"Hae, you don't need to do anything." Kyuhyun let his eyes close and focused solely on the feeling of having the doll in his arms. "Being here is enough." Man, he was turning into a sappy, lovey dovey mess. Kyuhyun used to think that such cheesy lines were fit only for chick flicks and horrible dramas but now that he actually said then, he realized how true they could be. With a content sigh, he cuddled closer to Donghae and relaxed, feeling the much needed sleep pull him away from reality. "Mm~ Hae?" He mumbled, unaware by this point that he was still speaking out loud. "I love you." He whispered before fully succumbing to exhaustion.

All his worries and doubts seem to wash away once Kyuhyun hugged him. "You're welcome." He whispered back, snuggling into the warmth that the other's body provided. "I should thank you for that as well." Donghae looked at the happy smiling figurine that hung around Kyuhyun's neck as well as the elegant key. He would have never thought that anything so beautiful as this would ever happen. A second chance to live, was already more than enough, but there had always been that empty void in his heart. Despite being a doll, there was always that black hole in his heart that felt cold, but now that hole has been filled with this foreign, yet lovely feeling that he yearned for. "I want to stay by your side...I'll do anything to do so." Donghae whispered softly, nuzzling the other's chest affectionately.

Though Kyuhyun had already anticipated Donghae's answer, actually hearing it from him proved to be an entire different story. His heart lept in happiness and he swore the whole world was going to explode into rainbows and sunshine. Being the cold person that he was, this feeling was entirely new to him. But Kyuhyun didn't hate it. In fact, he had longed for this since day one. He just never thought Donghae would so unexpectedly give him all that he ever wished for. Did he even deserve this? He didn't dare think about that. Even if it was selfish, Kyuhyun was going to keep the doll by his side. All he could hope for was that he would be able to make Donghae happy. "Thank you." He murmured as he wrapped his arms protectively around the other. "For giving me this chance."

The wide smile that was on Kyuhyun's face melted Donghae into a puddle of goo. It was the brightest smile that he had ever seen on the other and he was happy to be the cause of it. He happily returned the hug and blinked at the sudden question. Wasn't he already Kyuhyun's from the start? Giggling softly, Donghae nodded and gave a soft kiss on the other's cheek shyly. "Yes, I'd love to." He just couldn't seem to stop himself from smiling, his eyes shone with happiness as he looked back at Kyuhyun. Donghae would have said the three words to Kyuhyun, but would their relationship last long enough for that? He didn't want to doubt it...not one bit, but... he was so used to hearing them thrown at him so recklessly. Donghae rested his head against the other's chest, trying to push away the doubts that had formed in his head.

Kyuhyun chuckled at Donghae's reaction, finding the blush dusting the other's cheeks absolutely adorable. Words couldn't even describe what he was feeling at the moment when the doll repeated his own words back to him. Before he could stop himself, Kyuhyun was smiling widely, grinning from ear to ear and almost certainly looking like a complete fool. Who the hell cared though? All that mattered was that Donghae returned his feelings. He pulled Donghae into a tight hug and buried his face into the other's hair, whispering a soft 'Then be mine?' before pulling away with a hopeful smile. Those few seconds he stared into the other's eyes with that lingering question in the air made him realize something. This feeling, it was love, wasn't it? He was certain he was in love with Donghae, but that one word with 4 letters scared the hell out of him and he wasn't about to say them so carelessly.

Donghae relished this moment, having Kyuhyun's long fingers thread through his hair. He took in the other's scent and snuggled closer. All his worries disappeared when he heard the loving and reassuring words from Kyuhyun. It meant so much to Donghae, to know that his master loved him, like a human being. "I really like you too. Of course I'll stay." He was slightly surprised when the other announced he didn't want to be his master, and he was guessing friend, but the kiss blew his thoughts away, as Donghae looked up into Kyuhyun's mesmerizing orbs. Boyfriend. He wondered if this was still a dream, but he realized that dolls don't sleep or dream so this must be real. "B-Boyfriend...?" His face flushed a deep pink, but Donghae just couldn't help, but smile softly at the idea. It was something he never expected, yet yearned for on the first day he had met Kyuhyun, he knew he was going to be someone important in his life. Master or not, Donghae knew his heart had chosen Kyuhyun. "I want to be your boyfriend." He repeated the words, but directed it at Kyuhyun knowing the other will catch on it.

