Kim Hyuna 8 years ago
@Jung Sooyeon Hyuna shook her head. "Ah..it's not important what happened in the past" She said regarding her past. Looking to her hand as she felt the other take it, she nearly pulled her hand away, like an instinct but she had to remind herself that she wasn't in danger. "Mend our friendship? So a we've both changed since that time period." She stayed before shrugging. "I guess it would be nice to have friends again" she mumbled to herself in uncertainty as she thought about it. "But you never called" She trailed off before trying to remember if she had called or not.

@Kim Hyuna A smile tugged on her emotionless face as Hyuna didn't bother about her visiting the studio - it meant that Sica could and would reach to her old friend back. When she stated it, Sica's head tilted slightly as spher eyes darted to read what's on Hyuna's mind. She reached out to hold on Hyuna's hand, to assure her that she wasn't a threat at all. "Hyuna-ah... I'm all ears. I don't really f ucking care about a long story... I just wanna.. " Shep sighed as she looked down on her glass, not letting go of the other's hand. "mend our friendship back? Can I? I always missed you when I'm not in Korea."

@Jung Sooyeon Hearing her say that she wanted to visit her studio has her looking over to the other in surprise. "You want to visit my studio?" She asked tilting her head. "I guess you can..." She trailed off as she thought of a good time for her to come by. Listening to her explain she went state side then returned, she nodded slightly in understanding. "I never left Seoul" She said honestly, but quietly as she stared at the drink and finished it quickly. It was a long story about how she kinda just disappeared from everyone's lives, without even leaving the city. She just kinda shut herself in and avoided everyone. "It's a long story Sica" She said with a small sad smile.

@Kim Hyuna Sica didn't bother to look back at Hyuna when she realized that the other's had her guard up for whatever reason. She could not recall the last time they met and why they parted to different path and the friendship that was stronge before become dust in a matter of second. "Interesting. I'm also teaching ballet at a studio of mine. Do you mind if I visit the studio someday?" She asked gently as she took her glass and empty it with one shot. "I went to San Francisco to follow my mother. She died years ago and I'm back here for no particular reason." She remembered how she used to treat Hyuna as her younger sister to replace her deceased biological sister. "How about you? Why did you leave Seoul and why you come back?"

@Jung Sooyeon Hyuna took notice of her sitting next to her and her mumbling but didn't respond. After everything had left she felt her 'friend' pulled her chin towards her and looked at her in the eyes. "Yeah...It has been a while" She bit her lip again as she pulled her chin away. She looked to the girl and ordered a shot. "Where have you been?" She asked before taking a sip of her drink. She had her guard back up around people from her past and men. She shook her head and looked back to her old friend. She could tell her old friend has changed like she had, but she wondered exactly how much she had changed since they had last saw each other. "As you saw, I dance now...and own my own studio where I teach dance" She said softly looking at her drink.

@Kim Hyuna The other broke the eye contact between them and Sooyeon was determined to dig up the real person of the girl. She went up to sit by the other girl before ordering a vodka. She waited fr the right moment to speak up. She rested her face on her palm that was propped on the table before mumbling, "Congratulations for winning, Kim Hyuna-shhi." She smiled at the other but when the other didn't bother to face her, she reachedout to pull Hyuna's chin softly before facing her, staring straight into the other's eyes. "It's been a long time since we met, saeng. I missed you." She said softly before letting the girl's chin go.

@Jung Sooyeon Hyuna bowed her head in thanks as it was revealed that she was the winner. She thanked her opponent and bowed to the crowd once again before she bounced off the stage towards the bar. She had looked back to the crowd as some of her students and other by standers came over to congratulate her. She laughed slightly bowing her head in thanks to everyone who came out to support her when her eyes landed on the person she had spotted when she was dancing. Tilting her head to the side as she tried to think where she had seen her before then it hit her. It was her old friend before they lost contact with each other. Biting her lower lip lightly she broke eye contact and ordered a drink

@Kim Hyuna When her sight was greeted with a stage annd hundreds of youngstes cheering, Sooyeon chuckled with an amusement. She walked towards the stage that was set up along with the perfect lighting and booming music speakers. When the dancer came up, Sooyeon almost recognized the girl. Hereys were fixated on her move and her dance style. It was familiar ad son it all begin to flood her. The laughter, the smile, the moment they played together na dthe memories they cherish dearly. "H-hyuna..? I-Is that you...?" She asked slowly, her dance was flawlessly perfect - more better than the old Hyuna. She did good job in perfecting her techniques and dancing to the beat. The judges announced the result of the battle and as Sica expected, Hyuna steal the spotlight as the winner. She clapped along the fans and chanted the younger's with the crowd. "HyunA! HyunA! HyunA!"

