@Kim Yerim (Okay. Let me know what you decide.)

@Lee Sungjong (I'm actually thinking of leaving this RP, I really messed Yeri up. I don't know how into your character you are though. If I leave I'd probably join one of your other RP's or something.)

@Kim Yerim "You must have nice every days then. I wish I could have days like that often." He pouted a little, but it went away when his phone buzzed in his pocket. He sighed in exasperation as he pulled out his phone, praying that it wasn't the boss. He calmed when he saw it was just his friend that makes him shoes. Looking up, he put his phone away and shrugged his shoulders. "I'd love to, but it depends if something comes up."

@Lee Sungjong "Mm, that's pretty much my everyday." She laughed gently then looked at Sungjong, pursing her lips slightly. Her mom would've liked him. She would've thought him a little strange with the crossdressing and would've warned her not to let others rub off on her, but she would've liked him. "Do you want to come?" She offered, because why not?

@Kim Yerim Sungjong took another bite of food while Yeri spoke, nodding his head to her plans. They were good plans. Visiting her mother was nice. He wanted to ask about her, but he'd just gotten Yeri into a friendly and happy mood. Asking her such a personal question right now would ruin everything. "That's nice. I don't have any definite plans right now. Today is a go with the flow sort of day, you know?"

@Lee Sungjong Yeri hummed, swallowing some spaghetti before she dabbed with a napkin and looked at him, "Well, I was supposed to meet up with some older friends at a club, but...I don't really want to anymore." She shook her head then took a sip of her smoothie. "I think I just want to relax and go visit my mom." A soft smile graced her lips and she nodded slightly.

@Kim Yerim The restaurant's seafood alfredo was some of the best he had ever had. The taste made his taste buds tingle and he hummed in delight. "This is good. Really good." He picked off a little from one of the other dishes and thought the same thing, although it didn't compare to his dish it was still good. "So what are your plans after this?"
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong She looked back to the table, her lips at the food. She couldn't help but gently smile at the other's words and nodded in agreement as she picked up a fork and immediately began eating the spaghetti. She was definitely about to pig out, taking bites of garlic bread as she consistently took bites of the pasta, humming and mewing happily at the taste.

@Kim Yerim "You're welcome." He whispered back just as softly. Yeri had calmed down with his promise and looked better than she had a few seconds ago. As she looked out the window they food came. The waiter put their covered their table with so many plates Sungjong didn't think they would all fit. Their drinks hardly had any room, but they would make this work. "Maybe we should get a bigger table next time you skip breakfast." He laughed a little and picked up his fork and spoon to eat his noodles with.

@Lee Sungjong She gently gripped his hand back, her eyes going to the sight and I small breath of relief left her lips, pushing a smile on the corners of . "Thankyou." She whispered, her eyes going back up to his, filled with gratitude as she bowed her head slightly. She pulled her hand away to snap her fingers beside her cheek, giving the other a wink and a gentle smile, "Oppa It is." She pointed at him breifly before sitting on her hands and looking out the window, feeling light and like she could forget about things that were burdening her, just for a moment.

@Kim Yerim Sungjong's eyes widened when she held her hand out asking for him to promise her with panicked eyes. What happened to this girl that she was so desperate to hold onto him? Not wanting her to feel insecure and not seeing the harm in a simple promise, especially since he didn't see himself going anywhere, he grabbed her hand and shook it. "I promise to be your friend, but you still have to call me oppa." He smiled again at the end. It was a little condition of his own she had to abide by, but he wasn't going to be forceful about it.
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong She was grinning to much, officially a friend. She faltered a moment because even the closest people could disappear from your life, willingly. Her smile disappeared, panicking a little and she quickly held her hand out. "Promise? You have to promise." She looked at him, brows furrowed. Perhaps she had developed an issue with people disappearing on her and felt an anxiety about it, either way she would feel better with a hand shake promise. That sets it, she thought, nothing could happen if it's a promise because it can't be broken.
Lee Sungjong 9 years ago
@Kim Yerim So this is what Yeri looked like when she was smiling. Sungjong thought she looked the prettiest with a smile on her face. Hopefully he'll be able to get her to behave this way all the time. "I understand. Your stomach was talking to you when you ordered all that food. I usually get that way if I don't eat anything before work, especially if I have a long shift or there's too much going on that I don't have time for a break." He didn't like going hungry. Nothing good ever came out of him being hungry and snippy. When Yeri asked to his friend he smiled brightly, nodding vigorously. "Of course. I'd love to be your friend, but you still have to call me oppa." Having more friends that the one that he has is always good. It can lonely sometimes on his days off when he doesn't have anyone to hang out with. Soon after he accepted her friendship their food came. The waiter put their food in front of them on the table.
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong "I know." She replied softly, sitting back in her seat with a sigh before offering a gentle smile to Sungjong, "I'm just really hungry. I missed breakfast, so this stomach is about to eat itself." She patted her stomach and laughed, her eyes smiling. She genuinely felt so much better than she had moments before. She wanted to be hugged and held in moods like this, when there was a soft pain inside that had been satiated and she had calmed to a content mood. Because of her mood though, peaceful and fine, she was okay. That was because of Sungjong. She was looking at the other, and she found herself hoping that he was one person whose friendship she would not lose. "Oppa, can we be friends, please?" When she tried to make friends, people went away. It may be her overbearing American personality or that she changed so drastically, but either way they always seemed to forget her in her own world. Maybe if she simply asked formally, they wouldn't. She smiled suddenly, excited at the prospect of an official friend.

