@♛ Baekhyun A riot. The whole thing was crippling the vampire with an overwhelming desire to laugh, causing him to crumple pitifully to the floor, gripping his stomach and clamping his other hand over his mouth, trying to suffocate the urge- all the while he probably just looked like he was trying not to barf at the sight of blood. It was a win-win act, and he internally praised himself for being a good actor. "I'll... I'll be over in a s-sec." The vampire stuttered weakly, winded by his own act.
Once the hunter's back was turned, Key straightened up and dusted himself off, expression becoming smug as he trotted over; both eyes snapping to the carelessly abandoned torch as he did. Seriously? With a single arched brow, the vampire clasped his hands behind his back and leaned down towards the flashlight, admiring the sturdy frame. It must have been expensive.
"Is she going to be alright?" The vampire asked innocently, inching just a bit closer to the flashlight; his eyes gleaming with excitement but voice laden with sorrow to pretend he was sad. As soon as the hunter applied the finishing touches to the woman, Key smirked, promptly crushing the flashlight with an overwhelming pressure created by his mind, causing the light to flicker rapidly, on and off like a scene in a horror movie- the fluttering darkness concealed everything as Key released a fake-scream , pretending to have been knocked down by an invisible force. When the light stopped flashing, there were a few changes to their surroundings.
The woman? Gone. A bloody trail leading several feet away before vanishing altogether. Key was 'wounded', his arm covered with blood and a gaping wound, his body warily leaning against a box, eyes wide with fear, "B-baekhyun? What happened..." The word's 'you are next' eerily carved in blood on the box next to Key's body. "W-was that a vampire...?"
@✓ Jeonghan {jailed} Brown eyes blinked watching the male weakly sitting up which made Sugizo on edge. He shook his head as he stood finally but fell back where he was before. Sugizo readjusted the male's legs in more comfortable laying position and put a couch pillow under his head. "No. You're too weak at the moment. It's best to stay here until you've healed."
The hunter blinked again at his words from before, processing it through his mind. "There's no need to be sorry. Do you want me to get you anything? Are you alright?"
@♜ Yune Sugihara After relaxing in the arms of the stronger male, he fell into a deep slumber, only to wake up upon the soft words from the other male. "...Can you hear me?" He then slowly opened his eyes, squinting immediately to adjust to the light before opening them fully to look around the place he's never seen before. He opened his mouth to reply, though no voice came out. So he tried again until a soft "yes" escaped his lips. He then turned to the male next to him and slowly sat up. "I-I'm sorry," he immediately apologized and touched his forehead, his heart throbbing against his temples. He needed to rest for a few minutes, but he knew he couldn't be here. He couldn't be in a hunter's house.
"I'm sorry," he repeated again and stood up, only to fall back onto the couch. "I should leave."
@✓ Jeonghan {jailed} It didn't take the hunter long to feel a light grip onto his the material of his clothing. He stole a glance down, lingering on the tears that shined through the dimness of the luner above from his cheeks. Only thing at went through his mind was the horror this one probably faced before collapsing. His heart felt for him so his hold got stronger as Sugizo jumped him gently to readjust his body for a more sturder grip.
Bending his knees slightly against his door for support, Sugizo got his keys to unlock it and enter his small home. He kicked the door closed behind him and went over to the cream sofa, laying down the boy gently. The hunter brushed back the male's hair before leaving to get his health kit.
"You're going to be alright, boy." Sugizo spoke out while cleaning up the other's wound. Of course he could've taken him to someone more professional in this line of work, however it was late and under the circumstances Sugizo had no other choice. "I felt your grip earlier.. Can you hear me?" Sugizo wanted to make sure the male hasn't lost consciousness again.
@♜ Yune Sugihara Jeonghan could feel the strong pair of arms that wrapped themselves around his body, lifting him up and he immediately was shocked back into conscious. But he still couldn't open his eyes and god, he was terrified. Is it someone from the village who recognized him? Someone who heard of Hunter Yoon's only remaining traitor son and has taken advantage of his weak form for attention? He wanted to get away from this person but he could barely move in the arms and honestly, he didn't have the energy to.
