@✟ Key Soohyuk let out a soft exhale as he felt gentle touches fixing up his messed up dark brown hair, he was a little shocked to see Key being caring. A part of him knew Key was always looking out for his clan but since Soohyuk was pretty much labelled the black sheep of the clan he was often excluded or disliked strongly those who were extra loyal to Key. "Am I that hard to understand...?" Hearing the usual commanding voice of the other now much softer he glanced up at Key's now not so cold and distant face, it was almost as if he was apologetic. Which was a first. Exhaling softly he grunted using the slowly returning strength in his body to lift him self up to at least sit up and lean back against the somewhat comfy chair. "I will bring you your meal. The only donor available was a twelve year little girl. I just couldn't do it. I promise to bring your meals on time princess." A weak chuckle escaped his lips coughing softly, his eyes followed as the usual stotic expression returned. The smile disappeared from his own face when he heard what he said, trying to potentional shield one human could have ended in chaos. Was it necessary for him to be here? Maybe it wasn't the best idea, but he had sworn to be loyal. He was, he never betrayed Key but it was obvious he was seen as pretty much a trouble maker in Key's eyes. "Yeah. Try not to feed off children or the elderly. Is that too much to ask?" Staring at Key he panted softly as he pretty much regretted talking too much right away.
@❖ Lee Soohyuk Feeling partially guilty for putting his underling in such a degrading state, the vampire found himself closing the distance between them once again, this time though, it was not done with predatory intentions- rather his actions were full of purpose and concern. One hand outstretched, he gently fixed the hair atop Soohyuk's head, his eyes distant and withdrawn, "Am i that hard to understand...?" The contradicting personalities within him were once again a result of him for living for far too long, having a different attitude for every possible situation. The icy expression normally plaguing the pureblood's face soon shifted to a more wistful one, wordlessly expressing his apology. Perhaps this was a good chance for them to discuss their differences, "Look... we don't get along, fine. You have different ideologies regarding the humans and our relationship with them. Also fine. However I can't say I'm willing to keep you as a guard if you're going to do something as reckless as not bringing me a meal when I request for one." The steely mask from before once again returned to Key's face, his black hair creating a curtain over his eyes as he tilted his head down, taking a deep breath, searching for his next words, "Lets say I was really hungry, okay? Maybe I was. What if you didn't bring me something? What if... i went on a rampage in the village as a result? Do you EVER think before you act-" Biting his tongue to suffocate his escalating anger, the vampire whipped around and slammed his fist down on the desk, cracking the surface and shooting a few papers up in the air, " forget it. You're not in the right state for this kind of talk." Pausing for a moment, the tension in the air faded as he spoke, still keeping his back turned to Soohyuk as he hid his expressionless face, "Can I get you anything to help you feel better?"
@✟ Key Soohyuk watched from the floor with droopy eyes as Key continued to pick the papers spread across the floor from him dashing back and forth at lightening speed. He would have said something but he didn't want to waste energy by saying something. Key never really listened to what he said. Sending Key looks of sarcasm was all he could afford as Key asked the rhetorical question. Blood would be restored within 3 hours but gosh it was annoying how he could really move. His energy was so low and he could barely manage any large movements. Glancing at Key when he felt his cold hand cup his face he quietly exhaled before speaking in a soft whisper. "I don't hate you. I just don't get you." For a few moments he wondered what Key was thinking it was quite obvious he was on a blood high. Eyes sparkling and skin glowing from the feed off him he wondered what he was doing. Soon he was lifted up Key's arms and slowly he eas held up, quietly he rested just let his body lean against him. This wasn't the time for him to be prideful. Maybe the blood high was getting to him, curiously he turned his head to look at Key as he carried him and felt him stumble with his feet awkwardly. "Thank you." Soohyuk quietly spoke into the other's ear. He wasn't quite sure where he was taking him but at the very least he hadn't be left on the floor. In all honesty Soohyuk thought Key would leave him there since he never seemed to like him too much. In Key's defence he rarely listened to him.
