@Kang Soyou Minho got his ankle injured during their training so his Coach accompanied him to the Hospital to get his ankle a check up. He followed his Coach inside the Hospital and sit at a chair outside the room while waiting for his check up when his Coach told him that he needed to go and leave him. He look at his wrist watch to check the time then decided to buy some cup of coffee in the cafeteria downstairs. He was on his way wondering where is the cafeteria. He saw a Woman and decided to ask her the directions, he hesitates at first but then takes courage and asked her the direction. "Excuse me, Do you know where is the Cafeteria?
", Minho asked the Woman but then got surprised when he saw the Girl's Face. He looked away out of shock, and tried to convince himself that it wasn't her and just look like her.
@Lu Han Sunyoung made her way to the employee's lounge to grab a few snacks and a cup of coffee. She sat at a table where a few other nurses sat around whom were using their phones. She quickly ate her food, seeing that her break is almost up and went to throw the trash away. She finished up her hot coffee which burnt her tongue, but she didn't care at the moment, also throwing the plastic cup in the trash can. She made her way up to the floor where she was hosting at, then proceeded her job.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan finally made his way to the elevator and down to the gate where he luckily found the taxi still waiting for him as asked Luhan thanked the driver as he stepped inside and the taxi drove back to the flowers shop.
@Lu Han Just watching him walk him way down the hallways made her shake her head. /He wasn't a bad guy, I guess/ she thought in her head, proceeding to make her way to the employee's lounge through the employee's elevator that was around there. She made her way down through the elevator, checking the time to be cautious and waiting. When the elevator arrived at the bottom floor, she stepped out and sneezed. Seeing that the doctors and nurses were rushing back and forth, she sighed. "Another typical day," mumbled and walked.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan bowed again with a bright smile before he turned around and tried to find his way through the hallways he passed by few moments ago even though it was a bit difficult but he counted down the steps he took while he tried his best not to run into anything.
@Lu Han Sunyoung bowed a little, watching him go inside and place the flowers, then heading out. "No problem, good luck." She smiled, taking out her phone and looking at the time dimly displaced on her phone. She had little break time left and it was enough for her to eat. She sighed in relief.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan pouted a little when he heard the girl's comment but shrugged it off with a smile before he nodded "Oh... I .. I didn't notice it... Thank you for the help and again I'm sorry for disturbing your break time" Luhan bowed politely before he went quietly in the room and placed the flowers on the table in the room and walked out "I think I can find my way back now... Thank you again"
@Lu Han The nurse stood there at the end, just watching him slowly making his way to her, then picking up pace as if he seemed to know that she's there. "No, it's just down there. Can't see?" She asked, shaking her head when she noticed her rude comment, "Ah, sorry." As much as she would want to know more about him, she signed up for a break and didn't take it yet, so she'll have to excuse herself to the receptionist for taking so long.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan sighed in relief when the girl continued to walk and quickly followed here "is it still far from here? Room 562?" Luhan asked curiously when he noticed her slowing down her pace. Luhan was relieved that finally his mission is going to finish now and he doesn't have to bother the nurse any longer.
@Lu Han Sunyoung felt a bit bad for adding pressure to him, so she continued walking. "Alright then, sorry for asking." she replied, walking at the end of the hallway which lead to another direction. 560-570 to the right, 540-550 to the left. She turned her body to the right, seeing the room just right in front of her at the side. She looked over at the nervous male, waiting for him to catch up unless he's hesitant again.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan nodded as they continued to walk "O-Okay I won't ask any questions" he said keeping tracks with the girl until she said she would take his glasses off. "A.... Um.... I'm sorry if it bothers you but... I would like to keep them on.... It is much better for me like this" Luhan stepped back nervous and unsure what the girl might do next. Luhan mentally slapped himself for not buying new eye contacts after the other ones were lost. This wasn't good at all he was sure about it.
@Lu Han "You seem like a guest to me, don't question furthermore." She stated as they continued to walk down the hallway. "But there's no light in the building though? If you're too lazy, I'll take them off." She paused midway as she stared at the male, seeing that he's getting more nervous as the atmosphere got some tension because of her sudden question. "I mean, I don't want to bother you, but the sunglasses seem bothersome, so.." she said in a low voice.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan laughed lightly a long even though he knew the other forced her laugh but he didn't want to talk much about it. "I'm not a guest I'm just delivering the flowers since I have no one to deliver them" Luhan explained with a smile that faded away at the nurse's question. From the environment around him he couldn't feel the sun light anywhere and as much as he knew there is no much bright lights in the hospital which made it difficult for him to make an excuse. "Um.... The sun glasses?... it is... For my eyes because I was told that they were puffy this morning so I thought giving a break from light would be good... I'm just too lazy to take them off" he lied and hoped that his lie would work because he knew very well he wasn't good at lying.