@Jung Sooyeon Hyuna was stretching off to the side as she tried to calm her nerves. Sure, she had been in more than her fair share of dance battles and she's won most of them, but she always got nervous when it came her time to shine. Fixing her outfit and making sure her heels were on tightly, she walked proudly onto the stage waving to the fans she had seemed to accumulate from her battles. She looked over to her opponent with a grin as she left her go first before following with her own moves, not missing a beat. She was pushing all her negative thoughts away as she danced and felt the music course through her body, almost like in a hynotic state, she lost herself in the music hitting every move to the tee and couldn't help but smirk as her opponent missed a few beats and moves. Her eyes grazed the crowd from time to time as she saw some of her students in the crowd watching and cheering her on. As her eyes moved through the crowd she thought she saw someone who looked familiar to her, but didn't spend too much time focusing on only one person as she went to finish the battle in style.

@Kim Hyuna Sica enjoyed walking and ibserving people. Especially at night. Sica was strolling alone at one night down the street when she heard a bunch of kids of chattering and their topic of conversation interested her. "Dude, there's a dance battle tonight." A boy started up. The other one replied, "Let's watch it. It would be f ucking awesome. I heard everyone powerful would be there! HyunA senpai~" A girl came up and smack the other boy. "FYI, your girlfriend are wating for you at her home andyou're heading underground for the battle?" The first boy chuckled. "HyunA senpai is awesome! Shut your mouth and let's freaking watch it!" They laughed together because of something that Sooyeon didn't bother to hear. The name did ring a bell but she could not pinpoint the face and the real name for the girl or whether this HyunA has a part of her former life before she moved to San Francisco. She decided to follow the youngsters underground to kill the curiousity in her head.
Selena Gomez 8 years ago
@Luke Hemmings Selena could still hear the girls from the arena, some of them screaming that they saw one of the members or some of them planning out their plot to stalking them down. It was crazy how far some of the fans would go, quite scary as well. Her feet lead her around, her lips pursing while she looked into different rooms, she just couldn't find them and it was slightly frustrating. It shouldn't be this hard, right?

"Excuse me!" She heard, causing her to turn around and raise an eyebrow. There she saw someone she'd never seen before. Young, smeared make up and panting like a wild mess. "Did you sneak back here too? Oh thank god someone I can join. Let's try and find them together!" The fan screamed causing Selena's eyes to widen slightly while she shook her head. "Uh no, i'm not-" She began, only to be interrupted by the fan dragging her away.

A mob of screaming girls yelling the same name over and over again fell into her sight, and it wasn't hard to make out the name that they were yelling. 'Thank god..' Selena thought to herself and pulled her arm away from the girl when they reached the crowd. She stepped back, watching Luke appear from the group and all of the girls fell silent. "Hey, you." She spoke, her lips twitching into a grin while she rocked back and forth on her feet while watching him speak to the group before looking back to her. "Most definitely." Selena smiled, holding onto his arm while she walked with him.

"Do you ever get used to that? It's crazy." The girl breathed out, turning her head to look up at the taller male. It seemed as if every time she saw him he only got more attractive. It had been a good few months, but the longer the gap in between, the more excited shew as to see him. "How have you been?"
Luke Hemmings 8 years ago
@Selena Gomez As soon as the set was finished, Luke took his guitar with him and headed off the stage, where they packed up their instruments and headed to their - what they called - waiting room. He was there for a few moments as he wound down from the adrenaline rush. His arms went up as he stretched out his body a bit. "I'm going for a walk." He states, although the other members continued to do just what they were doing. With a scoff Luke his heels and headed toward the main area.

"Luke! What was that new song called?" And there came the trouble. Although he hadn't been here long, he managed to garner a handful of fans, and they just never seemed to leave him alone. He craned his neck to look over them, he had been waiting for her. "where is she?" He whispered before looking over at his fans. He could use a bit of saving. With a smile, he began to answer the female's questions, but the swarm continued to grow.

It was like he was being eaten alive by a herd of wild beasts. He was relieved when Selena's face was in clear sight. "Oh, thank god." Luke squeezed through the girls, walking over to her. "Selena..." He breathed, giving her a smile as he approached, aware of the girls behind him that were absolutely quiet. Reminded of them, he turns quickly and tells them that it was all the time he had, but that he'd make it up to the group.

