@✟ Key Relief washed over him when Key accepted this time. The clan leader was unpredictable in Kame's eyes, making it hard to guess what the other wanted from him, and even harder to anticipate a next move. But it was exciting, too. For so long Kame had wandered on his own, drinking or killing here and there to stay alive and well, training his reflexes and perseverance.. But there was nothing /exciting/ about that. Nothing thrilling, nothing unpredictable. Every event easily led to another, the cause-effect relation being as clear as crystal. Being here, in the lion's cave, was dangerous, but also offered new hope, a new goal to put his mind to, and Kame loved it. Key expertly away the drops of blood, then invaded his mouth; this /was/ a movement Kame had predicted, and he easily answered, helping, supporting, bleeding tongue pressing against the Pureblood's. By the time Key was done, a subtle smirk tugged up the younger's lips. The small touch on his cheek was enough reward to know he'd pleased the other. Very well. Kame sat up, slowly moving after the older vampire. "How does my blood taste to you?" he asked, curiosity audibly underlining his tone. Tasting his own was just blood; it was neither dirty or delightful, just plain and neutral. His fangs showed when he grinned at the other's .. praise? confession? Because after all it had just been a game. The halfblood moved until he was standing behind the other, able to look at the paperwork in front of him, a feather light hand on the older's shoulder. He didn't know the rules, the social structures, didn't know what was appropriate and what wasn't - but since no one would explain to him in detail, why not just find out by himself. He'd find out soon enough if he went too far... or not far enough.
"Rumors about your existence where whispered in the town I was residing," Kame started, his head slightly tilting as he thought. "I've been a loner up until now, since I didn't think I was worthy of joining any group or clan. I'm neither a human nor full vampire, and as such, the only option was to join other halfbloods. But..." He hesitated, seeking for words. "They're weak. They've inherited too many human traits. I know I can't change how I was born, but I want to become a fully acknowledged and accepted member of a clan I respect. And thus I came here." His voice was soft but clear, the sound smooth. He spoke the truth - there was no sense in lying, no benefit at all. Even if there was something he could've lied about to make things better for now, they would find out eventually anyway, and he wasn't going to risk his staying here on something like that.
@✗ Kamenashi Content with Kamenashi's quick-witted attempt to appeal to his irrational demands, Key found himself shifting mindsets, no longer feeling the need to be as hard on the half-blood as he was before; lips stretching into an dastard smirk. With expert care and precision, the pureblood parted his lips and willingly lapped at the precious drops of blood coating the younger vampire's lips; his hot tongue soon daringly and forcefully intruding on the other's warm mouth, trying to get just a little more of the other's taste. He couldn't get enough of the foreign flavor. After retracting his tongue, Key gave the other's lips a final before parting- his eyes ablaze with a mix of lust and excitement- a glare befitting of a beast that had successfully cornered it's prey. There truly was something unique and delicious about a hybrid's blood... it was something exotic and refined, all the while retaining a feral spiciness. Chuckling as he pulled away, he caressed Kamenashi's cheek as if to say 'you did well', fully appreciating the boy's effort, before standing. With a sluggish sigh, he abandoned the couch and dragged his feet to the desk at the back of the room; finally acting like the 'leader' he was supposed to be. "That was much better." He emphasized the word 'much' and glanced over his shoulder, his tone light and playful, indicating he had really just been messing with the other vampire all along. True he did want Kame to bleed for him, but really, there were better ways of doing that aside from unrefined self-injury. "Since you have the right conviction, I suppose i better start taking this seriously too. After all, it is my job to give everyone an equal hearing, pureblood or not." Returning his fiery gaze to the blank documents that were scattered over the desk in an convoluted mess, he began writing a basic contract; using his own blood in place of ink- the pen digging deep into his palm as he wrote, "Any reason in particular that you feel compelled to join the clan, my dear half-blood fledgling? Surely you didn't decide to come here on a whim."
