The gypsy have their own belief system, as well as culture and of course the structure of which they name their children. They are very wary of non-gypsys but all in all they are very loyal, honourable and hard working to those they trust.

Virotutis Kairo mac de Anextiomarius. (Blessed by the light god, Kairo son of the Protector god.)
Olwen Lynessa nighean de ROSMERTA (Blessed by the goddess Olwen, Lynessa daughter of The Mother Goddess)
Anextiomarius Cynbel mac de Taranis (Blessed by the protextor god Cynbel son of the thunder god.)
You may use an original name for your character however it MUST be historical appropriate. Either an old Celtic, Pagan or Gaulish name. Here are some lists to help you. x x x
A child was blessed under a god according to the conditions around the pregnancy/birth, or wishes for the child. For example, a tough birth or a child who was very sick may be blessed under Isis or Serapis in hope or thanks of the god sparing her/him. Or a daughter blessed under Rosmerta, may mean her parents wish her to have many children.
Children blessed under Virotutis are usually only done so if it has been forseen by a visionary under Virotutis.
Throughout their life the child will worship the god they are blessed under as their main god.

Now I made most of this GYPSY religion up myself by combining things from place but it is mainly Gaulish (ancient celts in france) so if you need a word from the language translating to Gaulish is usually the way to go.
