Vampires are typically seen as cursed humans– gifted with abnormal strength, speed, hearing and immortality, but at the cost of never being able to stand in sunlight, or they will suffer a fiery death.
Feeding on their only food source, blood, will temporarily boost their abilities, and prolonged hunger will drain them of their powers and will continue the ageing process from the day they were turned.

CULTURE
No one hates humans more than vampires, which is ironic because they only exist as turned forms of their mortal counterparts.
turning a human is an extremely controlled process, and requires consent from a leader amongst the vampire community[in the case of this rp, that would be the night queen].
for vampires, turning a human without consent is punishable by exile [we won't kick you out! you can make a cool exile story line if you'd like, just talk to an admin first].

@☾ Lee Chaelin Byulyi knew whenever her borders are trespassed by anyone other than her kind, all thanks to her hyperactive senses. She contemplated whether it was because the scent of vampires were something she have grown accustomed to and another scent suddenly invaded her nose, or it was because the newfound scent was too pungent that she immediately took notice of it; nonetheless, she stood by the second floor's window sill-- eagerly waiting for a glimpse of the brazen trespasser to cross her borders let alone her freshly cut grass lawn.
A woman? And a dead boar? An unusual choice of entrance but perhaps there lies a reason behind the overly grand entrance. Almost in an instant, she was by her main door and opening it to personally answer the guest, or rather, intruder. The sight of her made several vampires in sight grew in mixed awe and fear as they've only really seen the queen in court.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit, shifter?" she asked as her eyebrow raised in inquisition, her arms defiantly crossed against her chest. The news of a minor population of shifters being rogue crossed her mind as she outwardly ran her eyes up and down the woman. "Perhaps you're a rogue seeking for shelter?" she queried straightforwardly, showing no difference in her calm stance.
@✞ Moon Byulyi [A] A breathy laugh left Chaerin's lips as she dragged a freshly killed boar from its tusks down the fine streets of the Night Kingdom. Blood seeped from the unusual, huge hole from its neck, where the head barely attached to the boar's body. However, because of this, there was enough blood to leave a trail behind as Chaerin intended to, purposely wanting to gather attention from the inhabitants of this kingdom.
So far, only a few vampires have begun to follow after her, murmuring their deep confusion and worries of possibly an intruder, although keeping their distance as well as when they got too close, a deep growl would escape from her as a warning. None of them were whom she was hoping to meet and greet with this wonderful gift she had found, but it wasn't exactly a problem. It was only a few minutes before she found herself stopping her tracks at the castle's entrance.
'Beautiful,' Chaerin thought as she examined the castle, dropping the boar so she could move around as her eyes analyzed and appreciated the sight before her. She almost felt bad for soiling the dirt with the blood of a boar-shifter--almost. Letting out a small sigh, she walked back to her boar and plopped herself right next to it before she continued to eye the castle, wondering if someone would come out anytime soon. If not, then perhaps she would have to find them herself.