@❖ Lee Soohyuk It had been a long time since Key last had a sip of the forbidden holy grail –pure vampire blood- powerful and thick like honey. Two years, was it? With a rough jerk, he stepped away from Soohyuk, eyes chastising his subordinates pitiful form which rested by his feet, “Don’t regret your decision now. You chose this yourself.” He scorned the other, using his slender fingers to wipe away the smeared blood on his lips, only to skillfully clean them with his tongue. Stepping away from the other vampire for a brief moment, Key knelt down to retrieve a slip of paper that managed to fall to the floor during the little ‘exchange’ and placed it back where it belonged; his eyes briefly flicking to the other as he did so, “Did… I really take that much?” Wouldn’t be the first time he ed up. Wouldn’t be the last. . Returning to his subordinates side in a flash too fast for a human’s eyes, he knelt down and cupped Soohyuk’s cheek, every vampiric feature on Key’s body blindingly radiant after having indulged in such a feast, his fangs extended more than usual, “Really, what am I going to do with you. Loves humans. Hates me. Can’t behave. Disobedient.” His words weren’t bursting with authority anymore- rather, they were void of everything, blank; his eyes still swirling with the after-glow of a blood-lust. Releasing his held-breath, he braced himself before scooping Soohyuk in his arms. Key wasn’t weak by any means, but he still struggled to carry the man due to suffering from a blood-high, similar to being drunk. He stumbled. Didn’t drop Soohyuk. Good. Another reason why drinking other vampire’s blood was a bad idea. His intention was to place Soohyuk in his office chair, anywhere would look better than the floor- because even though he put Soohyuk in that state, he still wanted his underling to feel comfortable with the aftermath- as comfortable as one could feel when utterly drained.
@✟ Key An airy sharp gasp was forced through his mouth as he felt the male sink his teeth once again into his neck making him moan as more of his life was exiting his body. Continously squirming and trying to push the other away. Knees weak and shaking barely managing to stand up. Placing his hand on Key's chest he pushed him away whimpering. "Please stop-" Soohyuk bit down onto his lower lips to prevent him finishing what he was about to say. His pride prevented him from ever letting the words leave his lips. No longer in the position where he could exert any power he couldnt help but slump against the other tugging on his shirt giving him non verbal cues to stop. Body now close to limp he panted softly in pure relief as his body collpased against Key's shoulders he gripped onto his arms trying to recover from the loss he had just suffered. Incoherent words were all he could say in response to Key as his hair was brushed back with his cold long fingers. Grunting, he glanced at Key with drowsy eyes as he was pulled by his hair and before he could protest he felt the other's lips against him. Not that he would have had the strength to push him away. Wet liquid, his own blood smear against his jaw as he was kissed. Soohyuk let the other explore and dominate his mouth with his blood stained tongue only groaning trying to signal him to stop. It wasn't out of the ordinary for vampires to only see humans as a form of food, in fact Soohyuk was the odd one. He was just more violent in comparision to the others. Meeting eyes with Key once more he watched him as he spoke wiping is own blood from his lips, he felt the need to speak and get his point across yet all he could manage was a whisper. "The clan is first but you aren't." Panting he grunted inf his hands against Key's chest to push him away and he felt onto the floor trying his best to recover. In maybe in a couple of hours he would be able to get up.
@❖ Lee Soohyuk The way Key could feel Soohyuk’s body quivering in his arms was like an aphrodisiac, coaxing his inner beast to bite a little harder. He briefly retracted his fangs only to re-insert them right next to the previous wound, doubling the amount of blood he could withdraw from his subordinates neck. He groaned in ecstasy. In the past, biting one’s own kind was forbidden- like a taboo that should never be broken, similar to that of two human siblings laying with each other in the same bed; however when Key came into power, he abolished that divine rule. He did it for reasons like this. The vampire wanted to feel the strength drain from his kin’s bodies, right from under his greedy palms. Soohyuk had a husky flavor bordering on savory, which was a pleasant surprise to Key. With one more powerful he jerked his head back, his replenished strength reverberating through every inch of his being, “You can like human’s, Soohyuk. But you should always-…” The vampire purred, slipping his long fingers through the other’s silky hair, “… like me more.” Gripping harshly on the strands, he forced their lips together in a deep and bloody kiss; the crimson fluid trickling down Key’s jaw as he briefly forced his tongue inside, dragging it along the roof of Soohyuk’s mouth. All too soon he withdrew, putting some distance between their bodies as he let his arms grow slack. Key had been living alongside vampire’s way before their population decreased; living in a time where they had been top of the food-chain without any hunters to hunt them. He had seen many things, lived through many near-death encounters, and witnessed the deaths of many vampires. There were several incidents that he suffered through at the hands of the humans that he would never, ever, forgive. “The clan comes first, Soohyuk.” He pointed out in a small voice, using his thumb to dry the blood that shimmered on his weakened subordinates lips, “Don’t.. ever… forget that.”
