@heeyeon a。kishijoten a hefty sigh escaped from his frowning lips. he doesn't know how he ended up in this situation but he wanted to get out of it, without any fighting as possible. he looked at the other's demeanor, scared as they always are when they first lay eyes on jongin and he called them out for it. though it took some time, he relaxed his stature. he wasn't sure whether to take her words sincerely. there were a bunch of people who would die to know what was behind his sullen expressions, their curiosity almost penetrating his conscience. the thing is - he understands why they would be. to be able to get into someone's mind, even a stranger, would put their minds to ease. although he was a mystery, even for himself. when the other told him not to worry about his secrets being leaked, he couldn't help but rub his arm in uncertainty. "what do you want anyway?" he genuinely questioned. might as well get to the point, she doesn't seem likely to move without getting something from him first.
@jongin k。hachiman Hani can feel the other's rage when he replied to her question, it's not really a surprise because- who would want someone to eavesdrop while your guard is down and your displaying your emotions and all. Sure he made her interest grow but she's not that kind of a woman who'll speak what's not to be spoken. It is utterly an disgrace given that she is a Goddess if she'll do that, and that would be a sin.Well she know that she's at fault here for not minding her own business instead pry on someone's- but as a woman with pure intentions- she slowly spoke and respond to the other's question "I don't mean to eavesdrop. I was just passing by" she said as she backed away a little bit from the man, "And if you're thinking that I'm gonna expose you throughout the world, worry not Mr." she added as she looked straight into the eyes of the other, hoping that it would make him trust her word. She can see those fists forming, she gulped and remain composure.
@heeyeon a。kishijoten he found a woman who was shamelessly eavesdropping him behind the door. he felt a mixture of embarrassment and rage circling in the pits of his stomach. the mere thought of having his secrets, that he had protected for such a long, be revealed to a stranger, it made him feel what seem like anxiousness. with a huff, he looked at the woman with furrowed brows, in true disbelief that this situation was happening. it was like a pound of salt rubbed up against his wounds, it was not a pleasant encounter. "yes." he breathed in a rather harsh tone. his fingers pressed against the bridge of his nose as he could feel his curses slowly erupting from his throat. he closed the door behind him before fully settling in front of the female. "so you really did hear all that..." he stated with a frown. she must've heard a lot about his past if she were to say something like that.
"i don't have a lot of patience so whatever you have to say; say it now." he really didn't have the restraint to keep him from cursing or calling out what the other has done, so much so that his knuckles formed a fist to display the aggression he's holding back. to him, his secrets were him. and exposing himself in a rather odd way felt terrible. plus, he really didn't know what the other could do with his private matters up in the air like it did. the thought of losing his job, his hidden agendas, and everything of the sort within the other's fingertips made him feel used. and all the other asked was a rather simple question. he anticipates on her response, just what is she getting at?
@jongin k。hachiman A cool breeze kissed Hani's cheeks as it lifted the damp hair at her temples, and ruffled the hem of her full skirt as she stroll behind the shrine, hoping she can find something that would piqued her interest. Birds chirping surrounds the area and it was a melody in her ears, she could never get enough of nature, that includes humans. She hums softly as she went past the shrine, but to her surprise, she found a man who's kneeling, and stating all of the things that are personal. She didn't mean to eavesdrop but, she carefully listened to the other's wishes. The attention of Hani was caught, her interest shot up as she slowly sat silently on a rock stone.
She close her eyes as she listen to the raspy voice as it surrounds the place. 'This man must've been through a lot to the point he'll ask luck to come to him' she thought to herself. As the Goddess of Luck and Fertility, she has been through a lot as well, humans that are abusive and asks for selfish desires and when it comes to worst- they blame her for all. Although, even if she had experience those horrible times, she can't help but to like humans and be curious about them. Well, having a book isn't enough- but as the title of it says 'Understanding Humans', she need to exercise it into reality. So much for her thoughts, Hani didn't notice that the man stood up and was on his way to the exit. She stood up and compose herself as she slowly spoke "Do you really desire what you've wished for?" as those words escaped her lips, a soft breeze lifted the perspiration from her hair and replaced it with the scent of honeysuckle.
@heeyeon a。kishijoten the quiet of the shrine made him trust the walls of its secrecy. behind the walls were the murmurs of ancestors that he will never know or acknowledge. which he kind of liked. the idea of his faith being hidden as well as his secrets gave him a feeling of security. as he took in an air of the wood surrounding him, his legs automatically kneeled respectfully with his hands folded gently. he stated his worries, about his family and his future, and wished for nothing but luck for what's to come. he wanted to feel safe in his own skin, not be something of a weapon, but someone of mass respect. his voice ran hoarse as he revealed more about his life than he ever had in his lifetime.
he gulped as his eyes stared at the ground to spectate the dust. right there, at that moment, he questioned a bit of his faith. no matter how many times he visited the shrine, nothing good came out of it. maybe it was because he wasn't working hard enough or it might be the acts he did weeks prior. he didn't know for sure but he did know his legs were aching after kneeling for what seems like forever. stumbling up, he strolled slowly to the exit. his eyes were wide open as he found someone he wasn't expecting behind the outside.