He looked back at Selena and bobbed his head in the direction where his band mates had been in. "Want a tour around our waiting room?"

@Luke Hemmings The people, mostly girls, surrounding Selena were pissed that she forced her way in front of them, but that was the last thing that could possibly bother her. Concerts were always something that Selena enjoyed, and she'd been to one of Luke's gigs before. The band was big around the city, but were making a rise around the country too- which was incredibly exciting.

Her elbows leaned against the bar, her face resting in her palm while she scrolled through her phone, waiting for the concert to start. The people around her were finished talking their about her, finally getting over the fact that someone shorter than them got in front. Something that was stupid to be mad about in the fist place. Her hand slipped her phone into her pocket when the lights went out.

Her eyes momentarily tried their best to focus, but it was no use because only a few moments later, the lights came on and a soothing voice was heard through the speakers. The girls eyes shifted to the stage, watching while the three guys walked on before her eyes shifted to the male speaking into the microphone, Luke. Her lips curled up into a wide smile while his eyes met her own, her teeth biting her lip in amusement while she heard the girls around her squeal- thinking he was looking right at them. It would be a lie to say he didn't make her smile, though.

The set was flawless of course, and of course- Selena had a blast. She sang through the songs that she knew, enjoyed the songs that she didn't. But before she knew it, the fun was over and all four guys were making their way off of the stage. Everyone then scrambled out, hoping to get a glance of them, or even meet them outside, though Selena made her way to the entry to backstage.

"Can I help you?"

A tall, bulky body guard questioned, and her eyebrow perked up before nodding and her lips. "Yeah, i'm on the list. Selena Gomez." She explained which he checked and then nodded, and she made her way back stage in search for her blonde friend.

@Selena Gomez After sending the text to Selena, Luke grabs his coat from the coat rack in the hall and heads out of his penthouse. He's about to leave when he remembers and turns back, opening the door. "Come on, I cant forget you." He chuckles as he picks the guitar case up and locks the door behind him.

Luke was dressed in his usual attire -- a band tee along with his ripped skinny jeans and his ragedy coat -- much different from his work attire. He had been running toward his band members' apartment. He climbed all the way up to the fourth floor and knocked on the door loudly. "Michael...Ashton...Calum! Someone open the damn door!" He bannged on the door until it was opened. "Chill. Equilibrium Muchacho." Michael speaks as he opens the door for the frontman. "Let's get things moving." Luke walks past Michael and into the small apartment. He greets s and they chat for a few moments before they all take off in a sprint.

The four, if not later were always just right on time. With a few minutes to spare they arrived at the venue, tuned their instruments and made their way up on the stage. For a moment the stage was completely dark, he almost couldn't see where the mic was, but he reassured himself once his hand hit the stand. He stood in front of it and the lights came on.

"Hello everyone, we're 5 seconds of summer, and we're going to play one of our new songs today." Luke takes a step back from the microphone and started to play, moving back over to the mic only when he needed to sing. Luke -- when singing -- scanned the area, people he's seen before, people he's never seen before, and then there was Selena. She was front and center and she looked just as he rememered her to. With a grin he pulled away from the microphone and played to his hearts desires until the end of their set.

@Luke Hemmings Selena had just gotten home from work when she felt her phone buzz in her back pocket. Her right eyebrow perked up while she reached into her back pocket to retrieve her phone and press the home button, only to see a message from a distant friend of hers.

From: Lucas
Message: Hey, concert tonight at 8:00 underground, hope you can make it!

Now both of her eyebrows raised in curiosity, her lips pursing while the corners slowly curled into a small smile. The two weren't very good friends, they didn't know each other too well.. But Selena would be lying if she said that she wasn't intrigued by the blondie. Instead of worrying about responding, her head tilted down so that she could take in her current outfit, one that definitely would not fit into a gig, especially with his band. Chocolate eyes moved to the clock on her wall, reading 7:30. "." Selena immediately muttered, practically kicking off her shoes before she ran into her room.

Once arriving, the girl stepped into her closet, taking off her current clothes before looking around in a hurry. After stressful debates of what to wear, Selena grabbed a pair of black high waisted shorts along with a plain white crop top. Her long and dark hair fell into natural curls towards her lower back, moving from side to side with every step that she took. The girl pulled on a coat, knowing it would be cold outside, and a pair of ankle booties before forcing her phone, keys and wallet into the pocket of her jacket before walking out of her apartment. She locked her door before practically jogging to the site. It wasn't too far away from her apartment, gladly.