Yet there's something about the arms that calmed a small part of him. It was gentle and warm; it reminded Jeonghan of the younger days where his father would give him a hug for his accomplishments before everything went to . Unknowingly, a trail of tears escaped from his closed eyes as his hand slowly reached for the shirt of his carrier. He clutched into it, not wanting to let go.
It was different, but it was good different. He felt safe with this stranger and he allowed himself to relax in the male's arms, not knowing and not caring what the future will hold.
@✓ Jeonghan {jailed} Night after night, day in and day out, Sugizo never stopped to take a rest for the past week or so until his task is completed. That's just the type of guy the hunter was. Driven from his past, Sugizo is a determined hardworker who never stray from his motivation. His family has been ripped from him violently. That he'll never let go. When his older sibling turned into dust from his every eyes, his parents murdered in cold blood, Sugizo was never the same again. A vow he held dear to his heart always kept him going.
Now collecting information on a bloodsucker from his raster, Sugizo's ear twitched at weak footsteps approaching from afar. The warehouse was empty with nothing but what has been left behind. Boxes, broken wood and pipes, useless weapons. The sound echoed through it and made the hunter curious. Sugizo took out his weapon of choice for self protection. If it was a vampire, this will be a productive night.
Brown eyes looked to the fallen figure passed out onto the cold ground. Seeing how it was a regular human, Sugizo put away the dagger that was held tight in his hand then slowly advanced incase it was a trap. The hunter kneeled to the body now and saw the blood stream along his neck after pushing back the male's hair.
"Poor one.." Sugizo's voice was gentle and quiet. He needed to transport him to a safer place than here. Sugizo was relieved the fallen male wasn't dead... not yet anyways. If he didn't act quick he would soon be.
Taking in and out a breath like a sigh, he gently picked up the boy in a bridal like fashion to him back to the hunter's place to tend to his health.
Jeonghan's decision of becoming a donor has ripped him away from his family. After all, what sane parents would want to keep a son who sided with the murderers of their precious daughter. And don't get him wrong, he doesn't regret his decision at all. He was more free and he enjoyed doing what he does. Vampires are fairly calm with their thing, and he was never the one for war and fighting. As a donor, he just gives blood and goes rest and eat something and he's done. None of that training his father make him go through for most of his life.
But sometimes, he couldn't help but miss his mother's cooking and his father's rare compliments on his skills. Will he go back to doing what he did before? Definitely not, but that doesn't mean his father's compliments weren't needed. Most times, the times he miss his parents greatly are when he's in pain.
Like right now, after a new fledling took more blood than he could give. With staggering steps, Jeonghan made his way into the village he was prohibited from ever entering. Or more specifically, he arrived to the warehouse where his father used to train him everyday. It's now abandoned, but Jeonghan still likes to sneak in here and relive those moments, at least until he gets better.
His steps were slower than other days and he knew he probably won't make it out of here without a short rest. His mind was fairly blank and all he cared about was a place to lay down for a while. He hadn't wiped away his blood for he had ran from the fledling the first chance he got.
He made his way towards the area that was well hidden, so he would at least have the chance to escape if he needs to. Unfortunately, he was not that lucky and his legs gave up as well as his energy and he lost conscious in the middle of the room.
@✟ Key [Apologies for the late reply. I had a lot going on this week.]
With great control, or maybe he could consider it stubborness, he held back a smug smile. And Baekhyun was quite glad when he moved his flashlight in the direction the other was pointing in. Quickly, retrieving his bag holding his supplies he stalked the short distance until he was in the area. He was the picture of calm as his flashlight waved around over the trail of blood that quickly became a pool. And then he spotted the woman vulnerably lying out in the open. His thoughts replacing her with memories of his mother.
"Crap! This is bad.." He muttered lowly as he rushed to the females side. Immediately, setting things aside before he began rummaging through the bag again.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Baekhyun yelled out at the other male who seemed keen on keeping his distance, from over his shoulder adding on more, "We have to help her! So get over here!"
He was glad that at that moment it had only just barely become night time. He pulled out a set of gauze and wraps before he removed his jacket so that he could work effectively. Occasionally, Baekhyun would pause over the next half hour to make sure he couldn't hear any arrivals he wouldn't be able to handle. At least not while he was so focused on slowing the bleeding of the victim. When he was sure that he was done patching up the woman, he handed over his jacket. Then finally proceeded to reach out for his temporarily abandoned flashlight.
