@[Cop] Bang YongGuk [S.H.] Nahyun watched as he reached into the bag and pull out a pear. She broke into a soft laughter, finding herself happy to see him eating for some reason. Maybe it was something that happened when a person was in love or really happy. Which ever reason it was, Nahyun was just content to see that Yongguk actually tried one of the fruits. "No biggie..They weren't that much, but they looked really good so I thought why not get some since I was on the way to see you.." At his question, Nahyun thought for a moment then smiled. "Are you hungry?" She asked with a playful razzed expression. "Can we eat here? In case we run out of food and want more....." Nahyun whispered, a little embarrassed that the past few days she felt it hard to have an appetite to eat probably due to the stress. As Yongguk took the menu, Nahyun reached over to place her hand on top of his and with her thumb, she caressed the back of his hand. "What should we order?"
@[B.E.] Kim Nahyun Looking into the bag, he noticed the assortment. Reaching and grabbing a pear, he took a bite and covered his mouth to chew. After swallowing, he nodded. "They are very good, thanks for the thought. Should we order some food and take it on a picnic or eat here?" Pulling out the menu from between the condiments on the table. He wasn't really hungry, since he had been stressing to much over Nahyun and their future, but he needed to eat and keep his strength up. He also figured that it would help him stay awake, since his sleep pattern had been messed up due to the hours he was working.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk Nahyun smiled at his words as she nodded, agreeing to his words. When Yongguk said that he had something for her as well, she furrowed her brows, curious as to what it was. She watched as he reached down next to him and pull out a bouquet of flowers. This made her grin and beam from his thoughtfulness; however, being allergic to the pollen, she felt a sneeze coming on. Nahyun swallowed down and wiggled her nose to keep herself from sneezing. She didn't want to ruin his sincerity by sneezing on the flowers he had gotten her. "Th-thank you, Yongguk," She said with another smile before she reached over and took the flowers from him, looking at it gratefully before placing them on the table, facing the head of the flowers away from her, so she wouldn't end up sneezing. "Are they good?" Nahyun asked as she looked at her lover, then stealing a glance at the fruits in the white plastic bag.
@[B.E.] Kim Nahyun Feeling her hand under his chin, he looked up and listened to what Nahyun said. He realized if them to have a chance he need to make sure she knew how much he loved her and that she was giving him the chance to do that. "I'd like that." Looking into the open bag he saw she had picked out some nice fruit. "Wow, those look good. I have something for you as well." Reaching down he picked up the flowers, and held them out for Nahyun.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk Nahyun a rush of guilt after she had seen the look on Yongguk's face after she removed her hand from his. It wasn't that she didn't love him or didn't want to feel his touch, especially after those desolated days without him there with her. It was just that she didn't want him to feel more hope if things weren't to end up alright. Although the solution to the situation they were in was to part ways, Nahyun couldn't find herself being torn away from Yongguk. Any women, even in her right mind, should never leave the man that sat in front of her.
He was loving, protective, and just so amazing that it was unrealistic for Nahyun to believe that she had found this man in the midst of her crazy life.
Nahyun sighed softly and reached over the table between them before lifting his fallen head with her hand to his chin. She gave him a warming smile. "I honestly don't know what our future will bring, but I do know that I don't want to lose you either," She responded with a slight nod before bringing her arm back to her side of the table and propping her elbows up. "Why don't we spend some time together as I think about it..."
"In the meantime..." Nahyun grabbed the bag of fruits she had bought for him and set it on the table. "...you can eat these." She smiled at him lightly then opened the open for him to choose.
@[B.E.] Kim Nahyun In his mind Yongguk was tearing himself apart, he wanted nothing more then to start over. He wished he had met Nahyun sooner and they could have had normal courtship. What she said was true, and they both knew that their jobs could make the other lose their other half.