@✟ Key Maybe he was desensitized but mostly because didn't fully understand the dangers of the man. Born a pureblood vampire from birth yet had no intereaction with other vampires until two centuries ago, which was quite recent. No was there to threaten or teach him anything, perhaps that was what had resulted in his reckless personality. This was not ideal but maybe this would allow him to consider act enough to let go of what had just happened just now. As the other's aura wrapped around him he couldn't help but feel supressed and weakened, but he wasn't going to back out. Also it wasn't like the male would let him leave. The other leaned against his own chest as he held firmly onto the other's neck. Hearing the other's words reacting almost violently. Clenching his fingers into a tight fist, soon they were shaking in irritation as a reaction to his mocking tone. Tilted his head exposing his neck even more, mostly because he didn't want to see the other pierce his neck with his fangs. Feeling the firm grip against his hips he prepared for the stinging pain once he felt the other's lips gainst his skin. Maybe the pressure getting to him but his body reacted almost shivering at was was to come. His body jerked lightly from the sudden pressure of Key's fingers pressing into his skin. He knew deep down at any moment and any second Key wanted to he could pierce his body. Feeling the hot breath of the other he continued to try his best and not pay attention to him but his condescending words did not help. "I don't hate my kind. I just like humans. What is wrong with that. I work for you don't I-" A soft groan escaped his lips as he felt the sharp teeth of the other sink into his neck soon felt the strength in his hand loosen. The grip on Key's neck was loosened and his hand slid down his back, but he still wanted to have some control of his body. Barely he managed to grip onto the back of his shirt scrunching it in his hands. Losing control, he now was gasping for breath groaning in pain as he felt live being out from him. Heavy breathing and turning pale than he already was he was now shaking trying his best to pull away from Key. Now his instincts were kicking in, he wanted to live.
@❖ Lee Soohyuk An unpleasant bile rose up in his throat when he was forcefully drawn closer to the vampire’s neck, being hyper-aware of the man’s palm gripping the back of his neck. How many years had it been since another vampire had dared to place their grubby hands on him like that? Several centuries had passed… and the one who did it was no longer alive to this day. A wicked smirk spread across the pureblood’s lips as he temporarily allowed the interaction, reveling in the unique situation, one which was so unfamiliar to him. His menacing aura doubled, two-fold, as he lazily leaned his body forward, arms hanging by his sides, fingers poised as if ready to gouge out the other male’s throat if he went too far. Their chests bumped- the fabric of Key’s soft white button-up bunching between them. The vampire could feel it- the foreign aura that emanated from Soohyuk’s body. Sometimes Key would wonder about it. What kind of vampire turned Soohyuk? If he knew the answer, maybe he would be able to understand his subordinate a little better. Why was Soohyuk so invested in the humans' well-being? “What a perfect little hero you are. The humans must adore you… A sympathetic vampire.” The vampire’s lips pressed firmly against the other male’s neck, not biting, simply kissing against the historically younger vampire's skin. Both of his hands firmly grasped onto Soohyuk’s hips; his claws pin-pricking into the fleshy skin, sharp enough to be felt through the shirt but not enough to cut. The malicious tension coagulating within Key soon manifested in the air around them as he parted his lips, speaking hotly over where he intended to sink his fangs, “If you hate your own kind so much, why don’t you just go kneel for those damn humans.” He growled before possessively snapping his teeth into the man’s neck, hard, forcing a copious amount of blood into his own mouth. His own anger temporarily dissipating as he instead drowned himself in the over-powering taste of vampire blood, both hands looping around Soohyuk’s back as he powerfully, showing no mercy or restraint.
