@Kwon Yuri Woobin hummed in understanding and nodded sadly, those words were painfully true. He too had searched for his wife quite a few times, wanting her to at least meet Leo, but never had he actually found her in the end. Yuri's question left him bewildered and eh thought about those words as well. "I don't know." He said softly and sighed in defeat. "I would love it if you came to visit us maybe once a week or something, but I don't want to force it on you, you have your own life to live, this is mine. I'll leave the choice to you though." He said softly. "If, after this day, you don't want to act as Leo's mother again, you're free to leave and not visit us at all." Woobin felt sad at the thought, but it was a realistic one, the two of them didn't know each other at all and he couldn't really ask her to come and visit if she didn't want to.
@Kim Woobin Yuri blinks softly at the question and lightly shook her head as an answer. “Aniyo.” She put up a small smile. “Even if I wanted to, you can’t find things that don’t want to be found.” She lets out a soft sigh and leaned her back on the seat. “What happens after this day, Woobin-ah?” She asked him the question she’s been wanting to ask him. For she herself doesn’t know what should happen next after this day. She doubts that the kid wouldn’t want to see her again, to be with his ‘mother’.
@Kwon Yuri Woobin hummed softly at Yuri's explanation. "Ah an orphanage." He said with a slightly sad nod. Leo would have probably ended up there if his mother had decided she didn't want him and refused to tell Woobin of his existence. It made him sad to think someone would not want their child at all, how could they not want them? And if they were unable to take care of them, Woobin could not imagine never searching for the child when they grew up. "Do you know your birthparents?" He asked carefully. Shaking his head he smiled at the bathroom. "No, it's the other way around, I'm the one who's blessed with a child like him."
@Kim Woobin Yuri laughs with him, finding Leo absolutely adorable. Her eyes blinked softly at his question and a happy smile went up her lips. “Ah. Yes. You see, I grew up in an orphanage until I was adopted by my lovable parents.” She started, pouring her glass some water and lightly sips on it. “I never forgot about the kids there and so I applied as a social worker after I finished my studies.” She smiled and nodded. “I’m glad Leo is blessed to have a father like you.”
@Kwon Yuri "Yes mommy!" Leo shouted back as he entered the bathroom. "And we're going to eat soon!" Woobin told Leo. "Yes daddy!" Leo replies as well as he started gathering the toys he wanted to play with in bath. Woobin laughed softy and shrugged before turning to Yuri again. "You've been around kids most of your life?" He asked curiously, wondering if she had a lot of brothers and sisters, though of course there was another answer to that but he didn't really want to think about it, hoping it was not the truth... A proud smile crossed his face at the compliment Yuri gave him and nodded. "He is isn't he." He said happily as he took out the bacon and started making that himself. "He's the best thing that ever happened to me."
@Kim Woobin Yuri watched as Leo happily ran towards the bathroom. “Be careful, Leo!” She reminded the little kid and shook her head in defeat. Ah. Kids. Always full of energy. Yuri then turned her attention towards his father and flashed him a small smile. “Well… I’m very fond of kids, to be honest.” She admits, sighing. “Maybe being around with kids for almost all my life made me feel so attached to them. Even those I just met.” She added and nodded her head. “Leo is adorable.”
@Kwon Yuri Woobin smiled slightly and handed Leo to Yuri, hoping she would be able to calm him down. Leo blinked slightly at Yuri's words. "Awone time?" He asked, bringing his fists up to rub his tears away. He seemed to spend a bit of time thinking about that option before a sudden bright smile appeared on his lips again and he nodded eagerly, "Awone time wiwth mommy!" He said and nodded eagerly, smooching Yuri's cheek before wiggling out of her hold. He then happily ran to the bathroom. "Me make bawth!" He exclaimed, Woobin blinking as the kid ran away and chuckling softly. "You're good with kids aren't you?" He said with a grateful smile. "I wouldn't have known how to get out of that one even though it's my own son."
@Kim Woobin Yuri thought it was all her fault. Who in the right mind would even joked about that in front of a little kid, right? But, the idea of taking a bath with a complete stranger - sure, let's say they both know each others name, but that's all of it. They don't know each other aside from their names and even if they did, Yuri is not someone who will just take her clothes off in front of any guy. She carried Leo in her arms, giving the child a gentle look. "Don't you want to spend some alone time with mommy, Leo?" She even pouted cutely, trying to hush the little kid.
@Kwon Yuri Woobin smiled at Yuri's reassurance and nodded in thanks. "Alright." He hummed before blinking at Yuri's next words and laughing at her joke, about to when Leo exclaimed excited. "Bawth wiwth mommy and daddy!!" He said happily, making Woobin quiet down. "Leo..." He said softly, "You can only take a bath with mommy, daddy has to... ehm clean up the kitchen." He said softly, Leo blinked at those words before tearing up. "No no no no no!" He cried loud, bringing his fists to his eyes to wipe away his tears. "Me take bawth wiwth mommy and daddy!" He cried out, Woobin bit his lip in surprise, not having expected such a reaction from his son. "Leo he said softly, mommy was joking, daddy can't take a bath together with you two." He said carefully but the boy only started crying louder. "Bawth wiwth mommy and daddy!" He screamed, Woobin flinching because he had almost never seen his son like this.
