Background: Before everything, one year ago, everything was fine. His brother was still alive, his parents were still tolerable because his brother was alive, and Byun Baekhyun was the happiest he could ever be because his brother was alive.

But then his brother wasn't alive anymore.

That's where everything went to , basically. With their favorite son six feet under the ground, everything falls onto Baekhyun. They were poor, yes, and education had been everything his parents pushed them to succeed in, because that had been the only way they would survive, but after the revolution? Things went to real fast. All because they were saved by Big Brother, according to his father.

With his father an avid supporter of Big Brother, and his mother an avid supporter of his father, Baekhyun didn't really have a choice, now did he? And so Byun Baekhyun, with the foolish love he holds for all that is left of his family, joins as a soldier and bites his tongue.

With or against the government?: ..... She hates the military more than anything due to the growing power of militarism, and she hates how fake the government is......... I'd say more or less, she's pretty against it, but isn't actually allowed to so she tries to convince herself she doesn't.

Background:
ed, is the only word to explain where Joanna came to be and who she is now. Her life, all her life, she's been screwed over. Her biological parents were murdered in a rebellion, and she's only ever seen them once in her life--that was when she was born. Joanna only knows of them from photos and stories told by her adoptive parents, and even /they/ weren't necessarily there for her. At fourteen, she met a man. He was remarkable, a magnificent man who changed her life for the better--if anything, for the best. He filled up the missing parts in her life; became the best friend she never had, became the parent when her adoptives were away, became the light that lit up her heart. For three years, she spent her time loving him, more and more-so every day...until the day she turned 17, and he promised her they were going to flee. She watched him die, she was standing a good 20-30 feet away of the scene as the bullet shot straight through his skull. He told her to run, so she did, and...that was it. That day in April of 1982, her life took its 90 degrees drop from the heavens. The military took her away from home a couple days later, and drafted her into the army due to unknown reason and had threatened her that if she didn't agree on serving, they were going to destruct her home and kill her parents. They told her she was going to be okay, but...when you're a woman in the military full of men, let alone a nineteen year old...things do get dark.

Name: Kim Taehyung (anonymous alias: V)

Job: Jr. Clerk at the Ministry of education, and a high ranking member of Anonymous.

Background: Nearly two years ago, Kim Taehyung was nothing but a normal teenager. His parents were if not well off to the extent of the top 1%, were clawing their way up and were part of the very small population that had found jobs that earned enough to let them live comfortably in the capitalist world that had just come out of war. He wasn't so dense as to be blissfully unaware of the less fortunate as it was before him each day, his youth and his own families situation secured him from experiencing it first hand.

When 1983 and it's revolution came along, all that made his small world was ruined with the death of his parents who, like several others, was caught in the crossfire between the government and the revolutionaries. With nowhere to go and nowhere to take his two younger siblings, Taehyung saught help from the only person who he knew was capable of giving it, and would have a heart to.

Now, in 1984, after many unspeakable trials events that turned Taehyung's view on life around, he is second in command to one of the masterminds behind Anonymous. His morals have come a far way from being bent on causing no one harm. When one day the options fell between ending a life and risking the anonymity of Anonymous, Taehyung chose the first and has not since looked back.

In ways the ideal soldier, Taehyung is rational and knows what sacrifices must be made, and what he needs to do. He would give his life for Anonymous in hopes that one day his sacrifice would become another step towards freedom for the country he calls home.

Name: Taylor Momsen

Job: Medical Nurse

With or against the government?: Against, and very much a rebel

Background: Taylor was considered a curse from the day she was born. At some point, as an infant child, she got her head stuck inside her mother's pelvis and could not be pushed out for the life of her. The birthing turned into a highly dangerous medical operation, the doctors having to perform a C-section. They saved the young Taylor and removed her from her mother's pelvis just in time. Her mother had only lived long enough to hold the infant in her arms and give the girl a name. After six minutes had passed, she died from the harsh operation. Taylor's father blamed her for the occurrence, and raised her with much resent. Throughout her childhood, she was beat and emotionally abused by her father. Many a night he would arrive home drunk and disgruntled, leaving poor Taylor to keep the house in order and take care of herself. She was always obedient though, and did extremely well in school. So much that she had even skipped one grade.

On her 16th birthday, Taylor had gone out with a few friends to a frat house party. She and her mates drank far too much, and somewhere between all the havoc, drugs were slipped into her drink. Taylor grew drowsy and was then rendered unconscious. When she awoke, there was a frat boy sweating bullets above her. He had his way with her, then left the girl as if nothing ever happened. None of her friends seemed to have a clue what happened, and neither did any of them look worried about her when she returned downstairs to the party. So she left all on her lonesome, wandering the streets at night, and she was never seen again them or her father.

Taylor was found that next morning asleep in a dirty alleyway by one of the soldiers. The man was kind and took her into his home. His wife and their young children treated her with the utmost respect and eventually adopted her. She was back at school in no time, and had entered university at the age of 18. She graduated a few years later and became a medical nurse. She now works in a hospital and tends to wounded soldiers everyday, but as she has overheard them speaking, she has grown to dislike communism. Her first experience Outside was when she met a rebel friend who snuck her to the Outside. When she saw how happy everyone was, she wanted to be like them, and it was then that she was officially involved with the Anonymous.

-It varies. It is dependent on who will influence him the most, given the "copycat behavior" that came along with his mental disability; however, his mental disability itself can spark deviance. Currently: WITH.

Background:
-James Anthony “Jim” Sturgess, is a 26 year-old man suffering from a developmental disability that regressed his mental capacity to a child’s age wherein curiosity and questions are abundant. His disability gave the government no other option but to confine him in a mental institution to “correct” his deviant way of thinking. However, given that children may possess a copycat behavior (where children copy everything that adults demonstrate to them), liberation turned out easy for him.

