After 20 minutes of getting down the clock tower's steps, Hua Hua met the pool. She was amazed at the clear blue color of the Chlorine water. She sat down and stared at the ripples.
Breathing heavily after a full hour of swimming, Onew took a rest while submerging himself at the corner of the pool. Looking around, he couldn't spot a single soul in sight. At that moment, a pang of loneliness started to envelop him.
@Jessica Odd. It was impossible for him to be incognizant of any student much more to the likes of her - with looks that are above average, and an air of confidence surrounding her what with the way she stood: squared shoulders and all. "Hmn, I guess you're right. Maybe I just haven't seen you before." Daehyun complied anyway. And before he could forget the purpose of his coming to her, he offered a hand and flashed a boyish grin. "I'm Jung Daehyun, by the way. A senior student."
@Daehyun She bit her lower lip, feeling extremely tired and stressed out. She looked up as she heard footsteps coming towards her. She tilted her head in confusion, thinking who the guy was. She blinked once as she stood up, dusting her pants as she did so.
"Um, hello. No. I'm not. Maybe you haven't seen me before." Jessica replied casually.
@Jessica Confusion marred his features when his reflection started to ripple. He tried to look for the culprit and there she was, on the side of the pool, her feet splashing around the water. He tilted his head, his gears at work, trying to recognize who it was but nothing clicked. A new student, maybe? He shrugged. He had nothing better to do anyway so he strode to her all light feet and pounding heart. He wasn't used to introducing himself but somehow the urge to do so was so strong it needed to be expelled by having it executed.
@Daehyun There she was, at the very end of the pool with both her feet dipped in the water. She looked up and sighed heavily and she splashed her feet around lightly. Her favorite place was to be here. Just being able to feel the water made her feel happy. She looked down at her reflection, realizing that old same smile tugging at her lips. Oh, how long has it been since she smiled like that.
It had been months since he last visited the pool. A lot of memories swam in the waters of this not-so utilized amenity of the school and it got him thinking. He stood there, eyeing the water but not seeing it, with his hands shoved in his pockets and a tune caught in his throat.