"Mhm..." Kyuhyun absentmindedly rubbed slow circles into Donghae's back, loving the connection they seemed to share. He was slightly surprised when the doll planted a sweet kiss on his cheek and smiled, blushing slightly from the gentle gesture. "I don't care if the rest of the world thinks of you as only a doll." He knew Donghae would be trouble by this and Kyuhyun wanted to get one thing straight. "All I know is that... " He d Donghae's hair and ran his fingers through the soft strands, whispering the last of his sentence. "I like you. And I want you to stay because you want to, not because you have to." Kyuhyun reached towards his own neck and touched the key Donghae had transformed into the necklace. "I don't want to be your master." He leaned in and pressed another chaste kiss on the doll's lips. "I want to be your boyfriend."

Donghae wasn't so dense that he couldn't understand what the other meant. In fact, he found it cute. "Really...?" He just couldn't help but ask that as he snuggled closer to Kyuhyun. What kind of relationship would this be now? In the end, he was still a doll. Was a relationship like this even allowed? Donghae was hesitating to ask that, but that kiss they shared had held a lot of meaning and it was the happiest he had ever been for a long time. Donghae put his ear above the place where Kyuhyun's heart was and listened to the rhythm of his heartbeats. If he could be selfish just this once, he would keep Kyuhyun all to himself, but it seems like the other had already formed a barrier between himself and the rest of the human population. Donghae looked up and shyly kissed the other's cheek, then a quick peck on Kyuhyun's neck, before burying his face into the other's chest to hide his blush.

Forever. He liked the way that sounded. Although he had always thought nothing would last forever, he wanted to believe that Donghae was an exception. "And... I will be yours too." He said, wondering if the doll even knew what he was trying to say. He didn't want to be merely his owner. Donghae's wasn't a possession. It seemed absurd that he would have these kinds of feelings towards a toy but Kyuhyun had long accepted that Donghae wasn't just that. He was special. And he was his. He wrapped his arms loosely around the doll's waist and cuddled closer, wanting more of the warmth that was flooding his heart.

Donghae blinked innocently up at Kyuhyun after the sweet kiss they shared. The feeling had left his lips feeling tingly from the way their lips moulded together so perfectly. He was panting slightly and his face flamed when he heard what the other said, but his heart lept with an emotion he had thought he had long buried away was now resurfacing. Donghae nodded shyly, a small smile gracing his face. "Forever yours... Kyuhyun." He blushed as he said that and wrapped his arm around the other's torso.

Those nerve-wracking few seconds when Donghae didn't respond, Kyuhyun swore to god his heart was going to explode from anticipation. But when the doll kissed him back sweetly, nothing else seemed to matter. The distinct feeling of absolute bliss was new to him. Never in his life had Kyuhyun been so happy with something, so fulfilled that he wouldn't ask for anything more. He pulled away slowly and smiled, still close enough so that their lips would brush against each other's. His heart lept at the sound of his own name coming from the doll's mouth and decided right then and there that no other person would ever make him feel like this, human or doll. "You're mine." He whispered, a hint of possessiveness in his voice.

Donghae's eyes widened when he felt a pair of soft warm lips against his own. He wasn't expecting this to ever happen and his mast- no Kyuhyun- had told him to call him by his name. He could feel his face and ears heat up from the blush, but he couldn't deny the warmth he felt in his heart. It was something he missed, yet he never had the chance to experience. Slowly, Donghae shyly kissed back, just as gentle and mumbling a quiet 'okay'. His hands lay on Kyuhyun's chest, feeling the rise and fall of his master's chest. Even if the other told him to call him by name, the other was still his master. Donghae was lost in the moment, thinking this was all just a dream. Was it..? "K-Kyu..hyun..."