That was the first thing the half-blood realized, after he saw Key's expression. Not merely enough. The cat and mouse game had started; but whereas a normal mouse would find his solace in hiding, this one had dared to seek contact with the cat. Feline eyes, sharp teeth, possible claws. Comparing Key to a cat was actually quite fitting. A sleek but immensely strong hand wrapped itself around Kame's neck, the younger gasping and trying to breath, only to be falling backwards, an arm wrapping around the other's shoulder for support, the surprise clearly visible in his eyes. Only for a moment. The next moment, he fought back the urge to fight. He hated to be manhandled, hated to be forced, and his first instinct was to fight back, just as long as it took to get free. But this was Key. This was the clan. And so, he would try to show that he wasn't a mere plaything. That he was different. And that he could play this game too. Once more, Kame harshly bit his lip, the bleeding getting stronger. By the time he slightly tilted his head to meet Key's lips, his mouth was filled with blood. Like that he pressed their lips together, slightly parting his own, blood seeping down onto his chin. Now it was up to Key.
@✗ Kamenashi After countless centuries of observation, seeing deep into a persons soul was no longer a challenge for him. The masquerade of one’s strong will flaked away like leaves in autumn under his gaze, piece by piece falling, leaving nothing but a translucent wall behind- an open window to the soul. His vampiric eyes, blood red, would bore deep past that brittle shield and easily view the core. The half-blood was displaying signs and hints of discomfort through the cracks of his well-trained defense... probably subconsciously sensing the blood-thirsty intentions seeping from Key's rigid expression. Was it that obvious? Probably. One half of Kamenashi looked ready to bolt, causing the feral best within him to salivate, his lips parting as he lapped slowly at his own parched lips. 'Do it, I dare you,' he thought to himself. The other half of Kame looked like he was already well-ensnared in Key’s toxic trap; the hybrid willfully winding around his finger like a marionette doll ready to be played. The idea made his fangs throb, each deadly incisor craving to snap down into the little rabbit who ventured too far into his den.
The little drop of blood that was ejected on the cold marble floor, carved a cruel smirk onto his face. Dissatisfaction. “Is that… really enough.” The vampire then grinned, teeth glinting in the room’s ominously dull lighting, several candles flickering as he let his excitement show –briefly- in his eyes. More. Graceful like a snake slipping towards its unsuspecting prey, Key teetered forwards, hand splaying dangerously over Kamenashi’s throat, wrapping tight around the delicate portion, “Sorry if I’m a little rough.” The vampire murmured coarsely, his throat automatically drying at the scent of blood, invoking the urge to drink, “I ain’t all too good at controlling myself.” With a hard shove and smooth twist of his wrist, Key forced his victim down on the couch; promptly covering the half-blood’s body with his own. His palm left the hybrid’s neck, his lips waiting dangerously close to Kamenashi’s mouth as he cradled the half-blood’s cheeks within his warm palms, his tongue lapping once against those beautifully reddened lips, “Not enough, Kame… If you don’t give it, I’ll take it by force, you know.”
@✟ Key Did everybody feel this way, Kame wondered, when being around this particular vampire? Somehow, he didn't seem to be able to relax in his presence, feeling like he /had/ stepped into the lion's cave, now face to face with a fearsome predator. Of course, in a sense that was the truth, but Kame wasn't the prey. So why did the other have this effect on him? The younger's eyes flashed to Key, surprise visible when the other admitted to loving half-bloods. But it.. was more than that. That flicker in the pureblood's eyes, that pointy grin, suggesting that there was so much more to this matter than he was letting out. So instead of comforting him, it sent a shiver down the half-blood's spine, close to thinking it had been better if Key admitted to hating them. At least then it would be clear; now they were entering some game of cat and mouse, one Kame wasn't sure of winning. Not with Key's hundreds and hundreds of years worth of experience. His breathing stopped once Key inched closer, holding his face. Kame stared back, not really -scared-, but obviously not comfortable either. However, he refused to show that, resulting in some confusing body language. I want to go - I have to stay. He let the other's words sink in, quietly wondering if everything was true as he stared back into those dark, meaningful orbs. Kame listened, quiet, only looking away again when he heard the request. Bleed for me. Kame gazed at the pen at his hand, disregarding it as a weapon. Never had he expected to have to cut himself, or worse, bite himself... The young vampire was reluctant to do the latter, and besides, it wouldn't be surprising if he bit down into his arm or something. No. He had to come up with something.... More creative.