Especially with the aid from his father, Peter Sturgess, owner of an armament manufacturing company called “Gladiators Inc.” which manufactures and supplies the government with the much needed military weapons and equipment. Being an only child, Jim was the likeliest candidate to inherit and run the company once his father’s term is over.

But no one knew about the stirring curiosity inside him—the curiosity (that leads to a number of questions) veiled by this seemingly “act” of obedience.
Will he be a threat? Or an ally? A source of trouble? Or a spark of an eye-opening deviance?
And who will reach him first to take advantage of this copycat behavior? The government or the rebels?

Job: Barrista at a Café - It is one of the place where hidden messages are sent via notes (in the form of puzzles) on pastries.

With or Against the Government: Against.

Background: Before the uprising of the government Sungmin was passionate about becoming a dancer. As the government came into power and with it the falling of an entertainment culture, he was offered a job at a family owned café. Considering the fact that he had no skill sets for another job, he took the job. Presently the café is used as a place where hidden messages are sent to those customers, that he knows are part of the anonymous, moon pastries are given with messages printed on top as a simple puzzle or mosaic. To read the message, each of the pastries are cut into five parts. Then were pieced together to reveal the message. The pieces of sweets are then eaten to destroy the message.

Background: Grew up in a highly military family, that was completely for the governmental rules, but has never been one to easily obey to rules and hates swimming with the stream, so he ran away the moment he realized he could not keep up his act and needed to do something against the world he's currently living in. He now is a barkeeper for one of the few actually legal clubs in the country and runs an illegal tattoo studio 'Outside'.

Background: Her family fell into turmoil upon her sister's death as the communists ideals began to take it's place. Deranged by the lost of his beloved daughter, Krystal's father would be the first to lose his mind, thus causing the government to intervene. Her family was taken, but she had escaped, knowing that they may come for her she changed her identity to Soojung.

Name: David Schmitt

Age: 27

Job: Creates propaganda films for the government; directs and animates them.

With or against gov't: Works for the government, but is secretly against it.

Background:The only reason David was put on this Earth was to make money for his family. No really, that's what they told him. Life was hard in a society as corrupt as the one that used to be before the revolution, and he was their golden ticket out of poverty. From an early age, David was forced into showbiz, performing music and acting in films as means of making money for his parents. He was only a paycheck for them. They did drugs and abused him.

The company he was signed to did as well, in order to brainwash him to make him a corperate puppet to bring in revenueh. Every song he sang, every movie he was in, all of it was the same: mindless, meaningless things that were meant to fascinate and distract. It was all to ensure that the actors believed that this was their way out of poverty, and the population was blinded by the mindless feel good songs and movies to recognize the corruption of their capitalistic government.

Strange thing was, unlike all of the other actors/singers/etc signed to the same company, the brainwashing programming never worked on David. He always knew he was capitalism, he knew how corrupt the government was. He just never told anyone. He pretended to be a puppet, just like he was supposed to.

At age 16, when it was discovered his parents abused him, he got taken away, and his talent agent adopted him. He was better cared for, he wasn't hit and he had nice things...but only in return for one thing. He had to give his adoptive father ual favors. His talent agent had a for being a "father" to the same person he screwed. Now, David has the same because of it. He wants to play father to his lover, too. Except, unlike his talent agent, David won't force himself on anyone. He wants a lover who loves him willingly.

After the revolution a year ago and the changes, David was appointed by the state to create propaganda films, not a far cry from where he started in this business-- now he worked for another government that was not corrupt by capitalism, but was totalitarian. He does what he's told to survive, but he still knows it's wrong. He's secretly part of "The Anonymous", telling them everything he sees and hears at his job. He's destroying the system by working within the system.

I'll post anywhere, but rooms are my favie~ I'm okay with almost any plot, but if your idea is something that makes me uncomfortable, I'll tell you and please respect my wishes. Also is you and David do end up going to the Outside to make love, well, read his above. He will probably treat you like a child a little and try and take care of you, and act like a daddy. Job: Psychology lab assistant (specializing in abnormal psychology); Assists with research and experiments;

Background: (She works for the government though detests it. She's really good at following the rules and pretending like she's one with the government even if it goes against her sentiments)

She always dreamed of being an actress, although her parents had opposed it intensely. But, to satisfy them and follow in her own Father's footsteps, she decided to take on his trade as a psychologist. Being the only daughter to a gutsy mother and a psychologist father meant that she had a huge pair of shoes to fill - in her mind at least. While fulfilling the dreams of her own parents, she managed to sneak out to workshops - getting a little bit of experience here and there with emotion management. Turned out that a psychology degree was a huge asset as she learned of insightful experiments and of studies about concepts that she imagined were well beyond current times.

It was after she graduated that the world had gone to - at least, where she the country where she resided in. In came a government with their own sets of messed up rules, flushing away the dreams of many, including her own, along with their entrance. Needless to say, many changes were made in her life aside from her residency at her parents' home and her family history.

No longer was she Ahn Sohee, but Song Dahye - an orphan whose documents were conveniently burned down in a orphanage fire not too long ago.

Dahye currently works for the government alongside her father, her degree with honours landing her the position more than her relations with her father did (although her father's hidden affections for his only child had seeped through his well built façade; it was painfully obvious to her eyes, though not to the eyes of many). It was because of her Father's prestigious and highly regarded position as a psychologist that she was able to be hired without her credentials being questioned at all. Although she cannot communicate her outright affections for her parents, she is somewhat satisfied with life away from them as long as it keeps them safe.

But one day, the government will crash and burn and Dahye would gladly watch it burn.

I also ask for patience since life tends to get in my way a lot, especially school because school is my life right now.