Kyuhyun could almost hear the sense of longing in Donghae's voice. It was if he was asking for something, anything that would confirm that he meant something to his owner. At that moment, Kyuhyun had no idea what overtook him. He unconsciously pulled the doll even closer, narrowing the gap between their lips until he was a breath away from actually kissing Donghae. "You know... You can just call me Kyuhyun." He whispered before gently pressing his lips against the other's soft ones.

Donghae held his breath when he felt Kyuhyun's hand cupping his face. His face was probably red as a tomato by now, but he unconsciously nuzzled his hand against the other's palm. "Thank you." He replied above a whisper and gazed into the dark beautiful orbs of his master's. Donghae even thought he would drown in those lovely intense eyes and he couldn't help but stare. "Master..." He whispered softly with slightly longing in his voice.

"I won't~ I would guard it with my life if I have to." Kyuhyun chuckled, finding the blush on the doll's cheeks absolutely adorable. He reached out the lightly trailed his fingertips along Donghae's jawline before gently cupping his face in his hands. "I promise." He gazed into the doll's eyes with an unspeakable emotion hidden in his own and wondered what it was that was fluttering in his stomach. Donghae certainly brought out a side of him that Kyuhyun hadn't even known existed until now.

Donghae watched Kyuhyun's reaction with a warm smile. "I'm glad you like it, I made it especially for you, master." He gingerly touched the key that was now hung around Kyuhyun's neck. The happiness he felt could not be described in words. "Well you better not lose it then~" Donghae teased and poked his master's chest as a small blush dusted his cheeks. 'Thank you for accepting me.' Donghae voiced in his head as the smile on his face grew wider.

Kyuhyun breathed a sigh of relief when the doll smiled a little. He took it as a good sign and pulled Donghae slightly closer. "The key?" He blinked for a second before remembering what the doll was taking about and sat up a little, looking past Donghae to fix his eyes on the nightstand. "Oh, I- Woah!" He hadn't been expecting the transformation and gingerly reached over to take it, immediately liking what the doll had done to it. Now he would definitely not lose it, not to mention the cute figurine that looked strikingly similar to Donghae. "It's perfect." He murmured in admiration before unclasping it and fastening it around his own neck.

Donghae chuckled softly and nodded with his eyes closed, "Not really... I don't really sleep." He was about to add more, but stopped when he felt Kyuhyun's arm over his waist, his heart pounding in his chest. Donghae wasn't sure if the feeling that was coursing through him was a good sign or not, but he just let it be and a small smile was once again on his face. At least this meant that his master had accepted him. It was something he hoped would continue from now on. It was comfortable like this and it would make it possible for him to watch over his master. Now that he thought about it, the key was still on the night table. "Oh, you should check the key, master." Donghae said softly.

Kyuhyun smiled and nodded in response, letting his eyes trail over Donghae's peaceful expression before settling on the other's lips. He was tired, that's for sure. Exhausted even. But with Donghae so close to him, he felt his heartbeat quicken just the slightest bit, a feeling he had long since forgotten. "I would tell you to sleep too, but... I guess you don't really need it." Kyuhyun inched forward a little bit, daringly draping his arm over the other's waist. He held his breath as he waited for the doll's reaction, wondering if this was even appropriate.

Donghae was surprised by the sudden pull and just laid there beside Kyuhyun blinking up at his master. He was going to reply that, but his voice seems to be caught in his throat. Donghae nodded and a soft smile graced his face as he adjusted himself into a more comfortable position. "Alright. I'll just be here." He closed his eyes and faced Kyuhyun, holding onto his master's hand to comfort the other. "Rest, it's been a long day today, master."