When she arrived at the venue of the gig, she pulled out her wallet to pay to get in, only to find out that she was on the list. "Oh, thanks." She smiled brightly before walking into the site. Selena then- SOMEHOW, forced her way to the front of the stage, right on time. Once arriving at the front, the lights went out and the show began.

@Bae Joohyun The high-pitched white noise and the deafening thumping of his heart fade away and gradually he can begin to hear again. He's greeted by a cacophony of police sirens (closer to where they were now) and utter panic that sweeps through the entire crowd. His fists are hot, and quite literally at that. They feel as though they've just been dipped in fire, and in a strange way, his entire spirit is re-kindled. It had been a long time since he'd last hit someone without restraint, hesitation, or doubt. Oh, and without boxing gloves. Perhaps that also made a difference. He didn't need to look back at his victim to know what kind of magnitude of damage he had done. When you were a fighter, you knew damn well when you delivered the ending blow. Nothing was quite as satisfying. Beautifully cruel, the 'sport' they risked their lives with was.

It took him a moment to gather his thoughts in midst the chaos, but he quickly surveyed the situation with those sharp, dark eyes of his. There had to be a hidden exit somewhere -- somewhere where dozens of other people hadn't already found, or else he -- or they -- would never get out. Gosh, for a moment he'd forgotten that his right hand gripped firmly around the wrist of another human being. One that was providing quite the unhelpful amount of friction and inertia. Great, more luggage. Just what he needed. Yet, he couldn't blame anyone but himself in obtaining this 'burden.' He'd willfully chosen to - for heroic reasons? Hell no, he was never much of a hero. But something about the moment, something about her had compelled him to act. Perhaps she reminded him a bit of himself. Too over-eager to win, or perhaps too reluctant to lose. But where had that attitude landed him? Straight to rehab and straight to indefinite hiatus from all the spotlight and glory he could have asked for. Maybe he'd save a life tonight - quite literally at this point.

At first he gave a light tug, but it became quickly obvious that she didn't intend on moving anytime soon. For a woman who had just brushed shoulders with death, she still had some fight left in her. So he dug in his own heels and gave a yank of significant force. For a brief moment he grimaced at the thought of what pain he might have just caused to her already wounded physical figure, but he assured himself that she'd have high pain tolerance. For the first time, he turned back to catch a glimpse of his companion's face. His brows furrowed slightly when he finally did. Frankly it was the first good angle he'd gotten at it, and it wasn't quite what he was expecting. Even behind the pain and injury, he could clearly discern the outline of her soft features and milky white skin. Rather abashedly, he'd admitted that he would have even considered her quite attractive if he wasn't too busy trying to avoid spending the night in bars. He took a mental note to never judge a person by their exterior appearance ever again. For all he knew, the timid teenage girl living on the floor below him might as well be able to beat his . /That/ really helped with his already great mistrust in the world.

Now that he could hear, he realized what she kept yelling at him in exasperation. 'Let go.' His response to her pleas, or should he say demands, was just the opposite. Making use of his other arm now, he tightening his grasp on her and focused his intentions. "Right. Real noble. Don't take this the wrong way, but at the moment, I'm more concerned for /your/ own status of vitality," he shouted over the chaos of scattering people back to her. At the pace he was making them move, it would have been practically easier to just lifting her off the ground and carry her. But the fire in her eyes told him she wasn't the type who'd enjoy being carried off in fairytale fashion. Move as quickly as possible and hope the destination was friendly. That was basically his motto at this point.