It took a few seconds, but finally Kame's lips tugged up into a smirk, once more staring at Key, more confident now. Without really showing any signs, the vampire bit down onto his own tongue, vampire teeth slipping into the lump of flesh. His breathing hitched for a moment, the pain way worse than he'd expected, even though he had been careful not to actually bite a part of, just.. make it bleed. Well. It tasted disgusting, too, not even just the taste, but every cell in him appalled against the liquid. Soon enough, he spat away the blood that was collected by now, sideways so it would land on empty floor. Then he looked back at Key, tongue slowly sliding along his lips, leaving a bloody trail as he did so. "Are you content with this, Key-sshi?" he spoke, having a bit of an accent due to a slightly different use of his tongue while speaking.
@✗ Kamenashi The air was heavy with tension, silent and unmoving, almost as if there was no air at all- which wasn’t a problem since vampire’s didn’t really need to breathe, but the donors were growing increasingly uncomfortable. The elite vampire was quietly thinking to himself, his ruby eyes gazing blankly at nothing. Soon as if a tidal wave crashed over the room, his voice broke the silence and rolled off his tongue, almost unheard, “I don’t dislike half-bloods.” The vampire’s head tilted, teeth baring in a devilish grin, “In fact… I love half-bloods.” Each word was loaded with hidden meaning, hinting that there was something more to what he was saying than what he was letting on. It was true, the pureblood held no real misgivings towards the half-breeds. They weren’t perfect- pure- like the vampires he cherished within his clan… but they were still special to him. A species that he had yet to fully understand. The way two different DNA’s were intertwined within one creatures body… he loved the idea of it. Shifting on the couch, the vampire pressed his thigh against Kamenashi’s, leaving no room between them as he leaned closer. Something about the half-blood was making him hungry... he couldn't stop himself from inching closer like a beast hunting its prey. Perhaps it was their youthful scent? The pureblood firmly gripped Kamenashi’s face, forcing their eyes to meet, his own black hair obscuring his vision as it messily fell over his eyes, “Don't look away from me.You really want to be a part of my clan, don’t you? That means becoming a part of me. Never... ever parting.” The vampire murmured to the other in a honey-sweet voice, “My clan was mostly turned by me. Get it? They died and suffered for me... and they turned into my precious family. So the first thing you need to do for me is-…” The vampire whispered while placing the pen he was previously holding into the half-blood’s hand, “Bleed for me.” Finally pulling away, the vampire gave the other a daring smirk; his crimson eyes glinting between the strands of his messy hair. “How you do it doesn’t matter. Surprise me, half-blood. Show me your conviction.”
@✟ Key Kame was taken aback by the clan leader's first question. No, he hadn't knocked. He had thought this was a common room, so didn't think about that courtesy. Well, . "I apologize," he mumbled, bowing his head once more. However, the other didn't seem particularly angry, more like amused, which was a relief. Even so, the aura surrounding the other screamed 'power'. It was insane, and the young half-blood had never met someone alike of him. 'You are a half-blood.' Kame clenched his jaws, yet managed to nod. Not for the first time, he hated his parents, wishing he had been born as a pureblood instead, or even as a human. Not something in-between. His eyes settled on Key's crimson ones, nodding gravely. "I do, and I'm aware of what I'm asking. But I didn't choose to be born like this, and I'd give everything to become more than I was born as." Kame's eyes flicked to the donors scrambling away from the couch, a small, amused smile tugging on his lips. Like well-trained dogs. He expected to be going through a similar training; but other than an obedient dog, he would do more than what he's asked, show initiative, and show his determination by working hard. He believed that was the only way he could ever become a full member of the clan. At Key's words, the half-blood bowed his head and smoothly moved over to the couch, sitting down. It was hard to meet the other's eyes from so close, so instead he let them travel around the room, taking in the details. From up close, Key's scent was even more clear, unable to ignore. It was pleasant, like someone using the most subtle, but gorgeous perfume. One that had you pay close attention to. He realized he'd been quiet ever since introducing himself, and his eyes flashed to Key for a short moment. "What are your requirements for joining the clan?" he asked, a bit nervous as he awaited the answer.
