A sense of peace and comfort overcame her as she laid in his arms. The way that he embraced her, the feel of his strong arms holding her, made her feel safe, secure, and cherished. She let out a contented sigh as she closed her eyes and cuddled even closer, moving her head to his chest. Hearing his breath and his heart calmed her soul in a way that she had never experienced before. She whispered her answer to his mumbling, sure that he wouldn't hear it. "You were already in mine,"
Her warmth enveloped him and it seeped in his pores to his muscles, his system, and to his being. He wrapped her with his arms, trying as best as he could to keep their bodies close. He kissed the top of her head and said, "If I don't see you when I wake up, I'm gonna hunt you down and pin you to the ground and kiss you." He smiled to himself. "Meet you in my dreams." He whispered almost unintelligibly as sleep took him over.
She watched him lay in the bed and a small smile crept onto her face as she took a moment to appreciate him. The way that he spoke tugged on her heartstrings and she didn't want to say it aloud but she wanted to stay beside him for much more than just the night. A thought occurred to her as she crawled beside him and snuggled close to his sides, using his offered arm as a pillow; If she hadn't been bold enough to come here, she might have missed out on his love completely.
"Mhmn," he hummed in reply, his hand still holding hers, as he fell on the bed. "Stay. Not just for the night. Just stay beside me, okay?" He mumbled, sleep getting the best of his speaking capability. He had his arm stretched out so she could use it as a pillow and waited for her body to occupy the empty space beside him.
He pulled her back toward he bed with him, not that she wouldn't have gone by her own volition anyway. She looked at her...boyfriend? She wasn't entirely sure what they were at this point but he was just darn cute. He was at the same time a boy and a man in the most endearing way and she couldn't help but smile when he tugged her hand. "I am quite tired," she admitted as she joined him on the bed, smoothing some of his hair on her way to the mattress. "Are you sure you want me to stay the night?"
Never in his lifetime did he ever imagine that he would be able to feel the Earth revolve under his feet with just a nod from the person in front of him. Or maybe it was just him, almost fainting. But he restrained himself and made use of the sudden shift of his weight to pull her back with him to his bed. He sat on the edge and kept that grin, and he looked like a schoolboy who had just been awarded a star with his hair sticking everywhere adding to the effect. He couldn't get his eyes off her face. He kept staring. His eyes fluttered close though when a yawn came out of him. "Noona," he tugged her hand. "Let's sleep."
She felt sorry that she confused him, he deserved so much more than that. Narsha was trying to come up with the right words to say when he kissed her again. Her lips tingled long after he pulled away and she felt it all the way in the pit of her chest, both the kiss and his absence. She was so into what he had made her feel that she almost missed his question, but nothing would ever allow her to miss that smile or the small kiss that followed it all. If she hadn't been in love with him before she was now. In less than a few minutes he had been able to strip her of all her defenses and resolve, leaving her emotionally bare before him and she was somehow alright with that. Standing there before the younger man all she could do was nod; she would never be able to walk away from him under her own power.
He held her gaze. For too long - until his thoughts clicked into order.
"You always confuse me, noona." His lower lip jutted and he blinked. He could act cute, too, if he wanted. Before she could even speak though, he gave her lips a lingering kiss. He smiled at her, and it touched his eyes. "So, will noona stay? Cause Daehyunnie would," he said and added, "here." He pulled away a bit to lower his head and kiss the skin where her heart is. He straightened and flashed a boyish grin at her.
Those simple words echoed through her ears and she couldn't help but to smile at him. She watched him trying to voice his thoughts and listened carefully, smiling encouragingly at him from time to time. Her breath caught in about midway through his words and she didn't know what to think. His confession was more than she had ever hoped or dreamed for.
"I think you misunderstood what I said because I said it like that on purpose." Narsha paused and took a deep breath to gather her own courage. "I came here because I loved you and had to leave because I didn't want to." She knew what she said probably didn't make much sense to anyone but herself but she thought to at least try to explain herself.
As she pulled away, he opened his eyes. Their faces too close, her perfection magnified. "You're beautiful." He breathed out and breathed in courage. He had never confessed before. Not really. He would ask a girl for a date and that was that. This woman in front of her though, radiated importance. Her presence demanded so much from him and he's suddenly tongue-tied and scared. He knew that he's not capable to offer much. "Y-you said you came h-here to stop yourself from l-loving me." If he could slap himself, he would. He was stuttering.
"I actually wish that y-you do." He bit his lip and looked away. 'Say something else.'