"Well, considering I almost got killed because of you and then I had to carry you 15 blocks because you got stabbed... You would say that you're already causing chaos." Kyuhyun replied with a soft laugh. 'But I like it.' He finished the thought in his head and smiled to himself, taking a quick glance Donghae's flawless face. "A-Aniya!" He immediately reaction before he could think it through, grabbing the dolls arm and tugging him back down onto the bed. "You're not bothering me. And... I want you to stay close." He murmured the last part, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kyuhyun may not have known, but that small gesture of encouragement meant a lot to Donghae. It has been a long time anyone said anything encouraging to him. "Thanks and yeah. If I do write up my own book, you'll be the first to read it." He smiled softly and nodded. Donghae couldn't believe that Kyuhyun would have nothing to do, but he didn't want to ask why. "Well I'm sure you'll have more things to do now. I'm probably here to wreck havoc into your quiet and peaceful life." He joked with small chuckle and sat up right. "Well I think I'm disrupting your time to sleep. I'll just be sitting over there on the couch." Donghae pointed and made a move to get off the bed so his master could have a good night's rest.

Kyuhyun nodded thoughtfully as he listened to Donghae's voice, the soft sound filling up the entire room. He was too used to having dead silence surround him, having someone to talk to was a nice breath of fresh air. "You can still be one, you know." Kyuhyun smiled a little in encouragement and patted the doll's head. "And when you do, I want to be the first to read one of your books." He chuckled before glancing to where Donghae was pointing. "Ah, kind of? I really just read because there's nothing else to do around here..." He shrugged half-heartedly.

Donghae gave a nod to show that he heard what Kyuhyun said as he finished off the book. It was enjoyable and since he was done, he put it on the night table. "Yeah, reading is on of my hobbies. I had wanted to become a famous author once." He chuckled and shrugged as his memories of his young childhood came flooding back. It had never occurred to him that he would die at the age of twenty-one. " I assume you like to read as well." Donghae pointed to the bookcase."

"Already?" Kyuhyun eyed the remaining pages of the book in Donghae's hands and nodded, impressed at how fast the doll could read. It usually took him forever to finish a book, not matter how interesting or captivating. "Yeah, it's one of the few I actually like." He said with a smile, slipping under the covers for warmth. He was pleasantly surprised that Donghae and him had the same taste in novels. Kyuhyun glanced up at the doll and realized he knew close to nothing about the other. "Do you like to read?"

Donghae blinked and looked up at Kyuhyun from the book in his hands. He nodded and smiled, "Yeah, it's a really good book. I'm almost finished with it too." He held up the book to show his master. Donghae was a fast reader, he always was because reading was a hobby of his. He had even once dreamed to become an author, but those dreams were really dreams that would never be fulfilled. He was so focused on studying when he was still human that he hadn't put much thought into being in a relationship or any fun. Plus, he had to work to pay for his tuition fees. "Have you read this book before?" Donghae turned his eyes back to the book as he questioned Kyuhyun.

Bio: Yuna used to live a normal and peaceful life. She was the third oldest out of five siblings. She had two older brothers and two younger sisters. Unfortunately, there were some obstacles that cannot be avoided. She witnessed many deaths: oldest brother, youngest sister, mother, grandfather, great aunt, etc. Seven years ago, a huge plague struck at her hometown. The female was only twelve years old at the time. A severe illness spread to the citizens, and several of her relatives caught it.

Her father, older brother, younger sister, and herself miraculously survived the plague. However, she blamed herself for their deaths. Her spirits were dampened. To supposedly cheer her up, her family moved to another city and her father married another woman. She tried to convince herself to be grateful for another mother, but her personality was too much for her to handle. Her stepmother made follow her numerous, idiotic rules. It still didn't change how she felt towards the plague. In fact, it worsened her problems.

In the present, Yuna was a whole lot pleased with her life. At last, she was away from that horrible woman. Yet, Yuna still regretted not helping the family after all these seven years.
