@Bae Joohyun Sumin's eyes scanned on the text of her book she is holding, her legs crossed and her foot tapped against the floor slowly. Clicking the back side of the pen to the table, she started to scribble down on her notebook while sticking her tongue out as a habit. A voice that was reading the text of the book was recorded in her mind, pausing for a while after hearing a loud groan escaped from her best friend—no, annoying girl that Sumin loves that is Joohyun.
Sumin set her pen on the table, turning her head to the side after feeling her frustrated friend leaning against her as the librarian shoot them a glare. She rested her index finger on Joohyun's head, pushing it gently to loosen the heaviness she felt from her shoulder.
"Because it is easier to concentrate when it is quiet." Sumin heaved a sigh, tipping against the chair with folded arms. "Didn't even make that much of a loud sound?" A small snort slipped out of . "Every words that comes from your mouth seems very loud." She patted the female's head lightly.
"Are you done competing the book in a staring game?" Sumin tilted her head to the side, narrowing her eyes at her partner in crime. "Seems like the book won." The corner of her lips tugs to a small grin.
@Baek Sumin Joohyun tapped her pen against the page of the book she was reading, her brows knitted together as she tried hard to focus entirely on her current task. She usually didn’t have any problems with Literature, but seriously, she was having a hard time trying to understand the passage they were told to read about. Her mind seemed to be unable to grasp onto anything coherent, and all she could do was to stare blankly at the empty page in her notebook, as though doing so would make words magically appear into the blank paper. She sighed for the nth time, throwing her head back.
“I give up, I’m not doing this thing,” she let out a groan—a little too loud, at that—and immediately regretted it upon receiving a stern look from their librarian. She ducked her head and leaned towards the female who sat beside her, her teeth sinking down her lower lip.
Beside her was her best friend—or at least, she thinks Sumin is her best friend. They go a long way back; it was actually all too amusing, their kind of friendship. “This is so frustrating. Why do we even have to be so quiet in the library, it’s not like the books are sleeping or something. I didn’t even make that much of a loud sound,” she complained, although knowing well the other female might not respond by taking her side.
