oo1. Undead: (when taking a soul, it does not mean you are alive again. only soulmates apply to that-- read below)
The Undead were once normal humans (under the age of 21) with normal lives until their untimely death occured. (death can range from car accidents to murder meaning that it could be anything)
A few days after their death, they were re-animated into the best versions of themselves.
Intelligent. Fluent in proper Korean*. Always young (stayed the same age as the time they died). Flawless. Perfect.
But they have no appetite.
No fatigue, meaning they don't fall asleep.
They never felt pain, nor emotion.
When scratched or bleeding, the wound heals almost instantly, leaving no trace.
That's where acting can always play a role.
Even though they're basically dead, they still have the memories of their old past unless you choose to block yourself out from the reality.
So, what's so bad about them?
Some of the Undead were the ones behind the 'heart attacks'.
The Undead have the ability to people's souls with a simple kiss, allowing them to feel stronger and younger (leaving the latter dead).
Usually, they scattered coins around their victims' bodies and on top of each eye to signify death (a coin is placed on each eye to disallow re-animation).
When an Undead is near a person, the latter will usually feel a loss of sensation.
The Undead will feel more alive, the other feels death. (As if the Undead were draining power)
The Undead had to watch out for certain people labeled as 'Monitors'.
(But love between a Monitor and an Undead could always happen.)
They were the known cause of an Undead's death.
How do Monitors kill the Undead?
They buried them six feet below the ground in a coffin and nailed it shut.
Simple enough, if the Undead don't put up a fight.
Gottfried taught the Undead to control their desire for more life, but -- of course -- there was always a handful of students that never listened.
>Undead could control their want for more life. Some just find it difficult.
oo2. Monitors: (may recommend which Plebeians could be promoted to Monitors by PM and we'll consider it)
The Monitors had a gift of sensing the dead.
They received an eerie cold sensation around them, causing them to draw near the dead.
If they ever encountered an Undead, they always carried a small hand-shovel -- for burying-- and some gauze -- to stuff in their mouths in order to prevent their soul from escaping them (but sometimes it failed).
They despised the Undead because they were known to be killers without a cause.
But love between a Monitor and an Undead could always happen.
The cause of their deaths are easy.
They could be killed in any way just like normal humans.
Or an Undead could steal their soul, usually with a kiss.
If their soul gets taken, they had the chance to be re-animated into an Undead.
Under certain circumstances, that is.
They could only become an Undead if they are not buried after a few days.
And if they are under twenty-one years old.
If they happen to be older, their life is gone. Just like that.
Gottfried taught these students to use their gift for good uses.
Monitors learned to kill.
Create coffins.
And defend themselves.
oo3. Plebeians:
Also known as: a human. (Self-explanatory)
Plebeians do not know whether or not someone is an Undead or is a Monitor.
They normally live along with them, as if nothing is wrong.
The only time they are aware of them is when they are promoted to a Monitor.
Or when an Undead decides to take their soul.
Depending on their age and death, they could re-animate into an Undead.
>Note: They are not supposed to know about the Undead or Monitors. You can only tell them about it in desperate measures or if you want.<
(NOT A POSITION) Soulmates: (one must be Undead & the other a Monitor/Plebeian)
Soulmates are known to be the ones that carry each other's soul.
That is usually determined by the date the Undead died in its human form.
The person who was born on the Undead's time of death is their soulmate.
(Ex: Jack died on February 30 -lol.
Jill was born on February 30.
They are each other's soulmate.)
If the Undead happens to find their soulmate, they can take their soul.
Once they do, the Undead will resume their normal life as a Plebeian,
while their soulmate dies and resumes their life as an Undead. (if not buried)
When with their soulmate,
the Undead feels stronger as if he were regaining his/her life.
(much more intense than the sensation with normal people)
>Note: Soulmates don't have to fall in love with each other but can<
Note: If two Undead people fall in love with each other, nothing happens.
*is supposed to be Latin, but is changed to Korean.