@Lu Han The nurse let out a laugh, it was a pretty forceful laugh, urgh. "No, it's fine. It's my priority to help guests around." She stated, slowly making her way down another hallway. "I'm sorry for being nosey and whatnot, but why are you wearing sunglasses inside a hospital?" she curiously asked. There were hardly any windows around and she's pretty sure the building lights aren't as blinding as the sun rays from outside. Though, she felt appreciated that the guest felt sorry to be intercepting her break. Finally, some respect.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan stayed calm for a moment before he nodded with a smile "I guess I came in a wrong time then... You were going to take a lunch break before I came right? It is lunch time so I guessed" he spoke with a shy smile feeling embarrassed of himself disturbing the nurse's break time. All the time Luhan followed until he noticed her making a turn to a New direction. He was trying to memorize all the steps he took so far because of course he didn't want to asked for the nurse's help again thinking she might need a break for long time later.
@Lu Han Sunyoung just focused on her stomach more than the guest that is beside her. She was getting so hungry, she felt like she's in the desert and is living off of rattlesnacks and scorpions. "No, not at all! Just a little hungry. Why would you think that?" She noticed on how focused the male was with his flowers and feet. He had a nervous vibe on him... As if he had a secret and is trying hard to hide it. Oh no, Sunyoung is being nosey again, whoops. They both reached to the end of the hallway. The nurse glanced up at the signs, seeing that rooms 500-520 is in the right. She then turned right, guiding the guest to her direction as well.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan was so focused on the flowers in his hand and his feet so they won't trip over anything. He was confused when he heard her speaking and didn't understand why she said that. Only when she started to walk Luhan followed her trying his best not to lose her by keeping close to her. "Mmm... Did I say or do something that bothered you Miss?" he asked curiously while he kept following her each step.
@Lu Han Sunyoung waited a bit for him to hand her the bouquet, but he never did so she quickly placed her hand by her side. "Haha, alright then." She smiled at him, still thinking about how he didn't give her the bouquet when her hand was clearly in front of his face. Clearly, the excuse went through her like a feather and she didn't even notice how obvious the excuse was. However, she disliked being nosey so she didn't ask any further questions. She started walking slowly beside him, hoping that he would follow and not run into more hesitant problems.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan almost jumped in his spot when he heard the girl calling for him but he was thankful she said something so he could locate her. He bowed his head apologizing and smiled while trying to find an excuse "Oh... Nothing nothing I'm fine I just thought for a moment I forgot something." he said awkwardly and stood once he could feel her near him but never noticed her reached hand. He looked towards her with a smile.
@Lu Han She stood at the end of the hall, curiously watching the male hesitatingly made his way out of the elevator room and into the hallway. /Why is he so suspicious?/ she thought to herself and sighed. Unable to detect the problem to why he's so strange, she called out to him. "Sir, are you having troubles?" she questioned him. He seemed to be nervous about something, but Sunyoung isn't the best at detecting things. After standing at the end of the hallway for a few minutes, she decided to go back and help him along the way instead of leaving him there. She held out her hand, expecting him to give her the bouquet of flowers.
@Park Sunyoung Holding the flowers so close with both hands was like a wall made Luhan able to recognize the way the nurse took and it made him confused about where to go exactly. He bite his lips in thought not sure what to do. He thought she disappeared or something but slowly he recalled the moves that happened few moments ago and found out where she went he walked with hesitation where to move next. He wasn't sure if he should move forward or take a turn which made him lost. He didn't like being lost it made him scared and he wasn't sure if anyone was around him.
@Lu Han Another morning of patients and coughing fits, Sunyoung was starting to get worn out. She also had another library job to do tomorrow, so she was glad that she isn't going to be tomorrow because she needs rest. Already treated over 10 patients and usually she stuck to one, but many people has gotten sick lately, it was impossible to stick to one. She was walking around to check the rooms to see if the sicken individuals were okay. Seeing that everything seems okay, she decided to call a lunch break because she haven't ate lunch or breakfast. Benefits of waking up late for a job. She talked to the nurses if all of them had lunch yet, apparently all of them did and she was the only hungry loner on the floor. She sighed and went to sign herself off for break.
Right when she was about to go inside an elevator to go to the employee's lounge on the bottom floor, a man with sunglasses got out of the elevator and asked her for help on finding a room. She glanced at him, feeling a bit suspicious over why he's wearing sunglasses inside a hospital, but she just ignored the observation. "Ah, delivering flowers? Follow me." Great, not able to eat lunch yet. The other elevator door opened, leading the way to the employee's lounge. As much as she would like to eat, she had to help a guests first. She walked to the end of the hallway, nodding forward as she waited for him to follow her.
@Park Sunyoung Luhan sighed to himself while he finally got out of the taxi holding a huge bouquet that was requested from some strange lady. She didn't want to leave a note or add a card only told Luhan to send the flowers to room 562 in the hospital with no other words. Luhan had to call a taxi since he couldn't walk all the way to the hospital and wished for god to find the room quickly without disturbing anything the hospital. Once Luhan stepped in the building he found his way to the reception where he could ask were to find the room and he learned that the room was on the 3rd floor so he had to use the elevator which made him a bit nervous.