@✟ Key Soohyuk met eyes with the other as ge scowlled at him, it was quite evident he was hangry and he understood that feeling being a vampire himself but up to this point he still had no regrets. Sometimes it suprised Soohyuk how often Key let him off the hook for pretty much never following his orders. He also never did things in the particular way Key wanted, not on purpose but because in his mind his own way was better. Too bad he didn't seem like he would let him off today. No way he would considering his thirst for blood. There were no substitutes nearby and since he had already once disobeyed his orders there was an even higher chance he wouls not be allowed to go on the same errand twice. Also there were no guarantees there would be any donors in the second town a little further away from here. The next option he had was kidnapping, however he preferred not to. Especially since he wished to keep his ties of peace with some towns. "I don't particularly enjoy it. I think you just misinterpreted most of my intentions." Soohyuk spoke loud and clear as the other flashed across from the other side and hung his arms around his shoulders leaving not even an inch of space between them. He was a little startled but the lack of personal space didn't bother him too much. Within seconds his body froze a little feeling the other his sharp nails against his neck. His instincts kicked in as he tried to moved a far as he could away from Key. Now with his body reacting to the uncomfortable situation every word he spoke was impailed into his mind. "I'm more of an outdoor kind of creature. Also it would be kind of dull knowing you would be me only social interaction." He spoke in a calm manner. Feeling very uneasy inside he did what he could trying not to show the small amount of fear the other had stirred up within him. It was clear he only had two options, and like he said he preferred the outdoors. He also knew, staying in would mean less protection for the village. Without much thought Soohyuk grabbed the back of other's neck firmly leading Key to his own neck. "Enjoy."
@❖ Lee Soohyuk Leaning back against the door with a soft 'thump' Key glared at the other vampire with an annoyed scowl , half-heartedly crossing his arms in an attempt to control his emotions. Truthfully he wasn't horribly mad... just hungry, and therefore irritated. There wasn’t any other vampire in the clan who would continuously defy him like this- … But that was where Soohyuk was painstakingly different. He was the one vampire who would speak out against all of his policies, always challenging his authority at any given chance he got. Annoying? Yes. Unpleasant? Not really. Soohyuk's lone rebellion was like a breath of fresh air to him among a clan that knelt whenever he told them to. But still… those feelings wouldn’t cure his current hunger pains, and thus he would still need to reprimand his royal guard somehow- even if only to release his petty frustrations on the man. "You enjoy sabotaging me, don't you Soohyuk?" He mumbled to himself, clicking his tongue. Two can play that game. In a flash, Key’s black hair fluttered as he promptly closed the short distance between them, one arm looping around Soohyuk's shoulders with an uncanny grace that was unbefitting of his malicious personality. Being predatory by nature, he couldn’t stop himself from stroking his nails against his subordinates neck; a silent threat that needed no words. "Why don't you do my job for a couple days? No feeding for three days. No social contact aside from me for three days. No breaks... for three days. I did it. Surely. You. Can. Too." Each word was heavily laced with venom; his breath warm as he brought his lips to the other males ear, whispering just loud enough for Soohyuk to hear, "Or... you can be my replacement meal for the day. Your choice."
@✟ Key Soohyuk was no idiot, even though nine times out of ten he gave that impression. It was obvious Key was irritated by the lack of human he had brought back. "I suppose you did but all the donors were busy today." The only donor alive in the town he visited was a young teenage girl. It was risky busy when bringing back a human, depending on his mood things would end well or take a turn for the worst. The aura radiating from Key was nothing pleasant, it almost suffocated Soohyuk. In complete silence his eyes followed each step Key took from his desk to the door. Click. That was was final straw, enough enough send chills down this vampire's body. He meant business. Maybe it was a mistake not bringing that human back with him, but he despited that more than half the clan consisted of vampires who were once human. Joining the clan meant the prevention of these cases occuring. It wasn't the first time he hadn't brough back a human with him, Key normally would let him go after going off at him, but today he could sense he was on edge and what he would say next would impact the series of events which were to unravel. Explaining himself would make it worse. Chuckling softly he shook his head shrugging, "Nothing happened. There were just no volunteers." Soohyuk spoke before walking away from him, maybe it was instinct but he felt the need to keep a distance. "You had your last feed 2 days ago. Can't you wait?"