Yongguk couldn't argue with her logic since both their jobs were dangerous. Feeling empty as she drew her hand away from him, he wished to reach for her again but fell back into his chair and looked down. "You are right and I know it. I don't want to change you, and I can't stop doing what I do. So what is our next move? I know I can't live without you, so what do I need to do to keep you?" Looking up at her he felt some hope, but he didn't let it consume him because he had been let down before. Not by Nahyun, but by his past and he didn't want that to happen again.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk When she saw a man raise his hand, Nahyun looked over quickly and saw Yongguk. She made his way over to him, proceeding over to the table he was sitting at. She looked him in the eyes as she walked, hoping that he couldn't tell she was nervous and shaking slightly. At his question, Nahyun just gave him a smile and nodded her head once. She sat down in the chair that he had pulled out for her and settled in before setting the bag of fruits on the table.
Nahyun looked back at Yongguk when he grabbed her hand, wishing that he hadn't since her hands were shaking. She took a deep breath and pushed the thought away. She felt it strange because he was the only man that made her feel way. She thought it must've been because she felt safe with him, but at the same time, their relationship was controversial. Hearing the same words that had started their quarrel just a few days ago. Nahyun held her breath, not wanting to lose it all and yell again. "Yongguk...I-I love you too, and You disapprove of my occupation but...what about yours?" Nahyun bit her bottom lip, hoping that he didn't call her just so they could finish or start up the same thing. She knew that Yongguk didn't want her to be a part of her gang anymore but it was what saved her when she was at her darkest. She couldn't just let it go that easy. "Look..I know that you love your job but...Have you put yourself in my shoes? I get worried that there could be a day where its your last and you'll disappear forever..." Nahyun sighed and pulled her hand away from Yongguk's. She cared for him, in fact, too much because it was the first man she had felt love for in a long time. She knew her job was dangerous, but his was too. Nahyun was scared that one day, he would leave for work and never come back. He made her feel safe when no one was around to hold her or tell her everything was going to be okay. Without him, Nahyun wasn't sure what could happen to her.
@[B.E.] Kim Nahyun Looking up Yongguk saw her, he raised his hand to show her where he was. She started to move toward him, his heart was pounding in his chest so fast, when she reached the table he stood. Yongguk smiled lightly and the apology on his tongue. "I am so thankful you came, I am so sorry Nahyun. Can you please find it in your heart to forgive this foolish man?"
Looking into her eyes, he hoped to see forgiveness, but again her eyes didn't allow him entry into her heart. Pulling her chair out, he hoped they would be able to talk and work things out like they always were able to when they fought like this before. Yongguk wanted nothing more then her safety, and for them to spend a happy and healthy life together. Though his main problem was her choice of occupation, when they weren't together he always worried that he wouldn't see her again. Sitting across from her, he reached for her hand. "Please see this from my point of view, I love you and I want to be with you. I want the certainty that when I come home from work you will be alive and well." This is where the argument had went south last time, he had yelled at her when she accused him of being ist and making a woman stay home to cook and clean. That was not the case, he was fine with her having a job and a life outside the home. He wasn't looking for a woman to bend over backwards to make his life easier, he was hoping to find a strong a woman who loved and cared for him that is all.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk As Nahyun walked through what seemed to be an endless aisle of fresh and organic food, she felt nervous for some reason. That morning, Yongguk had called her and asked to meet. Nahyun was caught off guard at that moment, and was scared to meet with him again; however, as she decided that she would and got ready, all she could think about Yongguk. The fight they had still left a little scar on her heart, but she knew that if she didn't meet him today, there would be no possible way to fix their relationship. Just as she passed a fruit stand, She looked at the plump and ready-to-eat fruits and wondered if she should get some for Yongguk.
Stopping for a moment, not wanting to take too long, Nahyun asked for a bag and picked out the best ones and paid for them before continuing her way over to the dumpling shop. She bit her bottom lip, thinking about what she should say to him when she sees him. Maybe a 'sorry' would do, but she didn't want to sound too restrained. After all, the days when they didn't call each other or talk, she had missed him and wanted to see him truthfully. Finally reaching the small shop in the market, Nahyun took no hesitation before stepping into the food booth as she scoped the room for Yongguk.
