@Key Mark was taking in the overwhelming sight and smell of the room, piece by piece and visibly jumped when Kibum touched him. He didn't know why but something about contact with anyone of any kind in such a place made him uneasy and he stepped away from the other man. Turning slightly and looking at him as he spoke. The glazed windows he assumed were to keep out any outside sight but when Kibum explained their true purpose Mark felt bad for the students. Having to watch their friend and maybe even a lover being tortured and tormented and having the uncertainty of not even knowing exactly what was being done to them. Mark sighed and continued listening looking up at the dark square cut out in the wall that Kibum had said was a vent. Mark looked at the vent and back to Kibum narrowing his eyes skeptically. "Kibum that's too much, I don't believe that part about the vent one bit." Mark watched as Kibum opened the door and followed him naturally not wanting to be left alone. But when the other slammed it in his face he stepped back. "Guess I'll just wait. Hm." Mark stood around shifting from foot to foot and glancing infrequently toward the door.
@[N+] Mark The room was a horror story that Kibum even need to tell: there was aged bloodstains caking the wall and floors, and a few flies buzzing around the single orange light in the center of the room. Kibum embraced his roommate from behind, gently nuzzling into the boy’s shoulder, “So? What do you think?” He grinned, lazily pointing at the two foggy windows on the far side of the room, “I requested for those windows myself.” He stated proudly. He had to threaten several people to get them… but it was worth it in the end. “They are bullet proof panes. No one can escape… no one can get in… no one can see outside… no one can see inside. Also-...” Kibum released his roommate and stepped backwards slowly, “They are connected to the school hallways and not to the outdoors. That way, my victims can bang against the glass for help, and the students passing in the halls can see bloody hands appear against the glass. Pretty clever, huh?” It made him proud with how much effort he put into this job, even though he probably should be ashamed with himself. Taking a few more steps backwards, Kibum felt a smirk growing on his lips. By now, he was a good few feet away from Mark and already half out the door, “Oh and you see that broken vent near the ceiling?” He sang softly, with a deadly glint in his eyes, “Legend says a student once tried to escape through that vent… but he got stuck inside and died. If you listen carefully… you can still hear his cries for help-…” With that Kibum batted his eyelashes sweetly, “I’ll be right back, Marky-Boo. Wait for me here, okay?”
He slammed the door shut with a smirk, knowing full well that the door locked automatically from the inside. If Mark were clever enough though, he would probably find the hidden spare-key somewhere in the room… but then again… The key was hidden in the vent.
@Key Mark tried to seem disinterested as his roommate told complete horror stories about his encounters. He didn't want to seem shocked with fear. He kept reminding himself that it was 'just a job, just like his own' but it didn't help him in the least. He couldn't understand why the punishments were so harsh but Kibum didn't seem like the person to ask. If anything the closer they got to the punishment room the more he seemed excited, happy even. Mark swallowed hard as the light flickered and panned across his roommates face. This walk showed Mark just how unique his roommate was and made Mark more determined to never need punishment because it seemed that not even knowing the offender would soften the punishment. Mark muddled through his thoughts seeming bored on the surface. He turned back hesitantly toward Kibum as he entered the room immediately retching at the strong smell. "Oh..." Mark said lifting his shirt to cover his mouth and nose. He looked around his eyes taking awhile to adjust to the darkness of the area, compared to the bright interior of the clinic.
@[N+] Mark The walk to the punishment room consisted entirely of Kibum ranting non-stop about ‘how hard it was to remove bloodstains from the walls whenever he finished a punishment session’. Whether he was trying to intimidate Mark or not was out of the question- it was obvious. Fear was fuel to him, and it made him feel excited in the darkest corners of his heart. Kibum was keenly sending glances towards his ‘beloved’ roommate whenever he got the chance, even if only to gauge his reaction. “And you know what I did next? I stitched him back together with yarn.” Okay, that part was a lie-… maybe. His lips twitched into a dark grin when the two of them arrived at the tiny hallway that led towards the punishment room; the place he practically lived. It was eerie with only one flickering light overhead and one heavy door at the end of the hall. “Oh, look! We’ve almost arrived.” Kibum kept a tight grip on his roommate as he tugged him down the hall, not because he thought Mark would run away, but because adrenaline was starting to build within his chest. At the door, Kibum released Mark and dialed the passcode in the keypad, before sliding a rustic key into the lock with a soft ‘click’. “After you.” He gestured with a smirk, knowing full well that beyond this door, there was a pungent stench of dried blood, and nothing to look at other than a few walls, cupboards, and two small windows of bullet proof glass.