@❖ Lee Soohyuk The elite vampire glanced over his shoulder at the entering male, raking his blood-red gaze over his subordinates body, seeming to have an unimpressed frown resting upon his lips. He wasn’t imagining things. Soohyuk really didn’t bring a human. Sighing almost inaudibly, Key flipped over a few sheets of paper and stamped them, the last of them, finally signifying the end of his work. For three days, he had remained holed up in his office, not stepping outside to take a break- not even once to eat. Just like the documents spread around him, his patience was already paper thin. Normally he would play along and humor Sookhyuk's playful attitude... but he was really too hungry for that right now. Fingers twitching, he slowly turned around and leaned back against the desk, palms gripping the edge tightly in an attempt to diffuse his building irritation as he faced the younger vampire. “Soohyuk. I asked you to do one simple thing for me.” He reminded the other vampire with a polite sentence, though his tone was anything but gentle. It was condescending. The air around them was crackling with tension, sharp enough to nip at the skin of any vampire, further proving how unpleasantly disappointed Key was in Soohyuk’s lack of conviction. “What happened?” He questioned, pushing himself away from the desk as he crossed the room, gently closing the door. A simple ‘click’ filled the room as he locked the door, wordlessly warning the subordinate vampire that Key had really snapped this time. A warning that Key was trying to prevent any other vampires in the clan to bear witness to what could potentially go down between him and his supposed ‘royal guard’, depending on how the other answered.
@✟ Key What was meant to be a short trip had turned into a little observation game for Lee Soohyuk. Heading back to the town, crowded with humans going about their day doing what they needed and wanted all he could do was glance and wonder what it would be like not to be thirsty. Eyes sparkling as he watched knowing the human passing him by were a source of food but also a being he wished to befriend. Feeling the light pat on his shoulder he glanced back at his donor friend, who had volunteered to come back with him to for Key drink from. Still feeling uneasy about the man, despite srrving him for over 2 centuries he decided against it. What if halfway through the feed he decided to turn the human into one of them? Shaking his had he gave the girl a reassuring smile before ruffling her hair. Clicking his tongue against his teeth he wondered what would be the best excuse for not bring a person back. Deep in thought thinking a million lies he could tell the man, he picked one that seemed a little better than the others. Knocking a few times he waited for the same old usual mumbling before coming inside with a small goofy grin. "Hello princess. What have you been up to all day?" It was a joke he create about Key, mostly to do with how high maintenance and demanding he was. Whistling he walked into the room he went up to Key's side only to ruffle his hair and glance over the papers. It wasn't that he disrespected Key, he still could not understand the difference between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour.
@❖ Lee Soohyuk Papers covered the desk, the floor, the chair, the shelves... even the vampire in the center of it all seemed to be covered with papers. A hundred or so sheets were neatly tucked in his arms as he reached for another five that were resting upon a high shelf, an expression of grief and disdain contorting his normally stoic face. This and that happened during the past month- a half-blood wanting to join the clan, the great royal guard recruitment trial, a spy being sent to the hunter's association- there was simply too much paperwork to do. Thankfully, he managed to finish stacking everything into neat little piles on his desk before the sun rose, leaving him utterly drained. He was so thankful that he had requested Soohyuk to bring him a human earlier- he really needed a drink right about now. Upon hearing a knock on the door, he mumbled a small 'enter', silently praying it was Soohyuk with his meal.
i'm so sorry for the short stay but i couldn't find muse for kyungsoo so he has to leave.
this is a really good rp and i hope for the best for bite me! thank you for having me~
