Restaurant

@Kim Himchan Bowing to the chef, the waiter swiftly glided through the rows to deliver the fresh, still sizzling meat to the male -her smile confident and perky when she carefully settled the hot plate onto the table, relaying the apologies from the chef directly. The scent made him salivate and he smiled to her in gratitude. The outside looked perfect -brown with minimal fat, seared stripes lying diagonally on its top and bottom. The cut was perfect and rich -thick and juicy. Eunwoo smiled to himself and cut into the meat using the knife and fork to look in the middle.

"... It's overcooked," he said, crest-fallen just as the waitress and stepped away from his table, and turned his sharp, eagle eyed gaze onto her with the quirk of his brow. "Does your chef know what medium rare is supposed to look like? This is medium /well/, not medium /rare/. The middle should be red -brown just around the edges and completely cooked on the outsides. Tell your chef that he's a disappointment if his years of training hasn't taught him how to cook a medium rare steak properly."

She ducked her head and apologized again, this time more frazzled, and quickly collected the plate to take it back to their head chef.

@Cha Eunwoo It was a long day indeed when Himchan was about to leave the kitchen to his co-workers and take a break for the night. He had just taken his apron off and placed it to the hung on the back of the door when one of the waitresses arrived to tell him that one of the customers didn't like the steak. "Let me prepare it again, medium rare. Tell him that the steak is on us. You know how I feel when my customers are not satisfied." He smiled and took out one of their marinated steak. This time he waited for it to become medium rare. He cut the meat and placed them on the plate with an aesthetic decoration, a little bit of salad and spices. He looked at the meat, seeing the pink interior. He smiled with a satisfied expression and gave the plate to the waitress. "Tell him I will come personally to apologize in a few."

@Kim Himchan It was merely a hobby on the side when he wanted to divert himself from the burdening lifestyle of being a 2 Michelin Star Sous Chef, that he'd set up a review blog and cooking channel among his follows. He was young and successful, and upon moving to the new city, had believed that the change of environment would give him a boost to aid him in his burn out. He loved cooking, yes, but he'd found a loss of inspiration that needed to be fed only by the consumption of very delicious cuisine and meeting with other talented chefs with as much of a passionate drive as he had.

He'd made a reservation to sit at the place alone, already enjoying the presentable relaxed atmosphere and the professionalism display by the wait staff. He'd started typical -their choice wine and a more sophisticated entry item to start. For the main dish, he'd been craving the delicious taste of Stockyard strip at a medium rare. He was pleased that the appetizer itself hadn't been bad, albeit light-handed on its seasonings, and was rather annoyed by the wait time it took for the main dish to arrive to him after he'd finished the appetizer. He hadn't needed to cut into it -simply pressing his finger down against the strip of tender meat and studying the the dark lack of grill marks.

"Excuse me. This isn't medium rare. This steak is well done. Please have your chef redo this." He said gently to the surprised waiter -who send it back to the kitchen after apologizing.

@Yutaro Goto Himchan took a shaky breath and nodded his head since the younger didn't give him anything to say. He bowed back to the other, a part of him wanting the young boy to stay. "I.. Uhm.. Goodbye.. until next time." He waved the other goodbye even though he didn't look back again.

@Kim Himchan "we will see...if life gives another meeting you can count it as it is mean to be, then I will come more often but before that I guess it's time to say our goodbyes" the japanese man stood up, already finsihed his dish fast. He bowed slightly and headed straight to leave the building with no turning back. And it wasn't because he hated other or wanted to actually run away so fast. He was embarrassed and he needed a shower plus it would have been weird to whimper in the seat just from a sore .

@Yutaro Goto A wide smile formed on Himchan's face and he looked at the other feeling flattered by the other's words. "Oh. Thank you.. I am glad you liked it actually." He mumbled watching the other. "Now you know my restaurant, maybe you can come once in a while?"

@Kim Himchan The boy shook his head and took the slice in his mouth "it's delicious, it really is a big difference when an actual cook makes it" Yutaro praised teh taller and hummed at the delcious taste, enjoying every bite.

@Yutaro Goto Looking at the shy boy, Himchan smiled thinking that the pink hints on his cheeks looked too beautiful. "Ah.. Not every day. Why? You didn't like it?"