At least the heavens were gracious to him occasionally. Well after all the previous misfortune in his life, they at least owed him something. Approaching a fence that blocked off a passage-way to another alleyway, he said a quick prayer under his breath before sending off a swift kick. The rusty bolts gave in, and he led through the dimly lit pathway. The red and blue flashes told him that the police had arrived, and their escape too narrow for his liking. He glanced back at the girl to make sure she was still with him, which was ironic considering he held an iron grip over her. "No worries, I parked just around the corner," he told her, all too casually for the situation. Well, a man could at least hope, couldn't he?
Bae Joohyun 8 years ago
@Jackson Wang There's a punch that comes flying at her stomach — she feels it as quick as it comes, muscles contracting under the profuse blow and shock waves of momentary pain darting all the way to her fingertips — and she keels around the impact, pain flaring like New Years' fireworks and burning off into anger. It's thick, metallic on her tongue and it coats her elbows as she turns for a counterattack. He — Joonmyun, was it? She doesn't know, doesn't care — staggers, buckles, and bends a little before straightening himself out to lock a blow at her jaw. He barely misses, his knuckles grazing her skin hard enough to gift her with a tender bruise that she'll have to love and care for by the morning. He backs off for a few, like a wolf who took too much of a bite and now he wants to play a bit more before giving in to the luxury of sinking his teeth in her — again, savouring the bitter taste of satisfaction when her head's bowed down and money in his pockets instead of hers. She can feel him watching her, obsidian irises trained on her sweaty skin, burning holes and leaving flame. And Joohyun has always been a people pleaser; the followup jolts of fire pool in her abdomen and she caves for a split second, thick spit leaving her lips, blood dabbled in the corners. He grins, blood slicked across his teeth, obviously gratified at the turn out.

She's watched him before, knows him well enough to understand that he's got a streak of impatience coursing through his blood. She sees it in the way he rolls his wrists, fingers wound tight into a fists and hands aching to dig straight into her ribs. And it doesn't surprise her when he sneers, lips pulled back against his canines as he reaches out for her, steps heavy against the tarmac and fist eager to feel her crumpling under him. He's much bigger, stronger, and quicker than her, but he's a dog; he doesn't think long enough and his weak spots are left out in the open — his back, his chest — and she doesn't miss a beat, legs folding in and a heel sinking against the last parallels of his ribs.

Joohyun takes the all shots he has to offer afterwards and ignores the jolts of pain from the tender areas that map her body. He's growing tired, his lurches having losing their calculations and he looks more like a rampant dog now, blackened eyes hungry with the intent to crush her skull with his bare hands. When he misses his nth mindless punch, Joohyun ducks under his outstretched arms (thank god for being tiny) and comes back with a blow under his jaw, fist curling to take some of the bite out of the contact. She can feel her knuckles crash, blench back and all she can see is flashes of white.

He takes a thud to the ground, mouth agape and blood pooling. There's seconds of silence as he has no initiative to get up and Joohyun's too spent from that single shot to move from her spot to check if he's knocked unconscious or dead. Fatigue starts squeezing against her muscles and her head ducks to clear her oxygen debt after playing cat and dog with him for so long. But when she hears a ruffle, worn soles meeting the ground once again, she tears her gaze away from the concrete, neck craned the slightest and another round of spit, blood ridding from .

And it surprises her, what's she's greeted with instead of her winnings for the night — he's up, anger seething through his skin, and he's got her at knife point, blade noticeably bright under the dingy glow the alley had to offer, eyes locked on the base of .

Sudden chaos swells around her and it's almost overwhelming, how his steps are amplified in her ears over her thudding heartbeat as he nears; she can hear all sorts of things — screaming, flurries of footsteps, sirens — but the only thing she's got enough in her to care about is the sickening way her heart will hammer to a stop when he's finally picked a place to leave his knife for the night. But between the presumptuous men that she takes on every other night and the broken blood vessels, bones she nurses by early morning, fear is her greatest enemy and her opponent for today is smart enough to take it. This is where her otherwise steely semblance breaks, where her true colours shine — impulsive to the core, selfish good-doer by nature. She'll play the hero tonight, a ered, justice seeking punk with the only one life she's bent on saving — her own. So when her hand reaches out to provoke him, she's doesn't know if she's walking straight into her grave or doing something for the better of the situation. She's knocked him to the ground once already, another wouldn't hurt. Not a lot, at least.
Bae Joohyun 8 years ago
@Jackson Wang And he falls for it, blade slicing through the air and the volume around her growing exponentially by decibels. Joohyun's not sure if she was too close for comfort or was smart enough to keep distances, but she doesn't care enough; she'll access the damage taken in front of a mirror when she gets there — if she makes it out alive. But the world's revolving around her far too fast; there's a bystander who races in front of her, blocks her off from getting anything considerable done. And she can't see anything happening (curse her for being tiny), but she hears the skidding of the blade against the tarmac, a thud of a body trailing afterwards and then there's a split second spike up of incredulity in her veins (did some random stranger really just do that?)

There's an abrupt grip around her wrist, fingers pressing harshly into her skin, and then she's yanked off away from the fight. Her fight. Joohyun doesn't necessarily pride herself in being stupidly stubborn, but it has her making an effort to root her shoes into the ground, her wrist twisting and turning under the stranger's grasp in attempt to break free and do the whole blind rush thing back there, finish what she started because she's that type of person.