@[B.E.] Kim Nahyun Yongguk sat at the counter of his favorite food stand in the back corner. He was waiting for Nahyun to come and he was getting anxious. It had been a few days since they last each other. They had gotten in a fight about something silly and he had left her apartment mad. Both of them being stubborn, had it lead to several days of missed calls, until this morning Yongguk decided to call her and asking her to meet at their favorite mandu shop in the market. He had stopped by the flower shop and got her some flowers. He couldn't help that he wanted to keep her safe, it wasn't just the cop in him but the man who cared for her. Yongguk still waiting took a sip of his water before checking his watch.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk "Yea. Okay. If that's what helps you sleep at night." She began walking again when he moved. When she heard his words, she rolled her eyes. "Good, because I certainly don't want you." Boa thought about calling her boyfriend and just as she was about to, her ringer went off and she knew it was him. She answered it just as Yongguk pulled out his own phone. "Hey babe. What's up. No, not really, but I have to drop some stuff off, why?" She listened as he told her what had happened and then nearly dropped what she was holding. She didn't even hear what the cop had said as she was already sprinting for her car. "I'm on my way. Is he okay?" Her heart was beating double time as if it were trying to escape her chest. When she heard the next words out of Jae's mouth, the color drained from her face and she felt tears finally escape her eyes. "Okay. Yes. Tell them to do whatever it takes to save him." When she got in her car, she started it and sped off, headed straight for the hospital.
@[B.D. Leader] Boa "Love, I am the exact definition of caring." Yongguk smirked as he backed off of the woman, who was seeping her hormones trying to get him to kiss her. "I can't kiss you that would hurt someone I care about and I won't do that. I love her that even a y lady like you won't make me change that." Feeling his phone vibrate with a message, he looked at it and looked back at Boa. "Its your lucky night, I am being beckoned home. Hope you can find someone to help with that itch." He smirked over his shoulder at her, heading out the way he came.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk She laughed. It was hard not to given they way she was. "I don't need sleep or food. I'm used to being up for weeks at a time and eating may twice a week." Because he'd known that life required sacrifices, her dad had made her go through such things to get her used to them at a young age. Even now though, she didn't care much about food and sleep just wasn't possible at times. She shrugged off his comment. She really wasn't that confident in her appeal at all, but she knew how to fake it. At his next words, she scoffed. "You? Caring? That's a joke, right?" He clearly didn't know how much self control she had. As he pinned her, she smiled up at him. "Kiss me. I'm still not going to hit you. I really couldn't care less. Like I said before, it means nothing." The only way she would hit him is in self defense.
@[B.D. Leader] Boa Smirking at her assumption, that his way of taking care of her would be through _____. "Boa, who said anything about _____. I meant make sure your sleep and eating, someone's a little to confident in her _____ appeal." He told her. Watching her, he could tell she was counting the months, but didn't say anything. "Because I am a caring person, Love. Do you want me to lock you up, I could kiss you again and then arrest you when you hit an officer.' Yongguk asked with raised eyebrows. He moved toward pinning her between his body and a tank of fresh fish. "What do you say, Love? He asked with a grin.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk "Oh really? So you want to take care of me now, huh?" She couldn't help but laugh at the though. The laugh quickly became a smirk. "If I said yes, you wouldn't even know what to do. Besides, I doubt you could handle me." She knew from experience that she was hard to handle and not just _____ly. Besides, she already knew he was a play boy. It was obvious and he'd said as much himself. "If you want to _____ me, just say so. Is it really that hard?" She wouldn't necessarily say no to that. It had been months since she'd had _____ and while she refused to sleep with Suho, it didn't mean she didn't have needs. She was simply used to ignoring them. Looking down at her bag, she shook her head. "This stuff isn't for me. And there are fish cakes which are fried, but again, it's not for me." She was suddenly curious and looked up at him. "Why do you care anyway? You just want to lock me up. Maybe I should give you a reason." The last part of that was said quietly. Her life was honestly just too much and she'd never wanted it, so maybe prison was a good alternative. She sighed and simply wanted to curl up somewhere and die. Life just wasn't worth it anymore. She was all alone now and her brothers, the only real family she had, were off in Japan and China.