@Kim Woobin "It's alright." Yuri nudged on Woobin's elbow, smiling at him to reassure him that it's really fine with her to take a bath with Leo. He's just a kid after all - a kid who wants to spend every second of his life with his mom. How could his real mother leave just like that? "It's not like I've never took a bath with someone. You can even join us if you want." Yuri joked and lets out a soft laugh, before realizing what did she just said.
@Kwon Yuri Woobin smiled slightly at Yuri. "I'm sorry for the trouble." He apologized softly, knowing his son could be very demanding sometimes and he hoped Yuri wouldn't mind too much. He smiled slightly at Yuri. "How about after breakfast, you take a bath?" He asked with a small smile. "You didn't get the chance to wash up after all. Leo's eyes widened in excitement at those words. "Me take bawth wiwth mommy!" He exclaimed eagerly, making Woobin blink. Where did the child get all those ideas actually? He wondered, making him suspect that Leo had been thinking of his mother more than Woobin had realized. He looked up at Yuri with an apologetic smile. "Would you terribly mind taking a bath with him?" He asked carefully, though Leo was a three year old child, he did not know if the girl would like taking a bath with a child she technically did not know.
@Kim Woobin Yuri smiled at Leo's cuteness, nodding at the little kid's request. "Alright alright! Mommy will cook some bacon too, alright?" She giggled softly, placing the cooked eggs on a plate before bringing it towards the table.
@Kwon Yuri Leo smiled brightly when his mommy reassured him she was not angry at him at all. "Mommy mommy mommy!" Leo exclaimed. "Me want towt and bawon too!" He said happily, making Woobin laughed softly. "You shouldn't ask too much of mommy." He said and lightly pecked Leo's cheek. "But but but!" Leo complained and pouted, wanting to eat a lot of food prepared by his mommy. "Mommy pwease?" He asked, his eyes wide, wearing the cutest expression ever. The child was slightly manipulative, even if he did not know it himself, Woobin never could deny Leo anything when he gave him that puppy gaze.
@Kim Woobin Yuri shook her head lightly and smiled reassuringly at the little boy. "Of course no! Why would mommy be angry?" She smiled again and laugh softly at the cuteness of the two guys.
She used to imagine this scene with her best friend Jonghyun. Him, her, their little ones. Enjoying their breakfast altogether, no one's left out at lunch and filled with talks at dinner. Yuri's smile falters, remembering how she used to want to have her own family.
@Kwon Yuri "M-mommy no angwy?" Leo asked softly as he received a hug from his mommy, wrapping his short arms around her neck as well. The child smiled relieved at the kiss and nodded, accepting to bowl and climbing off the chair. "Tabwle tabwle!" He sang and quickly did as he was told, barely able to reach the top but still being able to do so. Woobin came back with a smile, liking how Yuri got along with Leo. He picked his son up in his arms and walked back over to Yuri, watching her cook. "That looks good doesn't it?" He asked Leo who nodded excited. "Goooood!" The child said happily.
@Kim Woobin "Oh? Why is my son look like he's gonna cry hmm?" Yuri hugged the kid and couldn't help herself from planting a light kiss on the kid's forehead. "It's alright. Mommy will clean it, okay? But before that, let's cook these eggs!" She excitedly said, gently letting go of the kid and brings the bowl close to the pan, slowly pouring the eggs on it. "Could you put this bowl on the table Leo?" She said with a soft voice, handing the bowl to the kid very carefully and turned towards the pan again, cooking the eggs.
@Kwon Yuri Leo grinned proudly as his mommy approved of his hard work. "Yay!" He copied, lifting both his hands but still holding the stirrer, therefore causing a bit to spill on the ground. The delighted expression on his face immediately changed into a slightly fearful one, afraid his mommy would get angry at him for making the mess. He'd heard stories from his friends about their mommy being very scary when she was angry. "S-sowwy mommy." Leo said with a tiny voice, only a few blinks away from crying. Woobin glanced up at the two of them, he himself never scolded Leo for making a mess, he was still a child of 3 years old, but he often got the comment that he was way too lenient with the child. It was just a fact that he never wanted to see his little Leo cry, the boy's smile was way too bright to ever allow a sad expression on his face.
