@♡ kim yongguk. Zac just sat calmly as the doctor took his blood, watching as the tube that was hooked up to his arm fill with blood. "These always look like they are taking a lot of blood in one go, but is it true they actually aren't taking that much?" He asked as a soft low chuckle escaped his lips. His diamond blue eyes looking to the cute doctor for a waiting response. "How many more do you need?" He humbly just accepted the fact that he was just in shape and that was all, when it came to others giving him compliments or saying that he was most likely healthier then they were.
@☆ zac efron. "It's a good thing, for sure. You're able to save a lot of convalescents in need," His smile wouldn't abandon his lips while proceeding to work on the syringe and prepare an empty packet on the side. A slight chuckle instantly escaped, "Well, probably fine? But I think you're more healthy than I am," He wipe a cotton against the skin of your lower arm. "It will hurt a little. Just like an ant biting you but it won't last," Yongguk playfully convinced while inserting the needle on the same spot as earlier then replaced with a tube holder, allowing the blood to slowly flow and fill up the packet.
@♡ kim yongguk. "I'm doing alright." He shrugged his broad shoulders in a soft manner. Tt.the cat ears of the doctor caused him to feel a tug on his lips into an equal soft smile. "I don't really come into the hospital often... but donating sounded like a good thing so.." He slightly trailed off in his words but not in a rude manner it just sounded that way. Sometimes he wished he had cat ear, so he admired them...he just didn't feel like being that big of dork right now. "How is yours so far?" he had laced the last word with a little bit of sarcasm, what a habit...maybe he didn't care.
@☆ zac efron. Accident and emergency, wide entrance with automatic sliding glass doors, ambulances lined up outside, paramedics wheeling in patients on trollies, one is a child in a neck brace, a child is screaming in the corridors, doctors come running. He has grow accustomed to what happened inside the large white house for patients. But as for today, he is being in-charged for the blood donation center to help greeting the donors. He stepped into the directed blood bank donor room with him wearing a clean coat and hide away his sturdy tail during work as much as possible. From there, he got appointed with an unfamiliar guy as he approached the other male using his friendly and bright smile as both of his fluffy ears straightened up, "Good afternoon, mister. How are you doing today?" He asked while putting on the disposable medical gloves.
@♡ nam joohyuk. Life is full of surprises. That is something his best friend says and boy! Did he ever assumed he might be in for one. Passing the exams, getting a degree, and actually getting a job in a decent hospital with a good pay is nothing but surprising; yet it comes with its own flaws --- where the pressure is high, you meet people that careless about the patients and more about money, and where treatment isn't offered equally. It feels like he jumped from fairy tale to harsh reality. It took a toll on him eventually. Three years into it, he just wants to get done with his work and go home and sleep.
That day seemed nothing special. His usual routine, checking up on the indoor patients and fixing the medication for the day. His shift is about in an hour two if nothing urgent comes up. Just as he twisted the door knob to his cabin, Suzan (he still can't ask her if she's mixed or catholic or her parents were in love with hollywood) the nursed called for him at the end of the hallway, a relieved expression on her visage. Turns out there's a badly injured kitten with a fierce personality to make it worse for other doctors to handle. Not to barge but he believes he is truly friendly, though he has no clue what's actually waiting for him inside the room.
"Hello!" His usual lively and way too much overly friendly timbre echoed throughout the empty room except the angry looking kitten -- as if someone just made a sick cat joke and pissed the whole cat species all together and now they want revenge-- perched on the pristine white bed, appearing rather small though he knows that isn't the case because he read the file on the way and damn, the boy is huge. No pun intended. Taking in a deep breath, he treaded ahead, his perfectly professional I-am-your-buddy-to-help smile taught intact. "I'm doctor yang and I'll be in charge for your treatment."
"How are you feeling?" It slipped out as a matter of habit. ! Idiot, a taunting whisper in his head, and he desperately tried not to let his smile falter. "Sorry. You must be hurting a lot, right? let me see." Without embarrassing himself furthermore, he decided to make it quick it that were to be possible, avoiding eye contact. That is so humilating. "Suzan, the x-ray reports, can you arrange them on the display while I check the injuries, please?" "sure." "thanks"
"I'm going to examine you now. Do you have any external injures on your body except your hands? If yes, I need you to take your shirt off and if not, then there's no need. Same goes to your legs. Also, do you feel any kind of internal pain? If yes, we might need to run some tests. Though I doubt it since you are holding up well, still we can't be sure--" And that might be the first time since entering the room, he made eye contact with the patient for the second time. "with the bloodied state of your face." And swollen. It reminded him of purple egg plants. Don't laugh, yang yang. You have ridiculed yourself enough. "Can I ask how you ended up like that?" His voice was soft and patient, his gaze fixated on the patient's back of the palm-- dried blood on the flesh with dirt mixed. "First of all, let's get you disinfected, alright? It won't hurt…. That much."
@♡ yang yang.
As unbelievable as it may sound considering the maths students track record of three fight only in the last two weeks, it’s honestly not like Joohyuk is the violent type of person or actively seeks after them. Yes, he might probably (most ing definitely) deserve the award for the of the century but he would never stoop so low as to provoke random strangers on the street. If anything, the hacker is actually suspecting that the Almighty’s guilty pleasure is to bully him and that the old man purposely made him a huge magnet for all those bastards with too much testosterone and no ing brain.
Hospitals are for the weak - that’s the motto Joohyuk lives by.
So it surprises an astonishing amount of zero ing people when it takes the stubborn cat more than thirty minutes of weighing up the pros and cons before he finally comes to the decision that yes, the sound his fist had made after colliding with one of the bastard’s cheeks as well as the excruciating pain he’s currently feeling, are indeed quite concerning and that some cheap band-aid would probably be as helpful as wearing a thick jacket on a hot day in summer.
Not one to visibly show his pain because his massive ego would never ever allow him that, he’d frankly rather cut his finger off than cry like a little , the students enters the hospital with his head held high and an air of confidence radiating from him that didn’t match the colourful bruises that were starting to form on his handsome features.
After what feels like hours but is in reality not more than a couple of minutes, a sinfully attractive nurse (and yes, Joohyuk definitely checked her out and it had earned his approval) leads him into a room and tells him to take a seat before she leaves through the door but not without kindly informing him that a doctor would be there any second to tend his wounds.
Despite being a little over 180cm tall, his legs comically hover above the floor, the bed ridiculously high in Joohyuk’s opinion but then again, it’s not like he cared for all the midgets who would need a chair in order to reach the bed. Exhaling deeply, the kitten’s eyes fluttered closed, long eyelashes throwing shadows over his cheek as the student impatiently waited for the doctor to arrive.