@[B.D. Leader] Boa "Boa, you and I both know you crave what I have to offer. You can keep denying that all you want, your only hurting yourself in the long run. I could take care of you and let the only thing that would cause you worry would be do you go get a manicure, a massage or why not both." he chuckles eating the dried anchovies that were left in his bag while keeping pace with her. "I glad to see your at least eating. Nothing fried in there right, that will mess with your body?" Sneaking a look at her bags, with a smile.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk Boa made a gagging noise when she heard him. "When have I ever loved you? All you do is follow me around and ruin any chance I have at a normal life you stalker." She was annoyed and frustrated, but mostly tired. Even as a kid she'd realized that nothing would get done unless she did it herself. That was her dad's first lesson. For that reason, she'd grown accustomed to taking care of everyone and everything and leaving herself for last. Because there was always something new to worry about, she rarely got to herself. She glared at him. "Yea well, I'm not letting him. I feel responsible and I'm going to take care of him until he can do it himself." She wondered where he had been shot, but wasn't about to ask. At least not yet.
@[B.D. Leader] Boa Chuckling at Boa's anger, made it all better. The ahjummas laughed with him, when she came back to yell at him. "Oh come on love, these ahjummas will think you don't love me anymore." He said, turning back to bow and wink at the ahjummas before jogging to keep up with her. When he caught up with her, he slowed to a walk next to her. "He can take care of himself." he said in reference to Rain. "Rain made me take care of myself with no help when I go shot."
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk Boa felt the food hitting her and sighed. She didn't have time for whoever was being childish. She needed to take this food home and then get back to Rain before he did something to aggravate his injuries worse. The man was so stubborn, but she liked him, so how could she not want him to be okay. Just thinking about him made her smile, but when she felt more food hit her back and a piece got stuck in her hair, she whirled around and spotted Yongguk trying to hide. She marched over to him and scoffed. "You're so childish. Unlike you, some of us have important things to do. So it you don't mind, I'll be going. I'm still taking care of /your/ colleague, because it seems none of you are man enough to do so." She then turned her back, not caring what he had to say and walked back the way she'd come.
@[B.D. Leader] Boa Having followed her when she didn't look up at him, Yongguk watched her buy eel, chuckling to himself when he motioned to the ahjumma to give her the smallest one and to not kill it for her. He went up and bought her two largest and paid. Following behind Boa at a safe distance, he picked up a handful of dried anchovies and baby octopus and paid for them as well. Chuckling he started to throw them at her, a couple of times hitting her head or shoulders. Each time ducking behind the tiniest ahjumma, not caring if she saw him. He was having so much fun, he forgot about his troubles at home and hoped she would catch him, so they could continue their banter.
@[Cop] Bang YongGuk Boa was so into her thoughts, that she didn't notice Yongguk or anyone else around her. Feeling as though she'd forgotten something, she pulled out her phone and called Jongin. "Hey, what was it you asked me to bring you?" She listened as he told her that he'd wanted some eel. "Okay. I'll be back soon." She hung up and began looking around for fresh eel. The only time she ever ate the food was with Jongin, but she wouldn't be there, so he and CL could share it. Boa was never home anymore, unless it was shower and change. She rarely ate and she didn't sleep. It was obvious since she hated makeup unless absolutely necessary. She found what she was looking for though and paid for it. Giving the woman a weak smile, she nodded. "Gamsahaminda ahjumma." She then turned to leave.
@[B.D. Leader] Boa Wondering around the market, Yongguk didn't know what he was in search of. He was looking for something for Jiyeon, hoping to reconcile after their last argument. He wished she would tell him where she runs off to all time and her not sharing anything about her life outside their relationship. Looking up out of the bag he was holding of tteobokki and sundae, he noticed Boa walking towards him. The one person he was dreading seeing after their little incident at Namsan Park. He figured a nod would suffice, so looking up he waited to meet her eyes.
Boa had had a long day, but it still wasn't over. There was hardly any food in the house, so she decided to go to the market. It was late in the day and would begin getting dark soon. She looked around ended up buying some squid, octopus and fish cakes before continuing to search. All the aromas assaulted her senses and she decided to buy some stuff for Rain while she was here. Not knowing exactly what he would like, she got a bit of beef for him and her family as well as some vegetables and noodles. If they wanted anything else, they could get it themselves or in Rain's case, send her back.
