you." Leaning forward, Youngji was now looking up to the other female, her already big eyes appearing to be almost childlike, filled with anticipation and curiosity. "Is it true? that you're a fox as well?"

@[B.E.] Kim Hyorin For a few seconds there was just silence, making the female hybrid wonder if maybe the shadow fox wasn't home yet. Had she been too excited to not consider the possibility of the other female being absent? Biting her lower lip, Youngji already wanted to turn around to walk back to the pool, when a soft rustling noise followed by the light tapping of footsteps caught her attention. Staring at the door in front of her, the female froze to the spot, her white furry ears twitching with each footstep the person behind the wooden door came closer to her. Holding in her breath she waited for the door to open, only to be greeted by the sight of two dark brown eyes.

As the two of the just stared at each other, Youngji tried to sort her thoughts, somehow feelings desperately helpless despite her usual calm and composed self. just the thought of finally finding someone like her filled the female with excitement. Although 'like her' weren't the correct words to describe the female in front of her. When only comparing their outer appearance the two of them couldn't be more different. While her skin was of a milky white colour which at times even seemed translucent, the other had a healthy dark skin colour. Although being wrapped in a towel, Youngji could tell that the other had a rather voluptuous body. Compared to her she seemed more like a kid. For a moment her eyes lingered on the exposed skin of the shadow fox' collar bone before she forced herself to look up into the other's face.

Short hair that framed her face perfectly, bringing out her sharp facial features even more. Although she wasn't what Youngji would have called a typical beauty, there was something about Hyorin's eyes that fascinated her. "I..." It was the first time that the fox hybrid couldn't find the right words to answer right away. Taking a deep breath, Youngji started to focus, somehow wondering if the other found her weird already. "I was looking for you...Are you the shadow fox?" Although she already knew the answer, Youngji still wanted to have the other confirm it, just in case.

@[B.E.] Kim Hyorin Sitting by the pool, her feet dangling in the water, Youngji was staring up at the sky, watching how the pinkish afternoon sky slowly turned purple before it would change into a dark blue. Although it was still winter, the female hybrid just sat there in a thin sweater, waering shorts as if it was summer. It was one of the advantages of being a polar fox hybrid. Of course she wasn't immune against the cold, but being used to the arctic weather, winters around other parts of the world seemed like a joke.

She was still new to this whole situation, still not used to having so many people around her who apparently didn't seem to care too much about the fact that she was a hybrid. On her first days when bluehead (she still refused to call Hyungseok by his real name) had taken her to the mansion there had been a ruckus about her arrival but eventually it died down and now, after nearly a week of her living here, she didn't get any strange looks although she was running around with her tail and ears showing most of the time. Maybe it wasn't too bad after all. At first she had been doubtful, unsure if she would ever come to like living with humans, but now that she had settled down in the mansion, Youngji had to admit that it felt quite nice. Compared to the old warehouse where she had been living before, this huge mansion seemed like paradise.

And still, even though she was aware of the advantages of becoming bluehead's pet, the female still felt out of place. She had heard about another hybrid residing in the mansion, probably even seen her on the first day, but as the other was a bird hybrid, Youngji didn't really feel like interacting with her. She felt way more comfortable with mammals, preferrably canids, even though she also had a dislike for wolves.

Her white fox ears perked up when she heard one of the doors inside the mansion open, the voices of two males echoing through the air. She wasn't usually the type to eavesdrop, but when she heard one of the males saying something about a shadow fox, her attention was all on him. Holding in her breath, Youngji tried to gather as much information as possible from the male's conversation, their voices slowly fading out as they moved around inside, eventually silenced when another door was closed with a soft click.

For a moment, Youngji just sat there, staring at her own reflection in the water. Could it be that there was another hybrid, another fox? Being locked up in the lab for so many years, Youngji had never met anyone like herself before, so the thought of meeting someone of her kind made the usually calm female suddenly feel excited. She only needed to find that Hyorin person, but judging from the male's words said female was probably also living in the mansion. At least it would make it much easier for her to find her.

Jumping up in excitement, Youngji shook the water droplets off of her tail before she moved back inside the house, already imagining how it would be to meet another fox hybrid. She was determined to find her, even if it involved her talking to some people. Looking around the empty room, Youngji decided to follow the two males who had arrived before, their scent still lingering in the air. Following their trace she found herself standing in front of a wooden door. A second of hesitation before she knocked, slowly opening the door when a male voice called her in. Although she could see the surprise in their faces, Youngji just acted as if it was nothing. "The shadow fox...could you tell me where I can find her...please?" Surprisingly, the men didn't ask any questions, just giving her the information she had been asking for and within a minute Youngji stood in front of the next door, her fingers slightly trembling when she knocked.