@♛ Baekhyun The vampire's feet came to a hesitant stop, temporarily letting himself get engrossed in Baekhyun's words. Right. He should act like he wants to get this done and over with. After all being in an unguarded situation like this, with only one hunter nearby would make any normal human panic. "Sorry. I'm... having a hard time recalling-..." He trailed off, letting his eyes follow the ground to where there was a gap between two stacks of boxes, leading down another path, "Ah.. t-that..." He pointed, stepping backwards until there was less distance between them, as if seeking protection from the 'supposedly stronger human' male.
There... between the boxes lay a young woman, covered in blood- most profusely at her neck as if recently bitten, the blood pooling around her, and her breath coming in short gasps. "Is- is is- that another ... v-victi-... holy . That's a lot of blood. Will she die?" He leaned back against some boxes, and covered his mouth; trying not to laugh at the prop he set in place earlier. A donor; one of his favorites. She certainly wouldn't bleed to death with how many Evermore pills he forced her to take earlier. He met her eyes, wordlessly warning her not to speak.
@✟ Key It might have been an odd name to the other but Baekhyun was sure that he had heard stranger one's. Which was probably the reason he shrugged it off without a second thought. When the last few remaining peaks of light slipped from the sky the hunter slowed his pace down considerably. His hand rummaging through his bag to find his only flashlight. Quickly flipping it on before proceeding to rush so that he could catch up to the other male. Who must've had some foreknowledge that he was about to ask something if catching the tail end of Heejun's stumble was anything to go by.
"You say that like you talked to me on the phone." came his muttered reply as he moved up next to the other finally. Calmly Baekhyun, bit back another scathing remark. "Look, Heejun. I'm sure that you would like to get home soon. So could just tell me where you supposedly last saw your friend?" he added hoping to keep the conversation professional and productive. As with anything, he knew that if one stayed out at night their were too many what if's that could play out.
@♛ Baekhyun The vampire's eyes had adjusted to the darkness a long time ago, making it easy for him to navigate around all the boxes littering the warehouse. It wasn't until Baekhyun had asked a question that he clued into how abnormal his behavior might be to a human, "Oh? My name is... Jun. Hee Jun" He lied, knowing full well he couldn't use his real name. Even though most hunters didn't know what he looked like, they definitely would recognize his name 'Key' as the name of the leader of the Vampiric clan.
Hee Jun... he inwardly groaned. What an awful alias.
Suddenly more aware of his actions, he feigned a stumble, acting as if he didn't see the box right beneath his feet, quickly latching onto a nearby post for support, ".... why is it so dark? Did you bring a flashlight or something?"
Once he stabilized himself, he glanced over his shoulder, just far enough to take a nice long look at the hunter, evaluating the other's body. He was having way too much fun with this, "Say... aren't you being a little too suspicious." He inquired with a fake uneasy tone, lips curling back into a half-sneer. "You asked my name but you should have already known it from when we scheduled to meet up. You are the real Baekhyun right? Not some Vampire in a disguise, trying to catch another victim in a secluded place right?"
@✟ Key Barely fifteen seconds had passed by, when Baekhyun heard the arrival of the witness. An affronted scoff escaping from between his lips. This idiot was daring to accuse him of wasting time? Calmly as he could he instead of moving paused to take several deep breaths so he wouldn't lash out at the other male. Once his anger was reigned in and only simmering did the hunter pick up his bag to follow the other.
As his body took to walking instinctively, he pooled over the words the other spoke. It seemed quite odd but he decided he could figure it out later. "What's your name?" was Baekhyun's inquisitive response, as he shifted his bag into his left hand instead. If nothing else, maybe he would seem polite.
Though the journey took him further and further into the building, his eyes continued scanning over each inch of the boxes he passed. Intently, looking out for any clues he might find on the suspect. Baekhyun inwardly chuckled to himself, perhaps when things were safe he could become a detective. Albeit he was sure that he would have to wait quite some time for that.