@✗ Kamenashi Resting comfortably on the couch, Key worked patiently on the endless amounts of paperwork he had to stamp and file- all regarding internal affairs within the clan. Most of it was burdening his office desk- but he dumped that chore on Soohyuk and Bambam, his royal guards. The pureblood was dressed casually, donning a white button-up shirt that was a relic of old-style fashion, the first couple buttons undone to reveal a daring amount of his chest. The collar of his shirt was stained with blood; a direct result of casual feeding. A donor was kneeling in front of him, gazing up at him with starry eyes, while another sat on the edge of the couch, shyly combing her fingers through his hair; these were little things that Key didn’t even take notice of anymore. It was common for donors to flock to powerful vampires, seeking favoritism with them. The more powerful the vampire, the more pleasant the bite-… or so he was told. He wouldn’t have known if it weren’t for the donors telling him so. Twirling a pen in one hand, he gazed at the pristine white papers clutched tight within his other. He could vaguely hear the door opening, and only spared the uninvited stranger a brief glance, crimson eyes scorning the newcomer’s unexpected visit, “Did you knock?” The elite vampire drawled with a growing smirk. Of course not.
An irregular blood flow-… a strangely sweet scent-… an unpredictable heritage...
Averting his gaze away from the male named ‘Kamenashi’, Key hummed quietly to himself. “You are a half-blood.” The ancient vampire stated simply, lowering the documents he was holding to the floor. It was a simple statement. The truth. Kamenashi was what could only be called a ‘mutt’ among show-dogs right now. “Do you … even realize the weight of your words? Joining the clan is hard enough without being a half-breed… But I’m sure you already know that.” Shifting to a more upright position, Key beckoned the other closer, eyes glittering darkly with an unspoken challenge. It was a wordless command. The donors flocking him immediately dispersed to one side, moving to stand behind the couch to clear a vacant spot on the couch for Kamenashi, “ Sit with me, young Kazuya… Let us discuss this matter more intimately.”
The vampire in front of him hadn't even made a sign he noticed his presence; however, at his words, a head turned his way, disinterest obvious in his eyes. Because he was a pureblood, and Kame was a half blood. He was looked down upon by the race he saw as his own kind; however, they clearly saw it differently, and as always it made his skin burn with anger. Silence. Kame took a deep breath, trying to calm himself; fighting wouldn't do any good, and possibly ruin the only chance he had. He had trained years before daring to come here. Years of solitude, strenghtening himself, trying to become the best he could be. Even still, he knew he was no match for this vampire, and that was frustrating as hell. "I've got the -right- to-" he hissed, but was interrupted by a nonchalant "Yeah, yeah, I'll lead you to him." The younger's eyes narrowed into a glare, but even still followed the other vampire into the mansion. It was grand, the furniture maybe old-fashioned by human standards but very vampire-like. Kame found himself smiling as they walked through the corridors, at times peeking into one of the rooms. All too soon, they stood still. "This is the common room, Key is in there. Good luck." The vampire flashed him a toothy grin, which had Kame rolling his eyes. He wasn't some human walking into the lion's cave, and didn't need anybody's 'good luck'.