@Kim Himchan Yutaro blushed brightly at the unexpected respond. "u-um...okay" he nodded shyly. The japanese man rubbed his red cheeks and looked down at his plate "do you like to eat this for every breakfast?" the boy asked from curiosity.

@Yutaro Goto Himchan nodded and kept watching the boy. He looked down and chuckled when the younger spoke about his wish, shaking his head slowly. "Right.. You did. I should grant one of your wishes too one day." He looked at the younger with a smile.

@Kim Himchan Yutaro chuckled, for him Himchan was being slightly awkward but in the cute way, he was adorable. "yes I plan to live in the house for free thanks for this one show" the boy didn't want to tell any specific facts, he eyesmiled at the man and suddenly blushed at the memories that he could still feel while sittin on the chair. "so." he hummed and played with a fork "I granted your wish, huh" he said it in a shy manner yet he still said it outloud.

@Kim Himchan I will for sure Hyung~
-waves goodbye as I walk out the door-

@Yutaro Goto Looking at the younger Himchan smiled even though he thought Yuta would stay a little while longer. "Oh.. Okay." He mumbled and showed the other where his plate was and then sat in front of him. "I hope you like it." He looked at the younger and watched him as he ate softly. He didn't know what to say. It wasn't like he was always doing it with a stranger. Most importantly it was Yuta's first time. "Uhm.. So.. Are you around here for long?" He face palmed himself immediately after his question because he couldn't be more ridiculous. "I mean, since you are japanese. I mean will you live here now?"

@Kim Himchan You sure Hyung? -asks but since I already know your answer let you pull me into a hug, and quickly hug you back-

-smiles, my eyes turning into crescents as I walk towards the door-

@Lee Seunghoon *smiles and shakes my head*

*hugs you softly and then pulls back*

@Kim Himchan "o-oh okay" the boy smiled and walked towards where the food was at, walking slowly as he could feel the sore feeling in his , so that's how it felt after huh, he never knew and was always curious. "I will leave after breakfast, thank you" Yutaro felt as if it would be rude to leave when someone prepared breakfast for him, without even eating a slice even the boy himself would be offended if someone would leave before eating what he make.

@Kim Himchan Thank you for the meal Hyung! How much is it though? I should go pay
-chuckles and turns to the counter to go pay-

@Yutaro Goto After he explained what happened to the staff that arrived for their morning shift, Himchan took a deep breath and finally went back to the room Yuta was in so that none of the staff would go before him. "Oh hey, Yutaro." He chuckled rubbing his nape. "The door is fixed, i mean the lock. My staff arrived." He bit his bottom lip not knowing what to say to the boy. "I prepared you breakfast."

@Kim Himchan Yutaro woke up when the other man was gone, the couch clean with no evedence of what happened earlier, somehow made the boy chuckle. He reached for his now dry clothes and put them on, feeling a little cold now but earlier he had the feeling of something being against him. A big pillow, a bear? Himchan? He was unsure, maybe it was just a part of a dream. "mister?"he called out for the other, wondering if he should look around or if that would be rude.

@Kim Himchan I know Hyung, you have your responsibilities and duties as the owner, and I should leave you to them -chuckles and nods- Let's meet again soon Hyung~ you need to keep my updated on your date with Yutaro, I sure it will go really well! And I'll let you know when I talk to him, gotta make sure I won't forget it

@Yutaro Goto Himchan chuckled as he saw the other fell asleep and just curled beside him without waking him up after cleaning around. They had only a few hours before somebody arrive so Himchan made sure he put on an alarm.

After some hours he woke up with the sound of the alarm, fixing himself a bit before going inside and leaving Yuta inside the room for a while. He went to the kitchen and washed his hands before quickly starting preparing a breakfast for the boy.

@Kim Himchan You're unbelievable Hyung -chuckles while shaking my head-
Where? I mean you gave him shelter when it was pouring outside and you guys got stuck together and eventually took a liking to each other, that's quite romantic~

@Kim Himchan Yutaro closed his eyes as he waited for the other even if the man was quick the man found himself sound asleep, curled in the ball for warmth yet easy position for other to clean him. Yutaro wasn't wrong, his first impression was right. Himchan was a kind man, maybe dangerously too kind but deep inside the gentle touch by other was what attracted the smaller.