That is all Jungkook feels at the moment. He had his eyes closed, too heavy and too exhausted to open them. He leaned his head backwards against the dirty wall of the building, reaching down to his waist to press down onto the wound that made a home in the boy's side. "Ah, ." Jungkook winced with a small groan. The injured male's clothing was ripped and bloody, the sleeves were completely torn off revealing the multiple cuts and bruises varying from minor to major. "Where am I anyways?" He cracked an eye open and skimmed over his surroundings, trying to asses the situation at hand but he knew time was running out. Shifting a little, the half blood hybrid flattened the free hand onto the dirty ground of the building and slowly pushed himself up but Jungkook's legs gave out from underneath him. Not having enough strength yet to support himself just yet, so the boy just settled onto the dirty floor with his head resting against the wall. "Well, what in the world am I supposed to do now?"
He was ed.
He was so screwed.
So royal ed.
That was the million dollar question of the day. Despite knowing fully well that there was no immediate answer for the question, he had realized that was something was wrong. Something was so oh every wrong. Jungkook can't feel his legs anymore, more like he couldn't feel his entire body because it beginning to feel numb. He was losing a lot of blood, far too quickly for the half-ling's taste. "What an end." He supposed that if he was going to die in a place like this, where no one would find him, he could move on peacefully. Maybe. Who knows exactly. "Ah." His laugh came out breathlessly. "I can handle see anymore." Jungkook confessed. His eyes began to close, his body falling limp against the wall. The last thing the boy heard before everything went black, his body collapsing onto the ground with a soft thump, was the sound of the entrance gate opening.
[ AND THE LONG WAITED PLOT HAS STARTED- NOW I AM SORRY IF IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO YOU ;A; ENGLISH LANGUAGE ISN'T MY NATIVE LANGUAGE. ]
@♛ Baekhyun The air was saturated with fear at this time of day, humans everywhere rushing to get inside, praying they wouldn’t be abducted as the skies fell to darkness. Several people had already disappeared that week, after all. The villagers had every right to be scared. Key smirked, dragging his palm along the wall of the warehouse as he slowly approached their chosen meeting spot.
The vampire’s crimson eyes were burning bright with excitement, but they were currently concealed by dark brown contacts and his fangs were retracted too; to anyone who saw him, he would appear completely human. “Hm?” He grinned, nearing his target…. He could sense their frustration by the way their heart was beating, making him laugh quietly. Was it that late already? Maybe he made the other wait for too long. He had no concept of time.
Rounding the corner, Key stepped into the light, wearing casual jeans and a hooded sweater to match with the cool night air despite not actually needing one. “Um… Mr. Byun Baekhyun, was it?” He called out to the figure against the wall. The vampire apologized, one hand in his pocket, and the other sheepishly rubbing at his nape, “Sorry for being late. I got lost along the way. I’m not too familiar with this area.” He smiled, pointing to the entrance of the warehouse, “Lets not waste anymore time, I’ll show you where the person vanished.” Without another word he walked off, not bothering with the usual custom of shaking hands or making a formal greeting with the man. It simply wasn’t part of a vampire’s culture to do greetings like that.
@✟ Key Lately, it seemed to the brunett that he was feeling slightly unnerved. With cautious eyes he glanced up to the pink tinted sky. Following up closely with a heavy sigh, Baekhyun leaned his back and head against the solid surface behind his body. As, he did so patiently waiting for the imformant. His deeply rich colored eyes ran over the expanse of alleyway. All his thoughts darkening with each minute that passed by.
"Why is that I'm the one who has to deal with idiots.." he mumbled lowly almost under his breath letting the statement trail off before speaking again, "If this half-brained wit doesn't get here soon.. I'm gonna make him wish he'd never contacted me."
It was at that point that Baekhyun's lips curved into an evident scowl. He lifted his left arm turning his arm barely to check on the time. At which point he decided to only wait for five more minutes. That seemed like a fair deal to him since he had been waiting for over an hour. And, the last thing he wanted was to be caught out at night.
i'm so sorry for the short stay but i couldn't find muse for kyungsoo so he has to leave.
this is a really good rp and i hope for the best for bite me! thank you for having me~
