Base - Trees

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 The group of men that appeared startled Lay, and he kept his arms at his head, swallowing hard, adrenaline spiking in his veins. They didn't seem hostile, yet, but being surrounded was never a comfortable feeling. He waited until they parted, revealing a figure with colourful makeup. Lay's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly schooled his face, not wanting to be offensive. People here all worked in different ways, and it was interesting to see how each one had adapted to the environment. This, he presumed, was Jeonghan, the leader, and Lay had no doubt that the makeup was not for cosmetic reasons. Lay's eyes swept over the other, taking in the weapons in clear sight - it was obvious that he was not to be taken lightly.

"My name is Lay," he said, voice steady despite being surrounded by potential enemies. "Clone number 7480. I was hoping to join your clan."

@Lay Jeonghan just finished his makeup when he heard his name, then his men marching into place down below. Grabbing his belt with his knife holsters and pouch, his bow and quiver, he left his room and scaled down two ladders to the ground where his men surrounded an intruder. They parted the way for him to approach the stranger that called out to him. "Who are you? And what do you want?" The man didn't look like he meant any harm, but he couldn't let his guard down until he was certain, because looks can be deceiving.

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 Lay was careful as he stepped closer to the base, keeping his footsteps almost silent. He didn't want to be caught off guard, so he kept an eye and ear out for any movement. At the same time, he didn't want to come off as hostile, and so kept his hands carefully by his head, clearly unarmed. "Hello?" he called out, eyeing the trees and lights above. "Yoon Jeonghan? Leader? Are you there?" It was a leap of faith that he wouldn't be shot down where he stood. "I would like to join your clan."

The sun was high in the sky and the birds were chirping the trees. At the sound of their song Jeonghan woke up, fresh eyed and ready to start the day. He dressed in the dark brown and green shirt and pants that were custom for his people to wear. They always have to blend in with their surroundings lest they be spotted by the enemy before they can see them. The element of surprise his one of the upper hands his people have and it needs to stay that way. Going to his dressing table, he sat in front of the mirror and started the most important routine of his day. He picked up a thin makeup brush and applied blue powder to his eyes, followed by yellow, green, and pink. Then he added yellow, green, and orange feathers to his eyelashes. Using the large brush, he put orange powder on his cheeks for the finishing touch. Completing his makeup, he stood from his seat and grabbed his weapons belt near the door. Checking all three of his throwing knives and the poison darts to make sure everything was in place, he strapped it around his waist, before grabbing his bow and quiver. Now he was ready to start the day.

Going to the second level by climbing down a ladder, he noticed a man walking back and forth under the base for their home. Creeping closer, he noticed the man was the one he's been speaking to for the late few weeks: Mark. They spoke friendly to each other, but he wouldn't consider them to be friends. Not by a long shot and he most definitely didn't invite him to his home. Glaring, he climbed down the second ladder until his feet landed on the ground. He pulled an arrow from his quiver and strung it up, holding it taunt when Mark turned to face him. The arrow was close to his eyes and would stab it out if he took a step closer. "What are you doing here Mark?"

@⸭ [L] Jeonghan - 1004 Mark hesitated to walk nearer the base. He looked up at the base and sighed. What did he think he wanted to do? He met Jeonghan a few times before and the man was a nice guy. When the first time they met, he felt that Jeonghan was really someone familiar. After the first time meeting him, he kept getting dreams about his past life, about Jeonghan and they were bad dreams. As the time passed by and with the result of always meeting him, the dream was actually the memory of the original's Mark. Actually Mark was one of Jeonghan's cousin on his father's side. He remembered being one of the jerks that judged him by being a gay when he was actually also a gay at the time but because of society, he was in closet. Mark felt guilty at Jeonghan for his previous doing so he kept being nice to him. Beside that, Jeonghan had been so nice to him ever since they met.

A few weeks before he decided to came to Jeonghan's base camp, he didn't saw him at their usual place so he decided to find him. He asked the people around the town about Jeonghan and he was being told that Jeonghan was a leader for his clan. Damn, he was a leader of a clan and Mark was a member of other's clan, this wasn't going to be good. That's what he thought but he still thought they should be close because they used to have a blood relation even it's the real them. He investigated and tried to find the base of Jeonghan's clan secretly because if his leader knew it, he was going to be death. At last after weeks of searching, he found it and there he was, walked back and forth in under the base.

When he turned around after thinking to give up and went home, he was startled when he saw the said man in front of him. "J-jeonghan!"