"Yeo that right, Leo baby." Yuri cheered on the little kid as he stirs the eggs just the way she instructed him. "You're doing very good, yay!" She cheered happily once again, even clapping her hands lightly to show her approve. Yuri smiles at the sight of Woobin kissing Leo's head, it was indeed one of her favorite moments - she treasures memories like this, being able to witness something she dreamed of when she was a child. She was stucked in her own thoughts and was only distracted when Woobin pulled her closer to him by her waist and the next thing he did surely made her blushed. It was a quick peck, yes. But still... Yuri touched her cheek that got kissed and tried to pushed away the weird feeling it brought. "You're umm... Welcome."
@Kwon Yuri [ Oh no I'm so sorry, I don't know how I missed this T^T and here I was waiting for your reply, I should have known DX ]
Leo giggled happily as his mommy lifted him up and placed him on top of the chair so he could see the counter. "Yes mommy!" He said, a bright, childish smile on his features. A frown of concentration appeared on his forehead when he started stirring, wanting to do his best and make mommy proud. Woobin smiled and approached Leo when he saw how much fun he was having and knew it would be alright to leave Yuri alone with Leo, the two seemed to get along great and Yuri knew how to handle children it seemed. "Daddy is going to prepare the table alright?" He asked Leo with a smile, wrapped his hand around the side of the small head and pulling him a bit closer to give a kiss to the top of his head, Leo smiling brightly at the kiss. "Mommy too!" He exclaimed and Woobin blinked before laughing. "Alright." He smiled, willing to do anything to make Leo happy. He pulled Yuri closer by her waist and placed a quick peck on her cheek before letting you go. "Thanks Yuri." He told her and smiled before taking out the plates and cutlery to prepare the table for the three of them, it was a bit of a strange feeling but still comfortable, something Woobin remembered once dreaming of doing with his wife.
@Kim Woobin Yuri smiled at the kid, patting his head lightly and takes the eggs from him. She cracked it open and placed them in the bowl. She took a chair and puts Leo on top, handing him the stirrer. "Would you stir it for me, baby?" Then she guides Leo's small hands in stirring the eggs gently. "Keep it up, okay?" She sprinkles it with garlic powder and the stove, pouring small amount of cooking oil. Glancing at Woobin who is watching his son, she couldn't help but smile. Leo is a one fortunate child who happens to have a responsible father like Woobin. She wishes every parent would be just like him - knows how to love and take care of their child well.
@Kwon Yuri "On the street." Woobin replied when Yuri had calmed down again. "You really don't remember?" He could not hide his curiosity, finding it strange she did not really remember. "You got bothered by a few guys so I helped out and while I wanted to bring you home, you suddenly passed out." He told the woman as he placed her on the ground, smiling at Leo's eagerness as he followed the two into the kitchen.
Leo nodded excited and hurried towards the fridge, opening the door and then looking up at his father who had followed him, knowing Leo would not be able to reach. Woobin laughed softly and took out the eggs, handing them to Leo who proudly returned to Yuri with them. "Hewe mommy!"
@Kim Woobin “I PASSED OUT---“ Yuri immediately covered and calmed down, but still looking surprise. “I passed out? Where?” Her eyes were wide and the surprise tone was obvious in her voice. She was even more shocked when Woobin casually lifts her up in his arms and gently puts her on the ground. She couldn’t contain her cheeks from getting hot and so she looked at Leo as well just to avoid him noticing it. The little kid pulled her out of the bedroom, down to the kitchen and Yuri admired how neat and cozy their place is.
Yuri moves gracefully inside the kitchen. She placed the pan on the stove and turned to the little kid who was excited to help her. “Can you get the eggs in the fridge, baby?” She smiled sweetly at Leo.
Woobin blinked and laughed softly before nodding. "Well you were drunk and passed out in my arms so I brought you to my house." He shrugged, there wasn't much more to it after all. Woobin blinked at Yuri's words and looked back at Leo who puffed his cheeks out at her words. "I think... you might be right." He said, a bit surprised. Woobin laughed softly and stood up from the bed, walking over to Yuri and picking her up from the bed and placing her down on the ground before looking up at Leo in question, the boy had the smile back on his features and he wobbled towards Yuri, taking her hand and drawing her outside the bedroom. "Mommy cook!" He exclaimed happily. "Me hewp!" The boy grinned and entered the kitchen while holding Yuri's hand, Woobin following with a laugh.
“Well. You still have to explain to me how did I ended up here.” Yuri said in a whisper, of course she needs to know what happened last night. Every bit of its details as much as possible. After all, she would never try something like going to a place with a complete stranger. She must’ve passed out or something? She pushed the thoughts away for a while and smiled softly at Leo as he got up from the bed. Eyeing the kid from time to time as he cheered on her, she wasn’t sure if she got it right and so she nodded on Woobin’s consent about using the kitchen, the house to be specific – freely. “Umm,” She glanced at Woobin as the kid makes a face. “I think he wants you to pick me up as well?” She smiled awkwardly, blinking softly at Leo. “But baby… Mommy is too heavy.”