"This isn't out of the blue you know." He looked back at her again. "I think, when I was watching you work in the clinic, I've fallen for you and your smile and the way you crunch up your nose when you found the bottles rearranged - I did that on purpose cause you're cute doing that - and," he sighed. "That."
She watched him curiously as he moved closer to her, she truly had no idea what he was going or going to do. When he reached out for her she flinched slightly but relaxed as he completed his warm gesture and then the other. She was thoroughly confused and the small spark that she had failed to snuff out began to grow before igniting fully as his soft lips met hers.
The shock didn't last long as she closed her eyes and melted into him. Her arms wound there way around his neck and she tilted her head slightly to deepen the kiss as he uttered her name. "Narsha"he spoke quietly and she felt a stirring deep within her as it spilled through his perfect lips. She loved the way that he said it and all the feelings that she could almost hear behind it. Pulling back slightly she looked up into his eyes, her own glistening and full of hope that maybe, just maybe he meant to call for her.
Two tentative steps was all he needed to be inches apart from her again. "This," he whispered. He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "And this." The back of his hand glided smoothly on her cheek. "This, too." He leaned down to kiss her not like how they kissed awhile ago. His lips were trembling, having found a new feeling in the pit of his stomach. It tickled. It wasn't the usual stirring when he's aroused. Suddenly nervous, he closed his eyes.
He had watched her do her work in the clinic. She handled people well. She never lost her patience. She's open-minded and was even there for one student when she came running to her for advice about her assumed pregnancy. Narsha. The nurse who would flit across the room, checking labels of drugs, piling papers. He found the name beautiful and before he could stop himself, it escaped from his mouth. "Narsha," It rolled out of his tongue like honey - sweet, thick, smooth.
His words cut through the silence like a hot knife through butter and she turned to look at him, having just finished bracing the walls around her heart that she erected in the aftermath of their tryst. Her heart vaguely flickered alive and a small spark of hope ignited in her chest as she looked at his face. She bit her lip and tried to quickly extinguish the small flame before opening to speak. "Yes, Daehyun?" a small glimmer of what she was feeling managed to sneak out in those two words and she hoped he wouldn't notice.
As she walked closer to him, scenes of their deed replayed in his head. The biting, the nibbling, the - the passion; her skin, her warmth, her scent. In full detail, he remembered how the wall clock ticked and how he struggled to sing for her, how her hair fell perfectly on her shoulders, how she touched him, her scent, peppermint and silk and pleasure. He blinked and somewhere inside him, his lungs gave out and his heart failed to pump. She stood in front of him, like a goddess. All at once his system started working again all erratic heartbeats and shallow breaths.
It was so confusing for her. Now that he was helping her to leave she wanted nothing more than to stay. She was so torn between the feelings she already had for him and the reality that she knew she should accept. Sure, he was a student and she was a nurse but things like that didn't matter here. The problem was that he couldn't love her and deep down she knew that too.
Deciding to take her bitter pills, she swallowed hard and stepped closer to him. She would be damned if he wasn't the most stunning sight she had ever seen and she would be walking away. Her will forced her insides to turn to stone and she wiped away all emotion as she put her coat on. She wouldn't argue and she wouldn't fight with him, she would just leave him be.
Well thank . Now he knows why she knocked on his door. And now he's even more confused. He pulled a scarf out, and pulled away from her hold as he turned around to face her. He pursed his lips and his eyes rounded. He's a student. Things like this aren't allowed in the school right? What they did - isn't that prohibited, too?
He put the thoughts aside and wrapped the scarf around her neck. "I'm not lovable anyway, noona." He grinned. "So that wouldn't be hard." He pulled her back to the bed and took her coat. "Come here." And he readied the coat so she could snuggle in.
She mentally cursed herself as Daehyun began to rummage around for something to help her. He was so sweet and his actions was so caring that every second she spent with him was dangerous for her heart. Why was it that everything he did was so perfect to her?
Narsha walked up behind him and wrapped her around around his waist, hugging him from behind. She pressed her chest into his back and nuzzled into his neck, leaving small kisses on his skin that was still salty from their earlier activities. "I don't want to love you." she whispered softly. "That is why I can't stay and also why I came."
"Okay," he mumbled because it isn't okay. He didn't understand a thing she said. He released her hand from his grasp and got up. His eyes took its last sweep of her body before getting off of bed. "Don't you feel cold with just this coat?" He handed her the questioned article. He pulled up his shorts, buttoned it. "You need a scarf. Or something." After all, it's still January and the weather's still chilly. He went for his closet to search for one.