"Let go," she manages to force out between the noise, apparent exhaustion staining the ends of her words although anything but was present, considering the speed that her heart was pounding off at against her ribs and the adrenaline settling in her nerves. "Let go, I've got— I've got to kill this bastard—"

@Bae Joohyun The moment he arrived, Jackson regretted ever showing up. The air was thick with the distinct odor of blood, smoke, alcohol, sweat, and everything else he was supposed to stay away from. And money -- it reeked of money for the victor. Honestly it made the pit of his stomach churn with a mix of every emotion he hated feeling. Fear, regret, nostalgia, anger. But most of all, exhilarating anticipation. Even now after it was all over, pure passion pumped through his veins every time he was near a boxing – well in this case, street – fight. Victory and glory was what it provided. It was what he had chased his entire life until – well, he still couldn’t explain what had happened that one fateful day, but he didn’t like reminding himself unless it was during the hours of twilight and accompanied by bottle of liquor. His knuckles ached and his fingers drummed sporadically against his side. His heart and soul were desperately torn between wanting to jump right into the combat and getting the hell out of the hell-hole he was in.

Shuffling through the crowd, he pulled the hood of his black jacket lower over his face. His face faded into a light grimace with the number of unfriendly body checks and hostile sneers, but he somehow managed to find his way into the front row of the makeshift ring that the crowd of bystanders formed. Muttering some expletives under his breath, he finally turned his focus on the two fighters in the middle. It took him some time for to focus his vision in the odd amount of lighting in the musty alley. But when he finally got a clear view, his eyes narrowed and brows furrowed with slight doubt in what he was seeing before himself. Was that… a girl? Now Jackson was never the type to judge others in their life pursuits, but is was extraordinarily unusual to find members of the opposite in places like this. Meaning, smack in the middle of the fight. Not to mention, her slim, rather petite figure wasn’t one of a traditional fighter. But something about her was even more offsetting for him. He just couldn’t place a finger on what it was exactly.

His attention had been completely devoted to the fight (or rather the girl participant), until it occurred to him that those around him were beginning to jeer at him. Frankly, he was expecting to be recognized eventually, but that didn’t make it any less annoying. Plus, he doubted that many members of the crowd were fans of him. He was a highly commercialized fighter with a media image of substance abuse, countless scandals with women, mental instability, and the whole deal. Unfortunately none of the rumors were based off of pure myth. He could hear them barking at him louder now, and he jerked away in surprise when a nearby audience member stuffed some bills into his hand as an offer to go fight. ‘Just one match,’ they sneered, some challenging his skill or courage. He had gotten rather good at ignoring outside voices, but the moment he heard a faraway voice echo something about his first and final professional loss, Jackson lost his temper. He spun on his heels to face the mass and swung an arm back. He never released the swing, but it shut them up sufficiently. His fist reluctantly loosened as he turned back to the match going on.

Quite some progress had been made since the last time he had tuned into the fight. In fact, it was close to over in the girl’s favor. He could tell in the manner in which her opponent’s steps fumbled and jabs flew out without any order or discipline. But then he caught a glimpse of something else. Something of more interest and importance. The gleam of a blade in the opponent's back pocket. Definitely not in the rules or terms of agreements. Jackson watched as the man nearly went down once more from a delivered blow and held his breath in anticipation. There it was. The opponent flipped out the switchblade, and the crowd immediately went silent in a hush before bursting into a roar of fear and outrage. Jackson cursed under his breath, and when he thought it couldn't get much worse, he heard the wailing of a police siren approaching from the distance. And excuse him, but there was no way in hell that he was going to get caught tonight.

His immediate thought was to bust a move and leave. He turned to do it too, but froze in his steps when he heard the crowd freak out once again. Goddamn, had the blade hit home? He bit down on his lip and exhaled a pained breath. Abruptly he turned back towards the match, and charged into the midst of it. His ears were flooded with nothing but the sound of his own heart pumping. He was deaf to his surroundings now, but a cruel smirk crawled up on his lips. He'd missed the thrill of it all. Kicking the blade out of the guy's hand, he struck with a hard left hook from the back, hitting him square in the jaw. In the moment of hiatus, Jackson lunged forward to grab the girl's wrist, jerking her away with him out of the center of the ring. Where was the exit?