Another deep breath, then he opened the door and stepped inside. Head held high he scanned the room. Luckily he'd eaten already, otherwise the temptation of so many donors at hand would be big; now his eyes focussed on the only vampire in the room, his existence impossible to miss. It was like he was a part of the furniture; he belonged here, and always would. Kame stepped closer, standing still at two meters from where the vampire was sitting, then bowed. "My name's Kazuya Kamenashi, and I want to become a member of your clan," he spoke, only after he was done lifting his head and looking at the way older vampire, wanting to see his expression, his thoughts. Of course he'd heard the rumors, and Key wasn't to be taken lightly.
@Yoongi Soohyuk loosened his grip allowing the male to yank his hands away from his collar, only empty chuckles could escape his lips. Maybe it was just him but he absolutely hated and liked how calm he was all the time. Snatching the pack away from the male's hands he rolled up his sleeves and injected himself with the needed dosage before getting up walking back to the pale Yoongi standing by the door fixing his collar. "Sorry got a little aggressive there-" Midway through his own sentence he grabbed the male by the neck and pulled him close to him for a kiss. A rough one too. He bite onto the lower lip of the other dominating his mouth with his tongue before pulling away for breath. "Blunt little Yoongi at least has soft lips." Feeling the corner of his lips tug up into a smile Soohyuk whistled as he walked over to open all the curtains and looked out the window observing the other clan members going about their day.
@❖ Lee Soohyuk Yoongi kept his eyes closed until the door was slammed open, also getting pushed against the wall, his back aching but he didn't mind it though. He slowly opened his red eyes, looking at the certain frustrated vampire in front of him, still keeping his straight and emotionless face. "I beg your pardon, sir." He stated, almost mocking the loyal guard in front of him and that was until he heard the last sentence, his eyebrows clearly twitched, showing the sign that he eas disturbed by the comment. "My procedures and duties as a trainer does not follow treating your minor mistakes. Other vampires who are free can do these extea duties for you, don't they?" He added, as he raised his pale hands to yank the weakened grips away, placing himself down back on the ground again, rubbing his neck before fixing his collar from his shirt.
@Yoongi Soohyuk continuously tapped his fingers against the table and shook his head in irritation massaging his temples trying to shake off the thoughts of anger rushing through his body. Time seemed to drag on and his impatient side had him clutching tightly onto the armchair before jumping up rushing to the door and slamming it open. Within seconds he gripped onto his collar pulling him inside only to slam him against the wall nearby. "Do you understand how much of nuisance you are?" Slowly he let his fingers trace down the pale faced Yoongi outlining his jaw. "You've been getting a little too relaxed lately. I nornally don't expect people to look up to me because I am a loyal guard. However I do expect you to follow procedures."
@❖ Lee Soohyuk Yoongi got some important things to do before following Soohyuk's orders, Yoongi wasn't the loyal guard's personal assistant and he knew that he couldn't be there for him all the time since he was assigned to. His first task was a trainer, training little vampires and newborns, that's another reason why he was busy tonight. After hearing that Soohyuk needs his injection, he sighed because it wasn't the first that the guard needed one. Yoongi quickly took the injection pack, running out from the medic room before walking up to Soohyuk's room, knocking on his door even though he knew that the vampire that's on the other side of this door couldn't even open the door for him. A little joke, a joke just to let himself feel better to see the higher vampire being weaker than him for a brief moment.
@Yoongi Soohyuk glanced out the window from behind the curtains, barely missing the sunlight from hitting his skin. Every time it did it would burn and send painful sensations through his body he couldn't help but be annoyed. If Yoongi had brought the injections on time he would have been able to go about his day as usual. The injections were such an essential item. They were medically developed to be used on vampires, creating antibodies to fight against the reaction their body had when in contact with the sun. Sure Soohyuk was to be blamed a little since he did not tell him in advance but nonetheless, they had been living the same place for a while he should know the procedures by now. Gripping tightly onto the curtains and tightly shutting them Soohyuk growled before leaning against the wall waiting impatiently for Man he needed most as of now.
i'm so sorry for the short stay but i couldn't find muse for kyungsoo so he has to leave.