Now he stepped out of the elevator and had to find the room himself. There was a hallway to the right and another to the lift but he didn't know who to ask. Just then he felt someone passing by him and he cleared his throat to speak "Excuse me where can I find room 562 I was told it is on this floor" he asked politely and waited for a response fixing his glasses on.
@Choi Siwon /pushing the door open with a frustrated sigh, eyes glancing in annoyance at the watch on my wrist because right now, i could really do without a mediocre visit to the hospital because one of the prisoners i arrested omly yesterday, is complaining of stomach cramps; dampening my lips with the tip of my tongue, my nose crinkles visibly in disgust at the scent of the hospital but i hold tightly onto the conjoined wrists of the criminal, none the less because being professional is more important than a hatred -or it coild even be considered a phobia- of hospitals and medical places in general/ Um, yes, good morning. I'm Lee Soohyuk, the officer escorting our "friend" over here to his appointment, do you mind telling me where I need to go? I kind of need this getting over and done with. /raising both eyebrows in questioning, the nurse obviously more distracted by the tightness of both my shirt and my pants, i watch as she stutters before leading me curtained off area on the ward, in which i proceed to handcuffing the patient to the bed, his orange overalls capturing attention to which i close the curtains to ward off any peering eyes; leaning casually against the bed, i become lost in my thoughts/
@Bae Joohyun It was quite funny, the variety of information that the media brought to his doorstep each day. It'd been quite some time since he made reading the news part of his work routine, forcing himself through the usually mundane articles and downing it with his daily dose of morning coffee. It was becoming a critical part of his job to keep tab on the names of rising entrepreneurs, CEO’s, politicians, celebrity figures, and even his own name for that matter; it never failed to amuse him what sort of rumors and speculations people could come up with about his unknown past. He’d learned a long time ago that people believed only what they wanted to believe. To him, it was surprising just how much the news was good at doing just that.
However, this morning’s headline was much more than another mere, stupid attention grabber. He sat in his meeting trying to listen to the briefing on the current state of the stock market, but his mind kept wandering back to that article he’d briefly glanced over not too long ago – “Young Medical Prodigy – Surgeon at Age 21.” And of course, the all too familiar face of the woman depicted in the accompanying photo. Age had served her originally pretty face even better. Bae Joohyun. It’d been years, literally years, since he’d last seen her or heard any bit of news about her. She was perhaps the only person he didn’t mind remembering from his early life, back on those hopeless streets and daily danger. She had been the only person he ever felt obligated to earn respect, to look out for her, to teach her the few life lessons he could. Truth be told, she probably never needed him. She was always more emotionally stable, academically motivated, destined to actually help society. Right about the time they celebrated her medical school acceptance, he had disappeared on her for there was nothing left for him to tend to back ‘home.’
He debated the choices in his head for quite a while, but next thing you know, he found himself in the waiting lobby of the city’s leading hospital. It took quite a bit of convincing at the front desk that no he didn’t have an appointment, no he wasn’t visiting a patient, no he didn’t have a medical emergency. He just wanted to visit a doctor here who was a friend of his. Friend… a word he never quite ever thought of her as, but nevertheless it worked in getting the clerks to let him onto the floor where they notified him that she was currently working on an emergency operation. He hung out in the hospital wing, pacing up and down the white halls a bit as his mind wandered off to old memories of the two of them, many of which were quite… embarrassing to say the least, at least in his opinion. Gosh, it felt like forever ago and he had changed so much, perhaps for the better and perhaps for the worse. Occasionally he’d unintentionally lock eyes with a child patient or two and he’d flash them a rare, warm smile of his. He was never the overly compassionate type, but he wasn’t a completely heartless jerk.
He couldn’t remember the last time he’d waited on someone for this long and he wondered if the operation she was working on was really something this urgent and serious. Partially he was proud of what she’d become. Being in the hospital in which she worked finally put things into reality for him, although he had never doubted her potential for success before. Sure he had found his own success, but through much less noble means. Glancing at his watch, he was just now considering giving up and departing, but suddenly a door at the end of the wing flew open to reveal the person he had been waiting for. He took a few seconds to ascertain that it was indeed her, and her familiar soft voice blew away all doubts that it was. Taking note of her relatively unchanging expression, he couldn’t help but to crack a small, amused grin. He hesitated for a moment before sighing, stepping forward to wrap his arms around her in a light, but firm hug that wasn’t uncommon as a greeting between two people who hadn’t met in some time – perhaps a little warmer though. “Doctor, it’s been how many years? Your reaction to seeing me is pretty mediocre. I’m beginning to regret paying you a visit,” he teased, sort of like the way he used to in earlier days.
