@[W] Kim Jennie I lightly splashed my feet in the cold water and watched all the bubbles rise to the surface and pop. I was sitting in my usual spot at the edge of lake in the grass, watching the sun rise. The morning fog was barely touching the water but the sun light was dancing all over it. Today was my first day off of work in a long time so I wanted to relax for the first half of the day and then be productive later. Maybe I'll finally clean my apartment or do some much needed grocery shopping.
Eventually, I stood up and stretched my arms over my head, breathing in the cold air. I suddenly stopped when I heard a faint crack coming from behind me. I narrowed my eyes but I couldn't see too far into the near forest from where I was. I walked over to the forest line and surveyed the area. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary, I headed back to the water and decided to walk a little into it, just enough for the water to be at my knees. A little longer in the water wouldn't hurt, it's my day off anyway. I closed my eyes and simply embraced the nature around me. It was perfect.