@Kim Yerim Sungjong was surprised by the look gratefulness in her eyes. He hadn't really done anything to deserve such a look. Or perhaps he's done more than anyone else has done for her with a small gesture. Either way he wouldn't shuck her off. "And I'll be expecting it. Expect the unexpected I always say." They sat in silence for a little bit. Him looking her looking at their hands like it was the weirdest sight she's ever seen. Has no one ever held her hand before? Flitting his eyes down to look at their hands too he noticed that her's were a little cold and smaller than his, which is kind of weird since he didn't have big hands for a man. When Yeri pulled away, he pouted for a second, then wiped the look off his face, replacing it with a chuckle when she complained about their food. "It's being cooked Yeri. You did order a lot like you said, so it'll take a while. Just be patient." Sungjong couldn't blame her for complaining, since he was hungry too, but there wasn't a need to complain about it.
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong She had thought he would let go when she felt his hand shifting, but she froze when it simply went to hold hers. She was a bit stunned but it warmed her inside so much. How long had it been that someone held her hand on their own accord? And his words only made her smile. She kept her hand there, refraining from moving her arm at all and lifted her head, looking at him with what she didn't know to be grateful eyes. "I will. When you're least suspecting." She looked at his hand, happy to feel it's warmth, but she thought he'd think she was weird if she just sat there with her hand in his. She stared at their hands a long moment before she regrettably brought her hand from his to the cool smoothie and leaned down to sip from the straw. That little touch had admittedly been the highlight of her day, perhaps her week since her days were pretty low now anyway. "I know, I mean I know I ordered a lot of food but I didn't think it'd take so long. Where is our food?" She glanced around, she was probably only hungry so time seem moved to fast, but in actuality it had probably only been a few minutes.
Lee Sungjong 9 years ago
@Kim Yerim At first Sungjong had thought that she was being dramatic about being stopped, but when she kept her head on the table for awhile it seemed like something else was wrong. Like she was having a private moment with herself that the wasn't invited to. There was so much to Yeri that he wanted to know and all he could do was wait and support her the best he could. Just being the shoulder she would cry on if she ever needed him to be. It was a while before she spoke again and when she did her voice sounded sad. He didn't like sad things. Looks like he'll have to cheer her up. Chuckling softly, he slid his hand from her wrist to her her, holding it tightly in his grip. Not hard enough to constrict her, but gentle enough for her to pull away if she wanted to. "Next time then. You'll just have to make sure I'm not looking straight at you." He smiled at her, his voice was bright and happy like it usually is on any other day. "Now lift your head up. This is no time for sleeping. We haven't gotten our food yet."
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong She immediately groaned, her forehead going to the table beside her smoothie and her wrist went limp in his grip. She blinked at the table up close, she didn't know what material it was, but it was shiny. It has little specks in it that glimmered. It reminded her of mermaids or tears, perhaps mermaid tears, and out of nowhere her heart swelled with sadness and she wanted to cry. It was the strangest feeling. Thoughts of friends, comfort, fun, love, happiness rushed through her head. Of family who hugged her and comforted her. She felt like crying, not just little tears but huge drops as she wailed and her whole body shook. But then the moment passed and she came back to her senses, wondering how such sadness could come from being stopped from dabbing whip cream on someone's nose. Rejection. The small little things to get close to someone so that you could eventually hug them and share affection, and being stopped from doing so. He was holding her wrist though. And it was warm. She wished he wouldn't let go, she wanted that warmth on her wrist to stay, she wanted some kind of warmth, even the smallest amount. "Okay...I'll get you next time." She told the table, worried if she looked up he'd let go of her wrist and it'd feel cold again.

@Kim Yerim Sungjong wasn't bore yesterday and he spend all day with people on the regular. He knew she was lying. He just didn't know what she was going to do, so he kept his eyes trained on her. When she dipped her finger into whip cream he raised an eyebrow as she it off. Was she trying to be y but it came out innocent? He didn't know, but when she went back for more and came toward his face with a whip covered finger he immediately reached out to grab her wrist gently. "Uh uh. None of that Yeri."
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong Well, that was fast. She'd do it anyway. "Of course not, Oppa." She flashed him a bright smile, her hand going to her smoothie and dipping a finger in the cream. He was watching her with a rather dull expression. She didn't care, but he'd probably block her if she went to his cheek now. She instead dabbed the cream on her tongue, eating it happily before dipping a second finger, picking up the whip cream and going to dab it on his nose. Honestly, she thought whip cream on his nose would suit him, giving him a sweet demeanour and adorable look to suit his optimistic, although serious, outlook on life He seemed to have.

@Kim Yerim Sungjong listened as he fixed up his tea. It was bland and nearly tasteless on its own, so he had to add three packets of sugar and stir it well. Being sure there wasn't any sugar left over, he blew on the hot liquid, before taking a sip and humming in delight. He loved tea. It was to him like what coffee is to caffeine addicts. When Yeri mentioned sharing the burden and carrying her family name, he was interested to know what she had meant, but he didn't bother to ask about it. She had already explained to him once that she didn't want her personal business out there, so he had to wait patiently for her to out herself with time. "Not really. It depends on what it is that gets me upset. Why? You're not planning something are you?" He deadpanned, already figuring her out.
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong She nodded slightly before shaking her head with a smile, "No, I'm an only child as well." She sighed softly, sitting back as the smoothie was set in front of her and grinned at the side before taking a sip and continuing, "Sometimes I wish I had, but then I really think about it and I'm kind of glad. I guess it would've been nice to...share the burden so to speak. And also I wouldn't have to worry about continuing on the family name and all that stuff." She nodded a bit, staring at her whip cream before looking at Sungjong, an idea popping her head. She stared at him, nibbling her lip, wondering if he'd get ticked off at her. But she was bored and playful and wanted some kind of interaction other than words, especially since she was in reality an affectionate person, "Do you get upset easily, oppa?"
Lee Sungjong 9 years ago
@Kim Yerim "Nope. None. I'm an only child and I like it that way. I guess you could say I had a spoiled childhood. I'm assuming you don't have any either." Until his father got into trouble and the money his parents earned had to be put used toward the debt. Not having as much as he used to was fine for awhile, but when the gang war picked up and monopolized a lot of their funds Sungjong didn't have a choice but to find a job for himself. The waiter came with their drinks and set them down on the table. "Thank you." He said softly, before fixing up his tea.
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong She nodded, of course he wouldn't. He looked like someone who didn't want help when he could do it on his own with some hard work. She had only meant when he was confused or lost and needed a little explanation but she didn't care to elaborate. "Ah, I see. That's cool. Do you have any siblings?" She crossed her hands then glanced up to see the waiter heading to their table with their drinks.
Lee Sungjong 9 years ago
@Kim Yerim "Not really. My parents wanted me to do things on my own and I didn't want their help either. Working hard on my own was better for all of us." After the mess they got him into his relationship with them was kind of strained at least with his father anyway. He didn't bother to bring up how she skipped the subject. "I do. We just don't work in the same departments, so we rarely see each other on the job. My father is a surgeon and my mother is in the maternity ward. I work in the emergency room."
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong "Really?" she smiled slightly, "That's so cool, you guys are all in the medical field. Bet you got some useful help when your getting degree and stuff, huh?" It was a nice idea, and really sweet to her. Shaking her head she smiled again, "No. Sadly, they're both gone now. Do you work at the same hospital as your parents?" she was genuinely curious, family life intrigued her and made her happy because, well, she didn't have one for the moment. Family was beautiful.
Lee Sungjong 9 years ago
@Kim Yerim That was an interesting question to ask someone. Sure not everyone had parents, but the vast majority did. At least all of the people he knew does. "I do. My father is a doctor and my mother is a nurse. What about you?"
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong "Mm..." she nodded slightly then looked at Sungjong. "Do you have parents?" she asked curiously, her stomach grumbling as she propped her chin in her hands, peering at him with curiosity.
Lee Sungjong 9 years ago
@Kim Yerim Sungjong nodded along, following the story pretty well, before she interrupted herself and criticized the girl. "Because life happens. She mostly like doesn't live on her own and knowing parents what you to do what they say when they say it, she probably got held up at home. Or there was an emergency when she was on the train that delayed her. Endless possibilities."
Kim Yerim 9 years ago
@Lee Sungjong Yeri stared at the girl and sighed. "A boyfriend? Lucky duck. But why is she going to be late? Because she just left another guy. But it wasn't what you think, just a moment ago she was running in a-" Yeri blinked before her hyperactive imagination went too far. "Yeah, what you said. But still. I don't think she's loyal. Having a boyfriend would be so special. How could you be late for a date?" She furrowed her brows and sighed, "I wouldn't ever."
